Four years ago, Annabelle James made a shocking discovery. With the fate of her loved ones at stake, she did what she thought she had to do. She ran. The past however, has a funny way of finding those who refuse to face it. With nowhere left to turn, she ended up back where she started, facing the family she’d left behind and the truths she desperately wanted to remain hidden. When the president of The Devil’s Reapers sends his enforcer to pick something up, the last thing Blade expected to find was the one who got away. Annabelle was everything a man like him could never have, and everything he’d always wanted. With the past rearing its ugly head once again, he will do everything he can to keep her safe and make her his. Caught in a war between two clubs, Annabelle must face the past once and for all.

I really enjoyed Blade's story. I read it in 24 hours, I couldn't put it down. One of things that I liked about this story was the couple was together very very early on in the book but they didn't have sex until the very end. Then entire book you watch them grow as individuals and as a couple. They go through hell but they don't give up on each other. It was sweet, had some comedic moments, and was gritty. I loved it.

I can't wait to read Samson.

***NEW TO ME AUTHOR***

Since I had never read anything from this author before I was not at all sure what they writing style would be like. But I knew that I have recently started to love MS novels so I thought I would give it a shot! I am so glad that I did! This was so freaking good!!! Blade was in love with Annabelle for YEARS! And now that she has come back he plans to take his chance with her.... which could be a mess for him since her dad is the Prez! (yikes!) Besides their romance there was such a great story happening with the whole MC. There is a bunch of suspense and action in this book! There was never a dull moment and I did not want to put it down! For being a BIG bad biker, Blade has got a really sweet and sensitive side (that he only lets Annabelle see). I really enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to getting more stories from the other members of this MC..... there are so many interesting people that I would LOVE to get to know more!!!

Just good

Loved Annabelle. Such a strong person. I'm glad the author made her grow up in the book. Blade is a good person for her and understands what Annabelle needs. Thanks for the round up at the end for domestic violence.
I think the book would have been better if there was a bit less foul language but that's just me. There are alot of errors in the book, both spelling and grammar. Maybe it's just how Sunny wants them to talk. I don't know. I'll try out Samson's book. Hope its it's better.

The Devil’s Reaper:Blade

Sunny Mawson has written an emotionally charged MC story that has you reading as fast as you can to find out the next hurdle her characters have to jump!

Learning about the past four years, since the daughter of the prez has been hiding, we share the agony of Blade’s heartfelt need to make Annabelle’s world safe and full of love.

Surprise: things don’t go smoothly!

Enjoy this third book that Sunny has written! I did!

Great read

I haven’t been crazy about MC books due to the level of violence that is in most of them. Sunny is a new author to me and I have to say Blade and Annabelle are perfect together. I need more. Sampson?

Good!

At times, I got a little bored with the story but, for the most part, the plot and the characters were great and kept me engaged in what was going to happen.

An MC with heart!

I connected easily with the characters. The plot moved forward with ease. I enjoyed the bit of mystery that clung to the characters.

First . . . I am in the minority on this book.
It has the potential to be a good book.
It just needs a good editor and publisher . . . Or a non related or friend of the author to give some impartial advice.
Too many loose ends . .
A lot of storylines started and dropped into nothing . . . just dropped.
Plot needs work with . . .an eye for having a complete critical though process . . . beginning, reaction and completeness of a well thought out outline to begin with.

So this is my first time reading this author. And I really liked this book. My issue was it felt like the beginning was missing. And because of that, there wasn’t the initial character development. It was boom your in the story. It would’ve been nice to “live” through some of her backstory with her. Not all of it, but yes some. I will definitely read this author again.

while I did finish this one, I felt like it was missing something.. the story was great, but it needed a bit more...i'm probably being biased, but it just felt like it was lacking an extra layer of oomph that makes a great book grab you and wring you dry. I'm hoping the next book will be a bit deeper, and look forward to reading it soon.

Better late than never

What a great story. Love and heartbreak, overcoming ever obstacle, learning to trust and have hope again, finding yourself and being strong when you have to and ask for help even when you don’t want to. This story has all of the feels and makes you fall in love with this MC! I will definitely read the rest of this series!

Exhausting

This book has great potential but I'm exhausted from either all the back and forth issues, trying to find out what happen to some characters and the 2 main characters. I'm at 50% and need a break. I might finish it but I'm gonna read another book now. Sorry.
