Kelly is a hot rod mechanic and she's good. She has tried and tried to get a Mechanic's position at Morgan Brothers Hot Rods, but Byron Morgan keeps turning her away. She intends to show him just what a woman can do in a dammed garage. Then Byron is challenged to a race. It's against a hot shot named Lightning Jack McGee. Jack wants one of the Morgan cars for his collection and he is determined to get it. He also knows all about Kelly and her talent for engines. And this isn't good news for her at all.

About the author

I live in a small town in Wisconsin. From my deck, I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.

I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

This action-packed story will rev up your heart and have you purring for our main characters. Byron and his brothers build, and race hot rods and Kelly wants to work as a mechanic for them. Byron has a problem with that because he believes that women's place is not in a garage. There is something about Kelly that sets her apart and she does gets Byron's cylinders igniting. But as heated as these two are together, there are some who wants to take advantage of Kelly's talents for financial gain. Will Byron and his MC brothers be able to keep her and her grandfather safe?

Exciting, action packed, MC story with mystery, suspense and romance. Byron’s story is unique due to the female character, Sage. The characters are very well developed and keep your attention. The storyline is fabulous.
