A 5th book in the Ice Moon series

This 5th tale in the Ice Moon saga tells us what happens after Valentina has the Marchenko AI. However this is all told in flash back by Amy to the French reporter from the Universe series, so the impending doom is obviously averted, but half the fun is finding out how. This quest by the reporter is triggered by hearing from the disabled chef, Sebastian, again from the Universe series, about Watson, but only enough information to wet the appetite!
Intrigue, detective work, trickery, peril and fascinating insights onto human and AI intelligence make this a dun and engaging novel that ties in with several other series by Brandon.

Great read, fast read. MORE MORE MORE

Mr. Morris,
I've come to look forward to your novels as much now as my lifelong favorite Stephen King. So i guess that makes you tied for best author in my book. No pun intended. But maybe i still have to give that edge to King.

Why? Because I'd post double for twice the book,or triple for three times as long. Many of your books, and I've read all available for kindle, seem either there is far more to the story not being told or they just end when the story seems only half told. Longer reads man! You have the talent to write a full novel. Please do. To the publisher, trust him,it will sell. Hard sci-fi is the future, and that future is already here! Let us have more.

Book review:
“The Jupiter Catastrophe: Book 5” by Brandon Q. Morris
I have learned so much about the ice moons of Saturn and Jupiter by reading the five novels in this series. Very entertaining too!
Especially interesting to me inter alia are:
Watson’s discussions with the crew members
Max Born’s (1882 – 1970) statement that if you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don’t. It is correct to say that it is stranger than science fiction.
Discussion of q-bits in quantum computers
Musings on life, death, and immortality
My question to Mr. Morris: will we hear anything more about Watson in future novels?

Very intriguing

This answers a lot of questions from The Return to Enceladus which seemed to be setting up another story. I found this book interesting in all the extra facts learned to the second Enceladus mission, but where many stories are either intriguing because of what you learn about an adventure while others are intriguing because the make you feel the danger, this book at both. Especially the ending kept me overly anxious for the lead character who had been a minor character in other books.

Jupiter catastrophe is an amazing ending to the Ice and Moon series. Story is written as a flashback, and provides a conclusion to the previous novel, Return to Enceladus. Brandon Q Morris has a way of weaving stories that keeps the reader glued to the pages, while also dishing out a healthy dose of hard science. I’d recommend this entire series.

Just when we thought the Ice Moon series was over, we get a book 5.

I really enjoyed the clever way the book told the story to reveal what happened in detail in book 4,

Very well done as always.

Book 5 in this 5 book series sees our crew heading for a collision with Jupiter. Their ship appears to be under the control of an unknown entity and all actions to get the ship back on course and avoid the crash are unsuccessful.

A great ending for this series.

Recommended series.

Excellent closure of the series, both character and story wise. Although this series had it's hiccups, this book finishes strong and it keeps the reader engaged the whole time. I am now ready to dive into another hard sci fi series from this author :)

It was great to finish iIce Moon and at the same time to explain the origins of many mysteries. A mystery brings another mystery and asks for more explanations be it of this planet or of outer space.

Once again, the story ends abruptly, with a poor conclusion, seeming as though there will be continuity for the unanswered questions.

I liked how it adjusted for the abrupt ending to the previous volume.

Great Read

I really liked this book as I did with the previous 5! I enjoy his style and love the fact that he weaves planetary physics and plausible technological advances into all his stories. Thanks for helping me escape this earth Brandon!
