Arc 1 (University Thriller): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Arc 2 (Murder Island): ⭐⭐⭐
I liked the first arc a lot better than the second. Murder Island had too many plot holes, it was confusing, and I didn't really feel satisfied at the end. I also expected it to be scarier than the school arc because of the title, but overall, the story hasn't really freaked me out at all.
Arc 3 (Death Show): ⭐⭐.5
The scenes in the hotel were pretty cool, I would've like it more if it stayed there and was a hotel horror. I didn't care for the whole clown plot; it wasn't interesting, and it wasn't scary.
Arc 4 (Shocking Orphanage): ⭐⭐⭐
I liked this arc better than the previous. The little kid was creepy. None of them are really scary though, I would say I'm more engaged because of the mysteries.
Arc 5 (Unknown Prison): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was my favorite arc besides University Thriller. It was set up to be more of a thriller mystery than horror which made it more interesting. I do wish that we got to see more about the experiments. I feel like the main character isn't really experiencing anything scary himself. I liked both of the main protagonists a lot.
Arc 6 (Ghost Ship): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Ghost Ship arc was the creepiest to me, but I also hate the idea of being stranded at sea. The scene where the captain was looking at them at the staircase gave me chills. It still wasn't scary though. I liked that we got to see what a double viewing is like.
Arc 7 (Taking my Surname): ⭐⭐
This arc was confusing and I didn't really like it that much. The ending felt rushed and I feel like this author didn't really have a great climax or ending in any of the arcs.

ชอบมากกก ในเรื่องคือมันมีเทคโนโลยีโฮโลกราฟฟิคที่ทำให้คนดูหนังสามารถดูได้เหมือนตัวเองเข้าไปเล่นอยู่ในหนังเอง ใครเล่นดีอยู่ได้จนจบเรื่องแล้วมีคะแนนสูงก็จะถูกเอามาฉายเป็นเวอร์ชั่นใหม่ด้วย
คราวนี้นายเอกไปดูหนังสยองขวัญที่ไม่ค่อยนิยมเท่าไหร่ เพราะคนส่วนใหญ่ก็ไม่อยากเจอเรื่องน่ากลัวกับตัวไง แล้วพอเข้าเรื่องไป จากบทตัวประกอบตายคนแรกของเรื่องกลับโดนผีมาตกหลุมรัก ทั้งผีทั้งศพเกือบทุกตนในทุกเรื่องชอบมาคอยช่วยเหลือ บวกกับความฉลาดกับไหวพริบของเจ้าตัวทำให้แทนที่จะตายก็เลยรอดมาได้ตลอด
พระเอกก็เป็นหนึ่งในผีที่เจอมาตั้งแต่เรื่องแรกนั่นแหละ คือตอนแรกๆ เดาไม่ได้เลยว่าพระเอกเป็นใครกันแน่ มีตัวตนจริงมั้ย เป็นคนหรือผี หรือยังไง ต้องไปลุ้นกันเอาเองในเรื่อง
มีหนังทั้งหมด 7 เรื่อง เนื้อเรื่องของหนังจริงๆ ก็มีสนุกบ้าง แย่บ้างไปตามเรื่องตามราว แต่พอนายเอกไปเล่น ไอ่ที่มันไม่สนุกก็เลยดูสนุกขึ้นมาไรงี้

คำเตือน!!! นี่คือนิยายสยองขวัญ!! นิยายหนังผี!!! แท้ ๆ ตายจริง แหว่ะจริง หลอนจริง
เมื่อมีเทคโนโลยี ที่คนสามารถเข้าไปเล่นได้เองในหนังโดยการใส่เครื่องvr (อะไรสักอย่าง) คนอื่นเลือกที่จะเข้าไปเล่นหนังรัก นายเอกกลับเลือกที่จะเข้าไปเล่นหนังผี!! ซึ่ง
เรื่องแรก ... ผีแรงมาก ผีน่ากลัว ผีหลอน เอาจริงๆ คือไม่ได้เตรียมใจ ปกติคือไม่อ่านนิยายผี ถ้าจะอ่านต้องมีการเตรียมตัว เตรียมใจ งดน้ำก่อนเข้านอน ... สรุปวันที่อ่านได้นอนตีหก .. สนุก!! เปล่า .. ไม่กล้าไปเข้าห้องน้ำ ต้องรอฟ้าแจ้งถึงจะกล้าไป!! ก็เรื่องมันดำเนินในห้องน้ำนะ น่ากลัววววว.. แล้วอ่านถึงหกโมงเช้า เปล่าอีก .. เล่มเกมส์ ไม่กล้าอ่าน รอเที่ยง.. ค่อยกลับมาอ่านอีกครั้งนึง .. ฮาาา
แต่เรื่องหลัง ๆ ไม่ค่อยน่ากลัวถึงขนาดนั้นละ อาจจะเพราะเตรียมตัวดี หรือมีความชิน แต่ความรู้สึกคือเฉยๆ เพราะจะมีเปลี่ยนไป แนวคนโรตจิตบ้าง แต่ยังมีผีอยู่ แต่จะแนวผีดี ไม่ค่อยมีผีหลอนเท่าไหร่แล้ว
ตัวเรื่องหลัก .. นายเอก เข้าไปเล่นหนัง เล่นจบ ออกจากโรงไปดูหนังต้นฉบับอีกทีเพื่อแก้ปมที่ไม่เข้าใจ กลับหอ รอ 3 วัน โรงหนังโทรมา เรื่องที่นายเอกเล่นได้รับคัดเลือกให้ฉายในโรง นายเอกไปดู+คอยฟังรีวิว ... ผ่านไปอาทิตย์นึง เรื่องใหม่เข้า ไปเล่น ออกมาดูต้นฉบับ ฯลฯ แบบนี้วนไป .. แล้วถามว่าพระเอกอยู่ตรงไหน?? พระเอกก็จะเป็นผีลับ ผีบ้ากาม ในหนังทุกเรื่องที่นายเอกเข้าไปเล่น ไม่ได้เป็นตัวละครใด ๆ ทั้งสิ้นในหนัง และพอออกจากหนัง ก็คือหาย.. เพราะต้องเก็บเป็นความลับให้คนอ่านงงกันว่าเป็นใครกันแน่ .. ก็มีคอยปล่อยปริศนาให้ขบคิดเกี่ยวกับพระเอกในหนังแต่ละเรื่อง ทีละนิด ๆ
ซึ่งถามว่าสนุกมั้ย .. ถ้าชอบดูหนังผี ก็คงจะชอบล่ะมั้ง แต่หนังบางเรื่องนี่ ไม่มีเหตุ ไม่มีผล (ก็ปกติของหนังสยองขวัญ) และความน่าสนใจของพล็อตหลักมีน้อยไปนิด และยิ่งตอนเฉลยตัวตนของพระเอก คือ??? มองบน ตาแทบกลับ.. ฮาาา ก็..ไม่มีเหตุผลเหมือนเรื่องหนังน่ะแหล่ะ
แต่ก็สรุปว่าอ่านได้นะ แปลก ๆ ดี ไม่ค่อยได้อ่านแนวสยองขวัญ อ่านทีเดียวพร้อมกัน 7-8 เรื่องไปเลย ก็..โอเคดี .. ล่ะมั้ง..

เป็นเรื่องที่ทั้งชอบและรู้สึกเฉยๆ ในเล่มเดียวกัน
รู้สึกประทับใจตอนแรก เพราะส่วนตัวเราก็ว่าเป็นคนที่อ่านและดูหนังสยองขวัญมาไม่น้อย คิดว่านิยายแบบนี้ทำอะไรเราไม่ได้หรอก แต่เอาจริงๆ ตอนอ่านบางทีก็เสียวหลังวาบ หันไปมองรอบตัวเพื่อความปลอดภัยอยู่บ่อยๆ แต่ก็ไม่ได้สยองตลอดเวลานะ บางทีกำลังจะกลัวๆ ตัดมาตลกโบ๊ะบ๊ะ หรือตัดมาด้วยผีทะเล ผีลวนลามก็มี
ในเรื่องชอบความตรงของคุณผี อยากจะเต๊าะก็เต๊าะ แต๊ะอั๋งนิดๆ หน่อยๆ ก็เอา เออ มันก็ผีแหละ แต่เราก็เหมือนซูหมิ่น ท่ามกลางผีที่จะดีจะร้ายก็ไม่รู้ มีผีทะเลที่แน่นอนว่าเป็นฝ่ายเราโผล่มาก็อุ่นใจดี
ส่วนตอนอื่นๆ รู้สึกเฉยๆ ไม่ค่อยน่ากลัวเท่าไหร่แต่ชอบตอนเสิ่นซู่โผล่มามาก มันเป็นความรู้สึกแบบอิอิอ๊ะอ๊ะ บอกไม่ถูก.. ความรู้สึกแบบจะแหมมมมมม...เวลาเห็นเพื่อนเราถูกเต๊าะ แบบเรารู้ทันว่าเธอก็ชอบนะอะไรอย่างนี้

3.5-3.7 ish. Interested in the beginning but kinda lose interest after that. I started this genre bcoz of KOD but quite disappointed w this one. Need to explore more.

I really enjoyed this novel - it was a fun read and well translated.
That said, I felt that the reveals (whether it was the reveal in the main story or in the horror movies) were really abrupt and not as satisfying as I hoped. The author does a great job of developing characters, a story, and the mystery, but then uses the most cliche and trope-y way to resolve the mystery. Usually, the main character has already "guessed" the ending (with astonishing leaps of logic) and the final reveal doesn't add much. This means that many of the stories have a proliferation of plot holes.
However, if you are able to turn your mind off a little, the characters and their interactions are quite sweet. And the settings that the author develops are all pretty interesting.

I kinda liked it but not enough to move it to my good stuff shelve.
I am not a fan of horror movies and even some of the earth is online scenes made me feel disgusted, and this one is probably not better. But the plot was interesting enough, and i mostly enjoyed reading the novel.
Some of the things i did not like are:
MC is OP. It is reasonable but boring.
ML found a strange way to persue the MC. Too complicated to be realistic but without it there would be no story. Still deserved several eyerolls from me.
The ending was a little bit off. It is not that i wished for a totally different ending, but i think it could be executed better.
In overall, it was good but not smth i will ever reread. Shelved as "it was ok".

เรื่องนี้อ่านเวอร์ชั่นแปลภาษาอังกฤษ (แต่เห็นมีตีพิมพ์เป็นภาษาไทยด้วย)
ปกติไม่อ่านแนวสยองขวัญ แต่อ่านรีวิวแล้วอยากลอง
ในเรื่องแบ่งเป็น 7 Arcs แต่ละตอนคือ Su Min ตัวเอกของเรื่องจะดูหนังสยองขวัญ
โดยใช้เทคโนโลยีใหม่ คือคนใส่หมวกแล้วสามารถเข้าไปเป็นตัวประกอบตัวนึงในหนังเรื่องนั้นได้
ถ้าตายในหนัง ก็ถือว่าจบบทบาท ออกมาจากเรื่อง (แต่ไม่ได้ตายจริง ใครอยากเล่นใหม่
ก็ซื้อตั๋วใหม่ เข้าไปดูอีกกี่รอบก็ได้) แต่ Su Min จะพิเศษกว่าคนอื่นคือรอดมาได้จนจบเรื่อง
ทำให้หนังได้ฉายใหม่ เปลี่ยนเป็นเวอร์ชั่นที่มี Su Min เข้าไปเป็นนักแสดงอยู่ด้วย
ลืมบอก Su Min เป็นนักศึกษา หน้าตาดีมาก จัดว่าเป็นคนหล่อประจำมหาวิทยาลัย

ที่เทพมากกก คือ Chen Su พระเอกของเรื่อง ซึ่งมาแบบลึกลับ กว่าจะรู้ว่าเค้าคือใคร
ก็จบเรื่องไปเลย
อีกสาเหตุที่รู้สึกว่ามันไม่ค่อยสยองคือ มันเนิบๆ เนือยๆ การตัดสินใจบางอย่างก็ดูแปลกๆ
เช่น มีตอนนึงบอกว่าอย่าออกมาตรงทางเดินหน้าห้องในโรงแรมเพราะอันตราย ต่อจากนั้น
ตัวละครก็ชวนกันไปกินข้าวชั้นล่างของโรงแรมทันที อ่านแล้วก็ เฮ้ย..อะไรฟระ
อารมณ์ประมาณนี้จะเจอเป็นระยะๆ ระหว่างอ่าน ปกติเป็นคนกลัวผี อ่านเรื่องนี้ยังไม่กลัวเลย
สรุปว่า อ่านได้ แต่ไม่ค่อยลุ้น ไม่รู้สึกว่าน่ากลัวมาก กลางๆ ค่ะ

Es una historia muy entretenida, tenemos un protagonista que decidió ser "único y diferente" al ser el primero en experimentar entrar a una película de terror en lugar de una romántica como todos lo hacían solo para terminar siendo acosado por un fantasma convirtiendo todas las películas de terror en "terror romántico". Es una historia corta, interesante, con toques de intriga y terror (aunque en mi caso no soy de las personas que se asustan cuando leen) y sobretodo ✨CÓMICA✨
La media estrella se la robo el hecho de que realmente me costó un poco (mucho) entender el origen del otro protagonista y lo sentí muy simple y que aun faltaba mucho por explicar respecto a él pero eso es todo.
Cuenta con 7 arcos cada una contando una película de terror diferente.
Muy recomendable si buscan una lectura simple y entretenida para salir de un bloqueo de lector 🦦

i couldn’t bring myself to finish this one, it was just too nonsensical. it was so hard to follow the characters logic because nothing made sense at all. the worldbuilding was so painfully simple almost as if the author couldn’t be bothered to come up with something or explain anything. both the different ‘movies’ as well as the real world were really poorly done. it honestly reads like a badly written fanfiction. and the romance (if you can even call it that) consisted only of the ML constantly touching, groping and kissing the MC without his consent. how is that cute?!? idk what happens later in the book obviously, but i just can’t with this anymore, i feel i am wasting my time here.

Estuvo... Bien (?)
Muy entretenido, de principio a fin.
Considero que al final, la escritora deja muchos vacíos que pudo desarrollar... Como por ejemplo, que los padres de Su Min conozcan a Chen Su o saber por qué Min Min puede ver fantasmas...
Ademas, hubo un arco, "Show de la muerte" que se me hizo eterno. No me gustó para nada y fue muy alargado... También tengo un problema con cómo se desarrolla su Romance.
No es una novela que recomendaría ni que releería.

pros: great mc, the interactions with the love interest were fun, interesting concept, overall really interesting arcs/movies! overall really fun and light read
cons: 3rd arc was kinda boring, the end felt off and very abrupt, the relationship felt kinda abrupt too (no real development outside of the movies and even inside of them it wasn’t a lot), a bit confusing bc there were so many characters (real ppl and movie characters)

Liked it but there were a lot of plot holes. The ending felt abrupt. I enjoyed reading the MC and ML interaction and development through out the stories and how much they grew through journeying through the horror movies. It had a unique plot point and interesting concept I just wish it had been a little better executed and thought out. I was still very curious about the ML at the end.

Beberapa arc nya horor banget, bikin merinding & kebayang2 sendiri. Tapi ada juga arc yg hantunya cute & sweet banget nunjukin perhatiannya ke MC. Secara keseluruhan suka sama ceritanya, walaupun endingnya agak nanggung kayak buru2 selesai. Suka sama karakter MC, pintar dan tenang. Sementara ML posesif banget, sama hantu yg lain cemburuan, ML selalu siap sedia ngelindungin MC dari hantu jahat

ชอบเรื่องแรกที่สุด ดำเนินเรื่องธรรมดา บทบรรยายไปเรื่อยๆแต่บรรยากาศหลอน ลึกลับทำได้ดีมากกกก ใครชอบอ่านแนวเรื่องประหลาดลึกลับในเน็ตน่าจะเข้าทาง ไม่โฉ่งฉ่าง ไม่ตื่นเต้นแค่เล่าไปเรื่อยๆ

Me encanto la historia, el MC y el ML me agradaron bastante, su relación me resulto bastante linda.
El ML sale poco, pero en las pocas veces en que aparecía me gusto mucho. También me gustaron todos los arcos y ninguno me aburrió, aunque me hubiera gustado ver más interacción de los dos protagonistas fuera de las películas.

หนังผีแต่ละเรื่องที่ฉายค่อนข้าง… น่าเบื่อมากกว่ากลัว และพอเฉลยแล้วก็ไม่ค่อย make sense เท่าไหร่ พล็อตของเรื่องหลักแม้จะน่าติดตามว่าเสิ่นซูคืออะไร แต่ก็รู้สึกว่ายังไม่ดึงดูดมากพอ เพราะจนตอนนี้ก็ยังไม่แน่ใจว่าจะอ่านเล่มทีเหลือหรือเปล่าทั้งๆ ที่ซื้อมาครบทั้งสามแล้ว

probably a 2.5 stars. i enjoyed 4/7 horror arcs and the rest were pretty mediocre. i think the ending was abrupt and barely explained anything about chen su at all. def had potential to be something better tbh

cute read! loved the mc and ml, these characters had my favorite traits in a couple. very lighthearted novel, not scary but still perfect for halloween/october. overall an enjoyable experience. feel like i was blue b*lled tho...... jiang zhi yu i need to have a word with u (3/5 stars)

ถือว่าสนุกเลย สองอาคแรกนี่อ่านแล้วระแวงหลังตลอดเวลา ถึงหลังจากนั้นจะไม่ได้กลัวแล้วแต่ก็ลุ้นกับเนื้อเรื่องและยังหลอนนิดๆอยู่ดี แต่ไม่ค่อยชอบพฤติกรรมของพระเอกที่คอยลวนลามตัวเอกอยู่ตลอด เลยตัดคะแนนไป ตอนจบก็ไม่ค่อยเซอร์ไพรส์ คือตอนอ่านมันตื่นเต้นแหละ แต่พอเฉลยความจริงมันจืดไปอะ อาจจะคาดหวังมากไป

I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting out of this but I know I definitely didn’t get it. The ending felt so anticlimactic it made me wonder what I’d read the rest of the book for.

I really liked it, I was very invested in the couple.
The third arc was the least entertaining for me. And the ending did feel rush but I´m happy they ended up together without complications.

Really good novel, but I feel little unsatisfied but not wrong way. I just want to know more about ML cuz I feel like a lot of things are left unsaid and that frustrates me a bit. But i still love this novel.
