What I like the most about this book are two things: First, the author uses natural ingredients. Second, she uses ayurvedic ingredients, which is not that common in this sort of books. I would have liked the book to explain more about the properties of the ingredients and their history. I would have like to know about historical queens and kings and what ingredients they used. I think history was missing from this book. Instead, it's mostly a recipe book. Nothing special about it. Still, there are some recipes I have never heard of, such as using sesame oil as a mask. I guess any rich oil would do. I wonder if it leaves a greasy residue in the hair and how to deal with it. In conclusion, I was not impressed, but this book could have been so much better with more research. Still, the ayurvedic ingredients intrigued me.
