Gavan: A dark romance

Dr. Lily Cabot is given a rare dragon stone by a retired professor in Boston who specializes in dragon mythology. Oddly, the stone heats up and vibrates in her hand, compelling her to seek answers from a wise woman- Esther Dale, one of Salem's leading witches. Unfortunately, a medical emergency cuts their meeting short. A few days later, Esther's nephew pays Lily a visit in Boston to invite her to their Samhain celebration. Thrilled by the prospect of celebrating Halloween with real witches, she accepts.
It is during this sacred Sabat she meets Gavan Dale, a familiar stranger and powerful guardian of the spirit world. Their attraction is intense and immediate- and they are filled with indescribable joy. Danger lurks in the shadows, however, and soon the celebration becomes a nightmare as Lily is attacked by an entity. Once again she dodges danger, but it evokes faint memories of a distant past- of who and what she is. When Lily informs Esther of the incident, the witch refers her to a friend who may have the answers to her questions.
