Made-wolf. Changeling. Shifter.

Violet
Whatever she called it, Violet still had trouble accepting that she was a werewolf. All she ever wanted was to be a teacher. Teaching shifter children? Not even on her radar. Until her former fiance tried to kill her and the pack alpha changed her to save her life.

Phillip
As a former Huntsman and a human, Phillip has been taught to hunt and kill wolf shifters. Now, he's learned shifters aren't the killers he was taught they were. He's surprised to find himself drawn to a wolf shifter, even if she was recently human. But her gorgeous red hair and dark, mysterious eyes pull him to her.

Can Phillip convince her that he's the mate for her?

This story occurs during the first half of book 11 in the Texas Ranch Wolf Pack Series, Wolf's Guard.

Wow! “Wolf’s Mate” is another wonderful PNR, clean must read story from the phenomenal world of the ‘Texas Ranch Wolf Pack’ series! Each & every story has a different plot with amazing relatable characters and witty dialogue that are all connected, so I do advise reading them in order but I know you’ll love them all like I do! ... Always great descriptions and some surprise twists that will have readers turning pages like crazy! I was hooked from page one, right thru this short story & then didn’t want it to end :( I highly recommend this whole series to fans of fiction & can’t wait for more from Ms. Nodima, but of course I will definitely wait :D

This was the perfect read to fill up my lunchtime with some Texas Ranch Wolf Pack goodness. It's a bit of a story in a story giving voice to some of the minor characters lives within Wolf's Guard, the latest book. If you've read the series, you've seen the connection developing between Phillip and Violet and this quick read tells about the beginning of their relationship. It was fun to read and I'm looking forward to more of these little stories.

This was a nice boy-next-door-meets-girl-next-door story, which is a strange but appropriate way to describe a sweet contemporary version of Red Riding Hood (with Miss Hood also being a wolf). This was a sweet little love story that I would shelve with Laura Greenwood's Grimm Academy and Once Upon an Academy books - fun, lighthearted and just short enough to devour during my lunch hour.

A great short story

I have really enjoyed this short story, but I wish that this information either would have been available in the related book, or suggested to be read prior to reading it. I think that everyone could have benefited more from having read this and the other short stories either during or before everything evolved. JMO
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

Great Short Read

Violet and Phillip are attracted to each other. Violets wolf is sure that Phillip is their mate. She is not as sure, although she likes him a lot. Will they be able to surmount her fears? I look forward to more stories.
