The day Royalty gets out of jail, she never imagined she’d run into her soulmate, especially when she thought he was already at home. Jaheem was her first love, but she was too naive to recognize all the tricks of a playboy. One day, when all his games are exposed, she quickly learns that you can’t build love on a bed of lies and that’s when she bumps into a true king.
Rider is everything that Royalty’s heart was yearning for. Being that he was a little older than her and an ex-street king, his days of chasing thots were a distant memory. When he first laid eyes on Royalty, he immediately loves everything Jaheem took for granted. He vowed to lock her down despite the heavy price tag that accompanied her. When he sees her in need of a gangsta, he doesn’t think twice about turning back to his old ways.
It’s said that love doesn’t cost a thing, but what happens when the price tag isn’t monetary? In this book, we learn that in some cases, falling in love can very well cost you your life.
It was a good story. I only peeped a few misconceptions. Like when he left the house with Royalty his was driving a Challenger. But after confronting Cardi he was in an Audi. Either way it didn't take away from the story. I do wanna Know what happens next so I'll definitely be reading part 2.
My first read by the author and i was impressed. The only thing i didnt like, there was no build up between Rider and Royalty however the book did have alot of twist and turns that were not predictable. Therefore I need part 2.
That ending was crazy meat was out for blood but jaheem was setup by card I bitter baby moma. Rider is a great guy that has fallen for royalty but will living her cost him in the end?
This is one of the best reads i have had i awhile. It is well written and this plot is crazy. Man so maby questions. I do not want to give the great book away ao when is the next release.
