Fabulous tool!

If you are looking for a better job, you probably should and constantly, then LinkedIn is your best route! If this is the case and you are using LinkedIn you absolutely have to read this book. Short, easy to read and essential information! You want a better job then you have to out compete others! In this book Don gives you the tools to do that. Happy with your job and have no desire to improve your and your families life then DO NOT READ THIS BOOK. However if you are reading this review clearly you want to make a better life for your family and yourself. So do yourself a favor and read it. I really gained a great deal from reading this book and it’s pearls of knowledge. I know you will too!

At last, something easy to read, supremely logical, and above all, practical. This book drives you deftly through the process of redesigning your LinkedIn profile – or designing it for the first time – to get it to the top of job searches in your field. I looked at my profile: the one I spent so many hours designing, creating videos for, connecting with as many people in my area as I could, and I laughed sardonically. There is a much better way. So I’ve started revamping with this book as my guide, going through it again one chapter at a time, and I am filled with positive energy because I can see it’ll work.

This book similar to other LinkedIn books explains how LinkedIn works, gives tips on how to improve your LinkedIn profile and what to put in your profile for more views and engagement. It's similar to a vast majority of LinkedIn books that are free to read with Kindle Unlimited. It's not applicable to people who work multiple jobs that are not careers. Not applicable to people who haven't been in the same career for several years.

Relevant and informative, but obvoius

Good basic summary of using LinkedIn for a job search. However a cursory reading of job boards such as Indeed should give one a sense of the tactics the author recommends. As as someone who works primarily with information, I am always wary of even marginal exaggeration, my specific suggestion in describing oneself.

Great book. High level content on LinkedIn optimization. Wish there were more examples. Will look into his other material for the advanced content.
