She’s gotta come back to me – come what may!

I loved Charlene with my heart and soul,

Just took a little longer to say it to her.

Okay, so long that she decided to move out of my life.

She was pregnant with my baby,

And that too did not influence her decision.

I guess I screwed up really bad.

But now, I’ll make it up to her.

I’ll stop at nothing but winning her back,

And getting together with the woman of my dreams.

Charlene, I’m coming.

And this time don’t say ‘NO’, please.

After all, our baby deserves to know who his father is!

Why did I even try when this has exactly ONE very “insightful” and “original” ARC review? 🤦🏾‍♀️

Also does boundary mean anything to young people these days?

This was a hard book to rate. Charlene and Joey had been dating and things are getting serious. However, he is a football player in college and hopes to go pro. He has to put a lot of work into getting there. The problem is that Charlene wanted him to focus more on her. She came across as selfish sometimes. Of course this put a damper on their relationship. Thankfully in the end they got it to work and were happy.

I did not like this book, the storyline was a nice concept but the writing lacked depth; It just seemed too forced. I did finish because I was hoping it would get better..it did not.

ONE PULSE RACING EXPERENCE!!!
OMG! Talk about thin lines. A multitude of unexpected mishaps and surprising events that keep you flipping page after page. One chaotic ride with a bounty of swirling emotions burst forward front and center. An intriguing storyline and thrilling plot propel this little gem to life flawlessly. All the drama, heart pounding, angst and suspense trust piece after piece together brilliantly. The characters are authentic, infallible and realistic with such depth and qualities that blend and flow fluidly. The scenes are so vividly detailed it gives the illusion you were right standing in the middle of ground zero with them. Remarkable job Bishop, thanks. for sharing this little gem with us.

Enjoyed the story. Charlene and Joey are college sweethearts, both focusing on their futures. Almost too late, Joey realizes what’s really at stake—can he get Charlene back? Likable characters that were realistic considering their age and situation. Touching story about growing up and realizing what you need might be right in front of you. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

Finding balance while going after your goals

I originally read the Indiana Panthers series in a box set back in 2019. So now that the books are being made available individually I was interested in reading them again as I had enjoyed them before. I cannot remember all of the story details so I am not sure if there are any changes to the story-lines with the re-release version. Redemption is the third book in the series and is about Joey, a running back with the Indiana Panthers and Charlene is his live-in girlfriend. These two have been together for a year but that does not mean that everything is stable. Joey is may be going to get his degree from Purdue University but he is determined, and has been since junior high school, to get a pro contract with the NFL, after all he is the best running back in the league. So his main focus is always on football. Charlene has dealt with this and is supportive of his goal. Joey is questioning if he wants a long term relationship, so marriage, with Charlene as once he makes it he may become a different person. Plus they were getting ready to graduate together so he was not sure about taking the next step at all with anyone. Charlene is pursuing her law degree at Purdue University. She is serious about Joey and has been hinting about taking the next step. She knows she loves him and wants to get married and have kids, not immediately but at least going towards that together. As Charlene puts a bit more pressure on Joey to spend more time with her Joey continues to not recognize what she really needs. The main thing between these two is a lack of real and authentic communication. Then add in a break-up, an unexpected pregnancy, finally some realizations and more drama. This is a young love story that is nicely written and has good characters, even if you want to shake Joey a lot of the time for being some self centered. Overall it was an enjoyable read.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Joey and Charlene are both in College. She is studying hard to be a lawyer and he is working hard to become a pro football player. Though in love, they tend to fight a lot about Joey's dedication to becoming pro and his lack of time for her. Though they are both at some fault, there is a lot of blame in this novel. To be honest, though I really have enjoyed this series so far, I didn't enjoy this particular book as much. I found Charlene and Joey to be immature and Charlene especially to be selfish and controlling. So I found myself wanting to throttle the both of them, and really wondered if they could be a couple that has a HEA.

I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.

I really had a problem getting through this story, but I kept hoping it would get better. Sadly it did not. Both characters, Charlene and Joey are stubborn and selfish. They bothe expect the other tonread their mind and just understand withouth sharing their thoughts. Charlene is selfish and should be nore supportive of Joeys dream of becomming a pro fotball player, but she should also have talked more and given more and not just demand that Joey should give her all she needs withouth her telling him. Joey should have been more open with her and talked to her and not just focused every wakin hour on his own goals. The story was annoying and irritating.

Joey is the star running back of the Indiana Panthers. He wants to go pro. It becomes an obsession and he pushes himself working out to the limit and oblivious to his live in girlfriend's feelings. He doesn't have the words to explain his feelings, plans and obsession to Charlene.
Charlene is Joey's girlfriend. She is the opposite of Joey. She wants to be a lawyer, likes plays, and has insecurity fears.
This is their story of no communication, fears, lies and downright selfishness. Can their love survived? Read and find out.

This is the third installment of the Indiana Panthers series. Joey and Charlene have been together for long time. Joey is focused on the game and school but Charlene feels like she is being taken for granted and ignored. Joey starts burning the candle at both ends with disastrous results. Charlene moves away from Joey when he takes a call while spending a romantic evening together. Can these two find the love they share and come back together?

Joey and Charlene were college sweethearts, and both focused on their careers, with Charlene to become a lawyer, and Joey who is a college football player, and wants to go pro. Charlene wants Joey to concentrate more on her, so things do not work out well. Can Joey redeem himself before it is too late? This story is filled with emotions, drama, angst, suspense, trust, and love. This is a good story overall, but I struggled to engage with the characters, however, this is just my opinion. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Getting Back On Their Love Track -
This was an intriguing story, with enough heat to power a steam train and a storyline that will keep you engrossed from the beginning until the end. The back and forth relationship of the main characters was explosive, but it also led to some steamy make up sessions. The story was really well written, which makes it really easy to recommend this book.

Redemption is book three in the series Indiana Panthers by author K. M. Bishop. Entertaining read- lots and lots of drama - at times it can be a bit much, but don’t give up reading this incredibly intriguing story. It’s messy just like real life - with its ups and downs. There is a light at the end- and the steamy scenes help along the way.
Enjoy!!

A bit laborious...
Not my favourite by this author. Too much angst & neediness & even the sex scenes weren't great, too many old fashioned words, that to me, made it rather dull. The story itself is a common theme for many authors & like MC bikers I will be avoiding sports jocks for a while. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

What would you do for love?

ATTENTION Calling All Romantic Fiends (just like myself) .... Redemption is easily one of those addictive releases that we all look for. Love story with depth? Yes Please.

Whew, Redemption is definitely one of those special gems that sticks with you, long after you're done closing the cover. K.M. Bishop has crafted and extremely realistic set of characters, as well as a storyline that will keep you completely enraptured; all the way through. There are twists & turns and a love that's surely strong enough to conquer every and anything that stands in its way. I encourage reader's to follow along as Joey pulls his head out of his... and treats Charlene as she should be. I try extremely hard never to give away any part of the plot, so that I do not ruin it for you. That being said, here it goes...

College sweethearts that are drifting apart because a certain someone needs to up his game and pay attention to what matters most (& believe it or not, it's not football). Charlene already lacks confidence and the more Joey pulls away, the bigger her doubts all while her emotions are all over the place. Will they get their HEA? Yes, however, there's is a journey that you won't want to miss, or be able to walk away from. I enjoyed the couple's growth from beginning to end AND the steamy scenes didn't hurt. Redemption was so enjoyable to me, I actually purchased a copy for my Sister. Loved this book.

I voluntarily requested an advanced reader's copy of Redemption in exchange for my honest opinion and I couldn't recommend it more. Trust that this truly is one of those reads that you'll be engrossed in.

Joey and Charlene are college sweethearts. They are struggling in their relationship. Joey is consumed with football and making it big to get a NFL contract. Charlene is insecure and believes that Joey does not pay her enough attention. The dialogue is slow at times but is boosted by some steamy scenes that always follows the couples arguing. The story deals with the immature arguments of the young couple struggling to find their way in a relationship until they can figure out all the things that are really important.
