Book 9: 4 stars I purchased a copy of the novel A Baby For Florence: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 9) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely. Full of drama with a fair amount of negativity. this fast paced novel has recaps of prior book highlights intermixed with snippets of the low moral resulting from Levi's increasing rules; the couples and potential couples rocky romances; Cherish's sly, manipulative and sometimes rude ways as well as an unexpected accident for Florence caused by Bliss's birthday present and Wilma's spiteful personality. Book 10: 4 stars I purchased a copy of the novel Amish Bliss: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 10) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely. Action and drama packed with a fair amount of negativity with a delivery that is at times awkward and stilled with a good degree of recapping. Book 13: 4 stars I purchased a copy of the novel The Cost of Lies: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 13) by Samantha Price and this review was given freely. Fairly negative again focused on Cherish's self-centeredness,loneliness, jealousy and abrupt oftentimes negative or callous comments. It was nice to see a softening in Ada and the start of atonement/reconciliation involving Wilma, Levi and Florence. Ends with a happy scene. As Levi recovers in the hospital after a heart attack, he urges Wilma to make things right with Florence while at the same time Ada, Florence and Cherish focus on running the orchard, business and home. Missing Florence is the 7th book written by Samantha Price in her The Amish Bonnet Sisters series. We are back again visiting the Baker sisters as they are in the midst of planning two weddings. One of the weddings is Florence's step mother who of course trying to get her daughter Joy to agree to a double wedding. This character really riles me up.
Joy, however, stands firm and refuses to share her special day. Joy also request that her mother personally invite Florence to the wedding. This was a tense encounter. Florence is also told she is not welcomed at her step mother's wedding. Florence is devastated. Florence has been trying to get her hands on her mothers personal papers and when she does family secrets are revealed. There is also another surprise at the end of this story. I really enjoyed this story.
I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others. I was not approached by anyone to post a favorable review.
Congratulations to Samantha Price for continuing her series with such a heartwarming story. I will be anticipating the next book in this series.
I enjoyed book 7 of this story as much as the previous 6. You never know what to expect from this cast of characters. It's fun following their lives and loves!
Missing Florence: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Books 7), is a super addition to this series. As always Samantha Price has done an outstanding job showing how the Baker family truly needs and misses Florence.
Two weddings within days of each other, as well as a funeral and learning about a family she has never really known, is a lot for Florence to take in. She is wanted at her sister, Joy's wedding, but Wilma wants not part of her stepdaughter being in attendance at her wedding.
Florence's brothers share with her secrets about their stepmother, Wilma, that have been buried long ago with the death of their father.
Cherish insist on visiting her farm and continues to claim her dislike and annoyance for Malachi.
There is even a special "gift" for Carter.
Join the family again as we visit with the Bonnet Sisters. You will be so glad you did.
Missing Florence, another book in The Amish Bonnet Sisters Series, is a continuation of this amazing series about the Baker family. Florence is the oldest of the girls and making a life for herself, finally! She has always taken care of the family and now changes have taken place. Florence is finally where she belongs. Things are so complicated, but she is happy and in love. She is missed by her sisters, of course, and she misses them as well. She knows she has made the right decision regardless what the others in her family or community think! Florence has come a long way and deserves the happiness she now has!! This is another must read by Samantha Price! I have read this book as part of her Super Readers Group and highly suggest this to everyone that enjoys a great, clean christian book.
I have really enjoyed this series of amish romances. Missing Florence is book 7.
The bakers are an amish family, that have certainly had their share of problems. Florence has always been a strong character, who has supported Wilma her stepmother, especially since her father's death.
Florence is now married to an Englisher. Marrying out of the faith is not the amish way. Wilma is resentful and angry at Florence and does her best to keep her away from the family wedding. Wilma will not let Florence tend her fathers old orchid,
I don't want to spoil the book. It's another great read from Isabella, and addition to the series. Samantha has once again developed the characters into interesting people.

The drama and secrets keep on coming and appears to be leading to a dramatic ending. Earl, Florence's brother, reveals to her what happened between him and Wilma causing him to leave home and a warning about Wilma. Missing Florence has more secrets revealed, a very sad moment for Florence and Earl, new characters, a secret revealed to Carter and it appears on the horizon there is a shake up coming to the Baker home. As with the previous books Missing Florence left me wanting to read the next book now. A must read series!
I was given an ARC to review giving my honest opinion.
Two weddings and a funeral - not quite worthy of being a movie, but still entertaining. There has never been a family, Amish or not, quite like the Bakers, aka the Bonnet Sisters. Don’t expect this family to exhibit the qualities normally associated with the Amish. There is much complaining, many arguments, too much whining, and some deviousness always evident when dealing with this family. But Florence, having left the Amish to adopt English way of life, appears to have achieved something the others can’t accomplish: true happiness. May it continue for her! Don’t expect this series to be great literature, but do expect it to be interesting.
I laughed, I cried, I jumped up and down, I even shouted at the ereader. Each book in this series just keeps getting better.
This story introduced 2 new characters :) and we lost 1. :( How's the series going to end? Who is gonna marry next? What will happen to the orchard? I must have more.
This story will interfere with all other work, you'll want to finish it, just to see what happens next. I'm so amazed at the writing and the imagination of the author!
Thanks for meeting my expectations. Two weddings and a funeral and now 3 babies on the way. I’m hoping the author explores more of the Amish “separate” thing. I’m getting the impression that the Amish think they are the only ones going to heaven. Is that a valid assumption? Next title looks ominous. How bad will things get for the girls with Levi as step father?
I am so loving this series. Missing Florence is book 7 in the Amish Bonnet series. Things are really changing at home. Being Florence step mom is remarrying. This Levi is something else. Surely there mother will not marry this man. Joy will be getting married will Florence be invited to the wedding? Loved this novella . Wonderful characters well written you will just love.
I only gave this book a "4" rating because is was not a full story. I am enjoying the series, but a book that only takes a couple hours to read is just not enough. Then after just purchasing this book, one finds there is another book when it should have been part of this book and end. Then possibly, a new series.KimI
Well the drama continues. I hope that some people can make up but it seems some characters just don't have a accepting heart. It seems as if some only care about what life brings them. But there is exciting news about 3 new babies coming in the near future. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
I love the continuing adventures of the Bonnet Sisters after reading book 7 I was wondering when Florence would go missing? I had thoughts of the family kidnapping her or maybe even her brothers but none of that happened, and after reading the bookI am kind of glad. Great writing Miss Price I’m on to the next book.
Wedding dates, due dates, all intertwined in a suspenseful story. Many glimpses into the future. Will Wilma and Levi be able to pull off their blended family? Only time will tell! I received an advanced reader's copy of this book.
Cant say how much I enjoy this series of books. The sisters are just so funny and interesting. I'm so excited to see what's going to happen now that 2 more are moving into the household, I have a feeling it's not going to be pretty.
I love this author! Her sequels are so good!! This story was great! I love the growth of the characters ! Some you love and some are irritating which makes for a good plot!!! Can’t wait to read the next one !
Book 7 of The Amish Bonnet Sisters series. Really loving this series and I can’t wait to read more. It’s very interesting. The next book in the series is Their Amish Stepfather: Amish Romance (The Amish Bonnet Sisters Book 8)
This Bonnet Sisters series is easy and fun to read. There are many different stories going on throughout the book leaving one to wonder what will happen next.
Great follow up to The Amish Bonnet Sisters. Florence's sisters are beginning to see more and more how Florence was a much needed influence in their lives.
Missing Florence was an excellent addition to the Bonnet Sisters series. Can't wait to start reading the next book. I recommend this series to everyone.
