Yes and what an exception she turned out to be!
Somethings our families can do against us has lasting consequences. The actions of Dr. Shawn's twin brother caused him to have to pull up stakes and move to a different country. Suffering from one night of a drunken mistake, Portia finds herself in his office experiencing a miscarriage. Seeing a male OB/GYN doctor Portia rejects him until her condition takes the decision out of her hands. Attracted to each other both try to keep their distance to no avail. Things are progressing swimmingly until Shawn's twin shows up and adds a different brand of drama to the mix. The twin with issues almost messed everything up for Shawn and Portia except the truth was exposed in the nick of time thus paving the way for Shawn and Portia to pursue a life together. I enjoyed this story especially the twists and turns that kept me guessing at the outcome!

The plot twist had me weak!
Did not see that coming at all just just thought someone had lied on him didn't realize it was because he had a whole identical twin. Chile Nia keeps me on my toes and I do not know how she does it but I commend her approach and look forward to reading the rest of the Caribbean crush series.

This was a quick read. Short and sweet. There is little character development and there were a lot of details woven into the plot for convenience.
I prefer more in depth stories, but this may satisfy those looking for a quick read.

TWINS: THAT'S ALL IT TOOK.
One woman, love, twin brother being cheated on. That's just the start of a except store. Only difference for me I love books but I do not always follow the series. Only if the picture on the copy makes the book interesting to me.

Enjoyed reading the novel.
Love isn’t meant to be easy, but if it was it might not be as rewarding. Enjoyed reading the novel. The main characters seemed realistic and the reader wants their romance to succeed. Recommended

Sweet short story
This was a good story but seemed to move slow. Shawn had a history that made him cautious in his pursuit.

I really wanted to like this book but both characters had a series of, to me, very strange hangups and reactions. I just couldn't get into it and put it down.

The ending was rushed, but the overall story was cute. So cute that I decided to read the 2nd story. I really liked the characters.

I get that he has an 'evil' twin but there's something about Shawn I still don't like. I'm not feeling this match up.

This book definitely packed a lot in for it to be a novella. No s*x in this book. But there were definitely some twists that I didn’t see coming.
