Now that's how you end a Mafia series. Hmm how should I describe this Battaglia Finale.... Magnificent!! Awesome!!! Brilliant!!! This finale was superbly written and I will miss all the characters. This was an emotional read for me because I have connected with these characters from the beginning. I was teary-eyed throughout the book because I knew this was the end of the series. I hope Ms. Mynx will continue the saga with a spin-off, with Giovanni children running the Camorra. Caio Giovanni, Mirabella, Lorenzo, Marietta, Dominic, Catalina, Carlo, Shea, Eve and Nico!

The Battaglia swan song. After 8 years the love affair of Giovanni and Mirabella comes to an end. And what an ending it was!! The story starts in the current year with Mirabella telling her story (kind of like a cleansing) to a young blogger. The children are all grown up, trying to survive being Battaglia children and all it entails.

I love how Sienna mixed the past with the current. When telling the story from the past, it was great because whenever Mirabella needed to take a break, it would go back to the current year. Those breaks were well timed because I usually needed to take a break from this great story. The story also tells about the fire that was mentioned in the last book, Omerta II, and cleared up a lot of the questions. This book was so well written it made me feel like I was experiencing everything with the characters. As much as I hated this series to end, I really appreciated the love and care that Sienna put into this whole series. Thank you for this adventure and experience!!

I cant believe that after so many years this amazing series is now completed. I just do not ever feel that it can be over. In my heart it feels like it will go on for ever. It is so real to me it is not just a story it really does feel like a real family a real dynasty. The author is an incredible writer her words bring her characters to life so much so that they really seem to live and breath. The Battaglia's are unforgettable the last word is read and I am numb!

Sienna broke my, and healed it.....

Whew, it has indeed been a long ride. I was sad at the “passing” of Gio, but I cried the tears of the broken-hearted at the passing of my Renaldo. Hell I prayed he was able to do a Houdini as well. I was blessed to be able to visualize the depth of the love the Gio had for his Donna Nera and his children. Although I’m sad to see this series end, I am looking forward to everything Ms. Mynx brings to the table in the future and with the Battaglia children.

My only prayer at this point is that this isn't the end and by some miracle, we get to see the lives of the children. I want more Gino, Gianni, Eve and more. Ugh, this book was amazing. Now, let me go cry.

Magnificent

Even though I've had this book since it was released I took my time to read or to even begin to read it. Sienna is a phenomenal author. The way how she ended this book was beyond words. My only regret is the death of Renaldo. I really loved him and Kyra and hated that he perished. The hurt and pain everyone endured was so heartfelt. In the end they all came together and even though I was pissed at Mariettas bitterness I'm so glad they made up in the end. I cried in the last 10 pages because it was so touching. I absolutely loved the series ans never wanted it to end. I hope we can one day get a book about the kids Miabella, the twins and even Lola and the others. I loved the series thank you Sienna for your dedication in telling a great mafia love story!

Beautiful conclusion

Wow! What an amazing series this has been. I'm sorry it had to end but I really enjoyed the conclusion to this epic saga. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to read one of the best mafia romance series you'll ever read. Good luck trying to put it down! Start with Destino and get carried away with the story of the Battaglia clan! highly recommended

OMG OMG OMG...I'm blown away!!!!

This book was soooooo good. It was a perfect ending to the series. How I wish I could see this as a TV series because the big screen would not be enough. I fell in love with this series with the first book Destino. The courtship of Gio and Mira to me was so sweet. You would not think this hardened Don could love his Bella the way he did. Even so, he caused his family and those around him a lot of heartache and pain because of his being the Capi di tutti Capi of the Camorra. The family sacrificed a lot for each other and did a lot to each other. But in the end, this was a story in which one finds forgiveness in the wrong one does in order to forgive those who have wronged us. Giovanni made the ultimate sacrifice so his children would have a normal life and not fall into the life that he, Lo, Domi, Carlo, and Nico were raised in. He did not want to see his sons fall to the Camorra like Renaldo, Armando and others had by the Mafioso way of life. He knew that chain had to be broken

With that said, it was the love of their wives that made them better men. Even Marietta, with her ish, loved Lorenzo and it was his love for her that kept him alive. Now, he has a new chance at a fresh beginning with his beloved Marie and children. Even though he shows skepticism about this new life, his love of family was constant.

We see Catalina and Domi mature into adulthood and grab onto their HEA and hold on for all it's worth. Domi had lost Catalina twice and was not going to lose her again, even though he acted like a complete jackass until he was read the riot act.

Poor Eve was made to grow up too fast. Her daddy issues had her turning to a father figure who was a constant in her life like she wanted Gio to be. Mira was too busy being the Donna Nera and having her husband's back and grieving his loss that she did not see the damage until years later and tried her best to correct it.

My heart just broke to read what the men had to endure in Poggioreale Prison. That prison warden was the devil. I never wanted a character to meet his maker with a horrible end as I did him. No... I take that back, maybe Kei Hyongo.

I was just so happy to read that everyone seemed to have enough time to go by in their lives that they were able to forgive and love each other again. After all, they were family, either by blood or choice.

Thank you Sienna Mynx for this wonderful series. Take a bow lady, you did good. I hope there will be a spin-off with the next generation, because you are a heck of a storyteller and I really don't want to see the Battaglia family go.

UPDATE after re-read on 26 July 2024 It has been years since I have re-read this entire series. It is still my absolute favorite. Sienna Mynx can really tell a heart-wrenching dramatic tale. This family has gone through a lot and has survived. What gets me is that these big bad men of the Camore, all come to the same conclusion and that is family is everything. These men love their women completely and will sacrifice what is necessary to make sure they and their children will be just fine. I still say that the author needs to push to have this series made into a TV serial as the big screen is not enough to tell this dramatic tale.

It would be 10 stars if I could!

What a book, what a book and what a series. As the song says it’s so hard to say goodbye. This book was amazing and a gift and love story from Sienna Mynx to us her fans. Thank you! I laughed, I cried, I yelled out oh no!

Although something tells me we have not seen the last of the Battaglia’s and there are more stories to be had. What can I say this book and series have meant everything to me.

I laughed, I cried at times my heart raced so bad I had to stop reading and calm myself down. At the heart of everything is LOVE, FAMILY, FORGIVENESS and a man in love not asking the girl he loves to forgive him but to stay with him in love and forever. This book moved me to tears, parts broke me as if I was there and knew the characters. Beautifully done! If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Bravo Ms. Mynx

O my. I laughed. I cried. I was pissed off. But l loved it. Especially the forgiveness within the family. Family that can take those hits and betrayal and come together when it counts is what a true family is about. The powerful love between Giovanni and Mirabella was at times breathtaking. I love those two. Now I want stories about the kids. Please!!!! I thought all the time between book 9 and 10 would somehow demished my remembrance of the characters and their roles in the story but just like an old friend you really loved disappears for while and then reappeared. I just picked up where I left off.
Bravo. Thanks for sharing your wonderful series with us.
Until next time Battaglia

This series has given me so much anxiety, but it has been really good from start to finish. The Battaglias have been through it all: joy, success, power, respect, pain, betrayal, loss. They had it all, then lost so much, but they’re still standing. I was a little sad to see how the guys (Gio, Lorenzo, Carlo, Dominic) were apart for so many years, but the ending was so heartwarming. I’m gonna miss this group, but I’m very happy with how things turn out for them and how they are brought together in the end of this one. Well, except for Nico. He’s been a constant presence and such a good soul, that I really want him to have a HEA. He deserves it. Even if it’s with you know who.

So much territory was covered in this book that at times I felt like my head was spinning. So many twists and turns. Gio, Dominic and Mira did a lot of planning and gambling, and though I doubted them several times, they always managed to stay a step ahead of the Generale. How Sienna Mynx came up with all of this and plotted these storylines is nothing short of amazing. Having said that, I’m still scratching my head over the fact that MiaBella was able to talk the family into using Ryder to tell their story to, especially since Gianni has a successful production company. However, I’m guessing that the next time we see him, Ryder will be successful and in a better position to pursue Miss Leeza. I can’t shake the feeling that his family is tied to Gio somehow, though, but I guess I’ll have to wait and see about that.

Not really sure if I ever imagined what the future would hold for Eve, Gianni and Nico, but I must say that I’m surprised how things turned out for them. This is said to be the end of the series, but I’m guessing that we’re going to be getting books on the next generation. This book did an excellent job of setting up storylines for them. Looking forward to seeing more of the young’uns.

So why only 3 stars? I am a huge fan of Sienna Mynx and this series, but I couldn’t bring myself to give more than 3 stars. This book was badly in need of an editor. There are so many incomplete sentences and punctuation errors that it became a huge, frustrating distraction for me. This is a huge pet peeve of mine and I was tempted to stop reading, but I’m way too invested in the series and I know this isn’t the norm for this author.

This story is a must read, so don’t miss it. You won’t regret it.

Disappointed and Spoiler alert

I chose a low rating because I felt the book was rushed to end the series. The editing was horrible and distracting, which was really frustrating. I've loved this series, the characters, and the way in which this author told this story. I'm disappointed in how rushed the ending of this series was done. I'm sure Mynx cared a lot about these beloved characters, however, somewhere along the line she grew tired of the series. I'm still processing this is the end of the series. There should have been 2-3 more books to properly end this series in my POV.

I'm disappointed with how Renaldo's character was handled. I feel Gio's main capos shouldve had a HEA, especially Renaldo, given his near death in the war with Ky. I didn't like the romantic exploration with Eve and Nico, it seemed incestuous. Her relationship with her husband should have been explored. There were too many characters involved to give proper attention to that should have been explored, ie the children. And I guess that's because their stories will be told in the next generation of this series. I feel the fans of this series was robbed. I enjoyed the love between all the couples, the plotting and end game Gio had, but hated the five year hiatous. I understand why, but the neat bow on how quickly those consequences were resolved with little resistence. The ending was incomplete with a WTH! The family reunion was too short. This was just disappointing...

Ti Amo ( I loved it)

What an amazing story. In the beginning I was worried wondering where this going? However, the author mapped out the story perfectly. This is the wrap up of a love story and also a lesson on forgiveness. Slight Spoiler: this series will obviously get a spinoff. The children now grownups are still a bit of a mystery & they need to be explored.

You will shed tears because some characters will be lost. Overall, I will miss this series immensely. Great read!

If I could give this story (the finale book) twenty stars, I would! I am very happy with this ending and I will not reveal any spoilers because I know that many are still reading and some fans of the Battaglias have not started yet. But, all I can say is that I am very happy with how it ended and I hope that Sienna Mynx may begin a new series with the grown up kids and their storylines. Awesome read!

Thank you Sienna Mynx for ending this series the way that you did. You took your time and wrote the ending as it should be written. A book worthy of the previous books and worthy of your name as an award winning author. You took us through an emotional journey and left us with HOPE for all of the characters young and old. You made us fall in love with the series again. This series is one that will be re-read. 5-Stars is not enough

World wind journey comes to a beautiful end...

First, let me say that this book’s conclusion is befitting of its of the world wind journey that took with Giovanni and MiraBella and the Battaglia family and friends. This last book was about making wrongs right, sacrifice, and loving someone unconditionally. This book took you to the brink of madness only to soar above troubled waters. It was a journey that will not not forget anytime soon. Bennissima!

Not The End

When a person writes a review, it's their opinion. They're entitled to It by virtue of having read the book or unthinkable case, the series. Some of the comments about some of the reviews were simply rude. We don't have to agree on any book. Most reviews depend on where you are in your life when you read a book.

This book has more errors than any of the books in the Battaglia's series. Most had plenty but this was the worse. If I had to read "pass" instead of "past" once more, I would go crazier than Marietta or Maribella ever did. Most people accept these errors, as I once did . No more.

Most of the book was Fierce. The end ruined it For Me. It's apparent that the children will have a series from some unresolved issues in this book. I realize this is Gio's and Mirabella's story. Still, the ending was rushed and disappointing for me. There were too many things that happened in the previous seven books of the series for me to accept what happens in Omerta I, II and Vita Mia.

I loved how the story was told from Maribella's point of view. That's about all I loved. Ms. Mynx wrote an exciting and unbelievable series. For it to end the way Vita Mia ended was a disservice to the Battaglia's and me, one of her loyal readers. I still have unanswered questions. The book left some issues unresolved. You'll have to read the children's stories for some issues to be resolved. Some questions will never be answered.

I loved the Battaglia's. This is the end for me.

FINALLY ! ! ! ! I'M CELEBRATING AND MOURNING ALL AT ONCE!!!!

I'm so happy for the last installment of the Battaglia Mafia Series. It's been years! ! ! I needed to know how it all ends. My happiness was matched only by my sadness to see it all end! I will endure all of the stages of grief. Is this normal? ? ? Sienna Mynx, I always hope you see my reviews, but none as much as this one right here ! ! I was so in love with this series and the characters I wanted to savor every chapter page, paragraph and every sentence...I savored every word! And whenever a new installment was released, I didn't just buy it and read it. I started at the very beginning and re-read every single book leading up to the newest release. Again I ask is this normal? ? ? Either way, I will get through my grieving process simply because I can always go back and start from book one and re-read the entire series as often as I like! And...I WILL be reading and re-reading them over and over again I'm sure. It'll never get old for me. Thank you Sienna Mynx... Sincerely! ! !
