A man found hanging in a usually serene Oregon forest sends the town of Brookings into a panic and brings Detectives Patty O’Toole and Rick Starker running. Who is he? What has he done to be murdered in such a way? Uncovering the answers proves to be more complex than they first expect. The man’s past looks like a promising lead, but no sooner do they discover possible motives in his history when they learn of another death. Do the similarities lead back to the same twisted mind? As the body count mounts, the detectives realize that they could be dealing with their very first serial killer. One who is always watching…

Twisted Murder

I liked this book but one case was left uncompleted. And the loose ends with the main murder were just wrapped up too neatly. In my opinion the main detectives are still superficial. I will continue the series to see if they improve.

"Murder Replete...for now" by G.A. Cockerham is an interesting and informative read. Lots of police procedures explained along the way to discovering who "the responsible" is. A most interesting section to me, a 62 year old woman, was the part about the "Cammer". Now, fellow readers, you have got to read this fun/creepy murder mystery to learn what I am talking about. Enjoy!

Insipid

Remedial writing with phrases and words repeated throughout the story. It is almost as if AI wrote the book. There were several location based errors. Sloppy editing.

This book is about a small Oregon coast police department, challenged with a murder of unusual circumstances, methodically solving the mystery. It’s a lesson in sound police detective step to identify the guilty party. An interesting and fun read. I highly recommend it.
