Brother's Best Friend #2

Just Another Chance

Rate this book
Rafe Buchanan – 6’3’’. Hard muscle. Marine MP. My brother’s best friend. And the guy who took my innocence five years ago! Also the guy who gave me the most precious gift ever – my daughter ( well, our daughter I should be saying ). Did I tell you he kinda left me, asking me to move on? So, that’s what I did. I moved on to study further, to raise my child and to work with the Marines. Everything is going great until… Rafe shows up at my clinic. He’s seeking a cure for PTSD, and I’m his counselor. It’s totally f*ck*d up, right? Once again, our attraction is instant, the chemistry undeniable and don’t even get me started how good he is in bed. I want him so bad, but can’t let him know about our daughter. There’s no way our relationship could work. They say war is hell, but isn’t love a torture!

I don’t care if he told you to move on, there is no excuse to keep a baby a secret from the father. It doesn’t matter he doesn’t want a relationship with YOU for whatever reason, but both child and father deserve to know about each other. Maybe he wants to be involved in the child’s life. And not be involved with YOU. 2 different kind of relationships. Maybe the guy is not/doesn’t want to be romantically involved with you but that doesn’t stop him from loving his child. Get over yourself and think about the child first and not about the “boo boo” in your ego. I have a feeling the reason they keep the child a secret is because they don’t want the child to be loved/wanted by the father and the women don’t get to be also loved by him. Kinda competition they don’t want lose. IMO. In this books is what it looks like. I can’t say for real life because thankfully I never met a lame woman like that.
If the father was a dangerous criminal, a psychopath, a killer, a pedophile, a rapist etc then the secret is justified. Otherwise is only selfishness from the mother’s side.
IN MY OPINION.

I am going ti make thr review short.

This book is about sex. A whole lot of sex. This book is for you in the middle of the night if you can not sleep and needs something to rouse your inner desire sort of guilty read.

The narrators are horrible. The steam is hot even the wording makes me cringe so many times. There is not much character development going on between the characters.

But hey mow and then I do need guilty read.

A lot going on in this storyline as Rafe abandoned Summer after a six week forbidden fling. As her brother’s best friend, he knew he crossed the line with Summer, and left “for her own good”.
I don’t really care for romances where the Hero leaves and makes himself feel better by believing the heroine can have a better life without him in it. I also hate when the Hero blames the heroine for keeping the paternity identification a secret.
I guess I have issues with that whole affronted “how dare she” attitude when the baby momma did the brave thing in carrying and delivering the baby on her own, raising the child as a single parent, and having the courage to move on in an adult way. So the baby daddy doesn’t get to resent the secret especially when he abandoned her first.
It took a long long time for Rafe to forgive Summer. Ugh! Really?! I mean she groveled to him apologizing again and again. When she told him that everything was her fault, I almost stopped reading. He should have been thanking her for raising and loving their child after abandoning her.
So, the writing was good, their scenes were steamy and sexy, but the storyline was a disappointment for me.

Rafe Buchanan and Summer’s brother, Gavin, were best friends growing up. They had both enlisted in the Marines right after high school. When Gavin came home, he had lost part of one leg and had a bad drinking problem. Now they were at a party to celebrate Summer’s college graduation when one of the guests mentioned that Rafe was home for his grandmother’s funeral. Rafe had been raised by his grandmother because his parents couldn’t ever get off drugs and alcohol. Summer knew he had to be devastated by her death. With her brother just about ready to pass out drunk, she decided to sneak off just long enough to visit Rafe.

Rafe looked like he needed a hug, so she decided to give him one. The pretty-face boy she knew was quite a handsome man now. They sat on a blanket outside and talked about future plans. It hurt when he said he was going to sell his grandmother’s house since there was nothing else for him here in Hope. They continued talking and he asked about her dating, which she wasn’t. He started flirting with her, just like one of her fantasies about him. When she admitted she was a virgin, he suddenly kissed her. She had always wanted him to be the one to take her innocence and she was beginning to convince him. He had wanted her since he was 18 but never made any moves. When he suddenly realized he didn’t have protection, she told him it was fine and to continue, thinking it was a safe time. He was home for six weeks, that’s all he could give her. But he couldn’t promise more – he doubted he would live very long in his current deployment locale. She deserved so much better than that.

Rafe, realizing how painful his leaving would be, gave her the best of himself that he could give. Then he left a note for her to move on with her own life now. She knew he didn’t think he would make it out of the war. But she had just found out she was pregnant, rather than upset him further, she did what he asked, and she never told him about their beautiful daughter.

After finishing his re-enlistment period, and trying to deal with the PTSD his horrible experiences left him with, Rafe returned home. Gavin recommended seeing a counselor at the VA. He didn’t bother to mention that Summer was now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, but had chosen to work as a counselor at the Veterans Administration in Richmond where she could help those who really needed her. Both of them loved each other. Would they get the second chance they deserved? Would he get the help he needed and be able to re-open his heart to the woman he loves and the daughter he created with her?

Wow, this book will touch the reader in so many ways. It was so good, the characters so loving and honorable, and their story so emotional. If you read no other book, make sure you get this one! It’s beautifully done and will pull you right into the story from the very first page.

A very enjoyable read.
Summer and Rafe had a short relationship when I suppose Summer was young and not so naive. She knew Rafe was not going to stick around for long but she enjoyed their time together while it lasted....she was just surprised to learn he had left more than she anticipated....a baby.
Several years later Rafe returns. And Summer is now left with an conundrum, Rafe is seeking help and interested in starting relations with Summer again, she is too but how can she tell him he is now a father?
A very sweet romance. Loved the characters, well written and the little girl Emma was a treasure.
Nicely done, I highly recommend this book!

This is the first book that i have read from Katy Kaylee and it was a quick and easy read and i was able to sit and read it this morning. It was the story of Summer and Rafe who 5 years ago had a quick fling and he left to go back to the military. He wasn't aware that that quick interlude lead to something more. When he left, he told her in a letter to live her life and she did. After 5 years, he comes back after serving and has some issues with PTSD and he starts to see Summer as a counselor. The story did have its ups and downs but I look forward to reading more of her work.

Can you have a second chance when you never gave the first one a real try?

First off let me say that I loved this story. Just Another Chance by Katy Kaylee is a story filled with so much emotion I barely know where to start. There is longing, lust, trepidation, love, friendship, family and those that are family but not by blood, duty, second chances, steamy and erotic, heartbreak, and so much more packed into this book.

This story centers around Rafe Buchanan and Summer Addison. Rafe is best friends and grew up with Summers older brother Gavin. When Summer reached puberty at 14 years old, me thinks that she was a really late bloomer, she developed a crush/love on Rafe that never stopped. Both Rafe and Gavin joined the Marines when they graduated high school and were deployed to separate units. Unfortunately Gavin was injured and came back home after losing a lower leg and with some major PTSD ad no coping skills.

Summer graduated from college and during the party found out that Rafe had come back to town to bury his grandmother who had raised him. Later during the party Summer slipped out and went to Rafe to see how he was doing. It was more like a moth being drawn to the flame and the fire ignited between the two with the result of some cherry popping taking place in the great outdoors. Turns out Rafe had developed a liking for Summer when she had turned 18 but he never acted on it. These two have a torrid 6 week affair with more heat than a nuclear explosion because Rafe was only home to deal with the estate. Only problem is that Rafe left a little present for Summer that he did not know about.

Fast forward to 5 years later and Rafe has left the Marines, is back living in the house he inherited trying to figure out how he fits into society with a case of PTSD. Lucky for Rafe he has Gavin as a friend who helps him get to the VA to sign up for some counseling. Rafe opens the door to see his counselor for the first time and sweet little Summer is on the other side much to each others surprise. The other surprise is that Summer has a beautiful daughter, Emma who is 4 years old. Summer has never told anyone who the father is other than he is a soldier who was deployed.

There is still a major moth to the flame going on between these two...........more like huge magnets that just can't seem to part from each other. But the kicker is how to you build a relationship together when there is not certainty and there are secrets. Can Summer and Rafe learn to not only love and desire each other but trust each other enough to bare themselves and their secrets.

I don't want to give more away about the book but it is an intricately woven and masterfully written story filled with good character development, true life situations and explanations told with heart, love and strength. I really enjoyed reading the journey of Summer, Rafe, Emma and the supporting characters which added a lot to the story.

I went through so many emotions as I read this book. It was totally worth that ride to get to the end and read the HEA at the end of this book. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about picking it up. Happy reading.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

One of the best stories I have ever read!

This is a story that needs to be made into a movie!

I thoroughly loved reading this book. I couldn't/wouldn't put it down till the end. This story has so many good things about it, it's amazing. It's a best friends sister, second chance and a secret baby romance story. It also had a serious side to it. In this story, Rafe and Gavin, Summer's brothers, are both veterans. They each have problems from being in war. Gavin was buried alive for 36 hours and lost the bottom half of a leg. Rafe was in a battle so bad, that he was one of the only ones alive. His dog saved his life at the expense of his own. They both have PTSD. In this story, you see what it is like from the solders' point of view with the issues they have after being in war and having to deal with civilian life afterwards.

Summer has always had a crush on her brother's best friend, but she was younger than them and she was curvy. As she got older, she still had the crush and wanted to help him however she could. When she gets her BS, her father throws a party at which her brother gets drunk and mean. She hears that Rafe is back because he lost his grandmother. She goes over to console him and one thing leads to another. They secretly see each other for the six weeks he is on leave. He leaves a day early and leaves her a note to tell her not to contact him and to go on with her life without him. She just found out that she was pregnant and was going to tell him. She realized that he was letting her go because he didn't think he was going to come out of the war alive. She didn't want to throw more problems his way, so she went ahead, finished getting her Masters and got on with her life.

Rafe was raised by his grandmother because his parents would rather drink and do drugs instead of taking care of him. She was his everything. When she passes away, he came back from the middle east to bury her and when Summer came over to console him, he couldn't help himself but to kiss her when she came up and hugged him. He had noticed and wanted her when she turned 18, but resisted. He couldn't resist now. He knew that her brother would beat him if he found he touched his sister, but he couldn't help it. He realized that he was in love with her, but he had nothing to offer her. He didn't think he would survive this next tour in the middle east. He was a canine handler where they sniffed out the bombs. Not the safest job. He had to cut her loose so she could have the life she deserved, a husband and children.

When he gets out of the service five years later, he comes back home. Gavin suggests that he goes to the VA and get some counseling, that it will help. What Gavin didn't tell him was that Summer was a counselor there. When he sees the picture of Summer's daughter there, it eats him up that some other man touched Summer and gave her a child, and then left her.

They were having a graduation party for Summer but her brother was getting so drunk and even though his high school sweetheart was trying to help he was in a downward spiral. He said that Rafe was home why wasn;t he here .He wasnt there because his grandma had died the only person he has in the world other than friends.Summer snuck out of her party one she didn;t really want and watching her brother going down wasnt something she could stand to watch. She walked three houses down an saw Rafe through the door looking so lost and alone. She knocked then walked in she said I knocked on so sorry Rafe.He asked if she wasnt supposed to be at her party she said she still had more school she wanted two help troubled children. To Rafe she was the most beautiful woman he;s ever seen.As they sit in the blanket they talk a little then they share into each others eyes.He says the things I was to do to you, your brother would kick my butt if he knew what I;m thinking right now.Summer leans into him kissing him for all ages woek. They end up sneaking around for the six weeks of his leave them the morning Summer finds out shes pregnant ,as she goes to tell Rafe she finds a note telling her to forget him but that he will forever carry a piece of her in his heart.Rafe thinks hes going to die this time. Its five years later Summer is a counselor for vets .She gets asked by another counselor to take a new patient before she even get to read his chart for n walks Rafe the only man shes ever loved the father of her daughter now hes back she doesnt know what to do.Summer really wants to run up an wrap her arms around him an kiss him senseless. I’m just having trouble trying to put into words how amazing this book was with its raw emotions that pulls you in and takes you on a ride that doesn’t let go even after you finish the book. My heart goes out to all the men and women who serve our countries and fight for our freedom and then some return home and struggle with PTSD and trying to fit back into a normal life and that’s what Rafe is going through and with the help of his sexy younger neighbor Summer he finds a ray light coming from her that draws him in but knowing all the while he is not staying and shouldn’t start anything with her but he cannot resist and takes her virginity and for six wonderful weeks they spend together just won’t be enough for either one of them but duty calls and he must leave but carn’t say goodbye to her but leaves a letter. Summer has just found out she is pregnant and rushes over to see Rafe but he was gone leaving her a letter telling her to forget him and move on with her life and don’t contact him. Now she is on her own and can’t tell anyone who the father is to there daughter Emma. How does this all work out now that Rafe is back in town after five yrs of being away and suffering PTSD, and should Summer and him get back together and try for a happy life or wait tell he is better and what will happen once the secret Summer has kept from him comes out. Read this outstanding book to find out the rest, you won’t be disappointed.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Summer and Rafe Buchanan. Summer thought that all she was to Rafe was Gavin's little sister but 4 years earlier that had all changed for him. Both Gavin and Rafe went off and joined the military. Both have come home one permanently and one only temporary but both are changed by war. Gavin lost his leg and came home angry and broken which is what prompted Summer to get her degree in psychology. Rafe however was just home on leave long enough to get his deceased grandmother's affairs in order. That leave gave them a time to connect like they never thought they would. Rafe had other plans though and left Summer with only a note. Now five years later he is back and never thought the one woman who helped him mentally through those long tours would be the one woman he needs even more now. Can these two get over what happened in the past to have a future or will the one thing Rafe left Summer with after that leave be all they will ever have?

This is a story that will take you on an emotional journey. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will grab you from the first page and not let go till the very end. This is one of those books that you will lock the door send everyone away till you read those two words "The End". I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Katy Kaylee does it again. She gives us another wonderful story full of romance and hot, hot, hot steam. I adored this book and would love to be able to give it many more than 5 stars. I was captivated from beginning to end and became heavily invested in the outcome of the story. “Just Another Chance” is about Summer and Rafe. Rafe is the best friend of Summer’s brother, Gavin. Gavin and Rafe joined the marines together, but neither of them returned from war the same man who left home to fight for his country. Summer becomes a counsellor to returned vets who are struggling to readjust. Summer and Rafe’s story is began 5 years ago, is complicated and full of love; the love of a partner and the love of a family. The author also touches on P.T.S.D. an issue faced by many returning veterans or really any individual who has had to deal with severe trauma. She addresses the issue with understanding, compassion, empathy and authority and gives hope to anyone who suffers from the, sometimes debilitating, condition. I highly recommend this book, as well as the many others, from Katy Kaylee that I’ve read in recent times. I absolutely guarantee that you love this book and this author as much as I do.

This book will break your heart in the beginning and middle and in the end, it will make your heart soar. This book contains everything and I mean absolutely everything needed for a great romance read. Brother's best friend - check, second chance - check, secret baby - check, military - check and of course the hot and steamy - check and check. Not only does this book contain all of this but it also has a well written story to pull you along through it all. Summer and Rafe have a past that wasn't meant to have a future but it was life changing for Summer. Summer not only managed to sleep with her brother's friend but also managed to get pregnant and has not ever told him. To be fair, Rafe went back into the military so not like he was around. That was four years ago, now Rafe is back and has issues with PTSD. Fate has put Summer back in Rafe's path to help him. Now what does she do? The heat is still there between them, can they get a second chance? What will happen when Summer tells him, he has a daughter? So many questions that you will need to read this awesome book to find out! It is so worth the read and more.

This is my first book from this author, and I like her style. I give this book 4.5 stars as it overdid it on certain aspects of the story, but overall it was good. This story is about Rafe and Summer. She has always had a crush on him and once he and her brother Gavin graduated high school, they both left to join the Marines. Gavin returned without a limb while Rafe was still in it but was home because his Memaw died.

On the day of her graduation party and his return home, Summer goes to see him to give him her condolences only to end up with him. As he knows he won’t come back unscarred, he lets her know via a letter to go on with her life and not wait up for him. After he leaves, she finds out that she is pregnant with his child but doesn’t inform him or her family. She goes on to live her life as he wanted and becomes a counselor for the VA. When he returns home, he is assigned to her for his counseling sessions to deal with his PTSD and this is where the story gets interesting. The story is emotional to say the least, but it revolves around the second chance that they both have to make things right.

Summer has been in love with her brothers best friend since she was fourteen. Both her brother and Rafe joined the army. Her brother came back broken and minus a leg. During her graduation from university party she learns Rafe is back for his grandmothers funeral. She goes over to see him and there by the lake she loses her virginity. For six wonderful weeks they spend their time making love. But he leaves to go back to the service and tells her to go on with her life. Five years later he returns, discharged with PTSD. She’s now a social worker and when they reconnect the sparks are there but can they overcome their obstacles?

Wow! This is one hot sexy book. The writer expertly weaves the steamy scenes into the storyline to enhance the plot not detract from it. The characters are amazing in their complexity and pop off the pages. The life stresses, obstacles and trauma the characters go through is heart wrenching. The writer puts them through an emotion roller coaster that had me in tears both happy and sad. The dialogue is moving and the book overall is inspiring. It is also a very sexy read. If you like romance with some heat then you will love this book.

This book could pass as some one’s true story. Just Another Chance was a beautifully written second chance romance about Summer and Rafe who have known each other forever and Summer has always had a secret crush on Rafe. Rafe is Summer’s brothers’ best friend, but this isn’t your typical brothers best friend bro code romance, it’s so much more. Both Rafe and Gavin joined the military after they graduated, but were deployed different places, but one thing they both have in common is PTSD.
Summer is celebrating her college graduation when she learns that Rafe has returned home due to the loss of his grandmother, so she decides to pay her respects to him. Well what happens after that is where you just have to pick the book up an find out because I promise you that you won’t be disappointed. I loved all of the characters and what each one had to bring to the story.
This story touches on so many things, death, deceit, abandonment, PTSD, regret, the feeling of not being worthy of love and the feeling of being in love with lots of steam I will have to say the way Katy touched on PTSD really touched me.

So much to cover so let's just touch base on what is important and you can take it from there.

-Brothers best friend~ so in other words off limits.
-Rafe returns home from the marines to deal with his grandmas estate and Summer decides to visit and give him support a friend does. But these two have been fighting an attraction for awhile and fighting it fails big time. Six beautiful weeks together and Rafe returns to being an MP in the marines. His final words: move on and don't try to contact me. You're better off.
-Home and not facing Rafe he runs into her while seeking help at the vets center, in which now Summer is a counselor there. Feelings never fade but there is a major secret she is not sharing.

Now this is just the first few layers of the story so you really have to read on but I will say that the author shared touching details of the ordeal our vets suffer with when it comes to the PTSD that follows them home. That alone had my heart beating in overtime. Summer had her reasons for waiting to share her secret. Where they right? Wrong? Maybe a bit of both. Summer is a strong character who one can only respect. Rafe is strong, intelligent and good. Together their story is amazing. I highly recommend this one to readers of all genre.

Summer was always Gavin's little sister, until she wasn't. Rafe was her first, but he broke her heart when he left and asked her not to contact him. She raises their daughter alone, and with some help from her family, manages to complete her education. As a result of her brother's PTSD, she decides to work with returning soldiers at the VA. Rafe returns from the service, broken and unsure of his direction in life. The only bright spot in most days is the time he spends with Summer. Emma is totally smitten with him as well. Summer knows that she needs to tell Rafe that Emma is his, but isn't sure how to do it, and doesn't want to get Emma's hopes up until she's certain that Rafe is going to stick around. Gavin figures out Summer's secret, and Rafe overhears their discussion. This is the last straw for him, and he takes off. Someone in his support group gives him an earful to think about, and they work on their HEA. I loved this story - the characters were well-developed, and believable. It was a wonderful second chance for both Rafe and Summer.

This is the second book in the series. Each book can be read as a stand-alone as they aren’t connected.

In this book we have Rafe, who is best friends with Gavin, while they have been growing up. Gavin has a little sister, Summer, who was always the annoying tag along. When Summer, turns 18, Rafe starts to notice she isn’t the annoying little girl any more, she’s grown up into a beautiful young lady.

Rafe is on leave for 6 weeks to go home and bury his grandmother, and to settle her affairs. He wasn’t looking to be with Summer. Rafe leaves to go back to the Marines. He left her a note stating that he didn’t want her to wait on him.

Rafe comes back home after serving his country for 5 yrs. Summer has finished her masters degree and is working full time with a rewarding career. Gavin has cleaned up his act and has come back into society after being a drunk for numerous years.

Summer kept something from Rafe she had no right to keep from him. However, he did tell her to forget about him. I’m sure she could have reached out to him.

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book from Booksprouts. I am freely leaving a honest review.

SPOILERS*

The first thing I want to talk about is the PTSD aspect of the story. It was exceedingly well done and clearly well researched. From triggers to coping mechanisms I found both Rafe and Gavin’s experiences realistic and emotional. Summer and Rafe’s relationship and the resulting child, Emma, was sweet without being too saccharine. I find that lots of writers either make a child character too precocious or sweet, but she was realistic, and I found the relationship between Rafe and Summer realistic, genuine and the sex scenes steamy without being pornorific.
My only issue is with the secretiveness around Emma’s parentage. I just think that Rafe would have at least been suspicious and Summer’s reasoning behind keeping it under wraps was out of character. It was touched upon that she may have her own abandonment issues, and that could have been expanded upon to make her secrecy more in keeping.

Overall, though, a truly enjoyable book and one of my favourites from this author.

Ugh. I’m having a tough time with this one, because there were definitely some interesting elements to the story, but ultimately it regressed to being porn - featuring a heroine who made a pretty huge and unflattering mistake. First things first though, the story is about Summer and Rafe, two people who have known each other for most of their lives. Rafe is Summer’s brother’s best friend, and she developed feelings for him once she became a teenager. When Rafe comes home on leave from the military, they have sex (unprotected, so we all know what that means), and they have a secret affair until it’s time for him to return to the military. Rafe believes he won’t come back from the military unscathed - if at all - so he writes Summer a letter and tells her to move on. Five years later, Rafe comes back into the picture, seeing Summer again for the first time. Only now Summer is a mother, and Rafe is experiencing some PTSD, so the situation is much different than it was in the past.

While there is a TON of sex in this book, at first it wasn’t overwhelming, and I really thought it might turn into a nice story about PTSD and healing after returning home from the military. There were definitely elements of that, and I appreciated that aspect of the story quite a bit. It was all of the other stuff that ultimately deteriorated the book for me - I won’t give away spoilers here, but Summer definitely doesn’t come off in the most flattering light. The sex also got to be way too much, going from sex scene to sex scene. I didn’t hate the writing style, and I could definitely see potential in the story, but it was jarring to go from the military storyline to all the sex to the other subplot and back repeatedly. Unfortunately, the potential for a great book was there but the execution wasn’t.

Summer leaves her college graduation party to go over and check on Rafe when she learns that he is in town because his grandmother passed. Rafe doesn't know that anything was going on because he was so wrapped up in his grief so he was surprised when Summer appeared. Summer has always had a crush on him and takes this chance to be with him. They have an amazing night together. Rafe knew he was going back into a war zone so he leaves a note for Summer and sneaks away. Summer is upset but understand Rafe's reasoning however he left a little bit of himself behind. Now years later Summer runs into him at a VA hospital she works at and they reconnect. What will Rafe do or say when he learn that she had his child while he was away? Will he still want to be with her?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Just Another Chance by Katy Kaylee was an emotional read with some passion, drama and romance. I absolutely enjoyed this book it was well developed and had a incredible storyline. The characters were very interesting and quite likable. We have Summer and Rafe who have great chemistry. It’s been five years since Summer has seen Rafe, the last time they were together it was when he took her innocence and then went away and told her to live the best life she could. She did go on with her life but with a special gift from Rafe. Now they have come face to face at the clinic where Summer works as a counselor who helps marines who suffer from PTSD. This is where The story grabs you and keeps you hooked till the last word. I absolutely loved this story and this author has really become one of my favorites. I hope you will enjoy this great book has much as I did. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Although I enjoyed the "conflicted" relationship Rafe and Summer shared, I had a problem with the down and dirty, repetitious sex scenes as well as the offensive religious references. That being said, I admired the fact that Summer protected her 4 year old daughter by not revealing her existence until she could discover what kind of man (PTSD??) and reliable father Rafe could potentially be. I also liked that Rafe learned if you tell someone to move on, after you dump them, you can't get angry when they do.

A great second chance romance that will warm your heart. Lots of themes combined in this one, military, brother's best friend, etc. Likable characters and an engaging story. Grab some Kleenex because you'll need them. No cliffhanger and a sweet HEA. I read an arc via Booksprout. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
