The Neighborhood Convict is a page turner! This one peaked my interest from the beginning, and I could not put it down. I loved Wyatt, and I loved seeing Maggie grow into herself. Can’t wait to see what happens next in this series!
Wyatt is just a guy who fell into the wrong crowd. When he’s released from prison he plans to live a drama free life. In comes Maggie and she worries too much about appearances. They show everyone that it doesn’t matter where you’ve been. What’s important is where you’re going.
The perfect addition to the neighborhood- Wyatt! Recently released from doing time, he stumbles upon none other than the Neighborhood. Maggie works as the realtor in town and helps the boys with their expansion plans. Unfortunately she has a close minded mother who is anything but polite! Loved this story and how these two responded to one another! My favorite of the series!
I love the little town of Mercy and The Neighborhood Bar. Tarrah Anders has created a great group of people in this setting and they make you feel like you're one of them!
Wyatt, recently released from prison, may have gotten lucky when he walks into The Neighborhood Bar and a new opportunity falls at his feet. Because he had quite a few tattoos, he stood out from the norm and while most everyone accepted him for who he was, there were a few who struggled with his appearance. Anders did a great job weaving a little lesson into the story about not judging people for their looks. She also added in a budding romance with the neighborhood real estate agent, Maggie, that gave the story a bit of spark.
If The Neighborhood Bar were a real place, I'd love to visit because it just feels so inviting. They're always there to lend an ear or a helping hand.
These neighborhood installments are fun to read and the perfect length. If you're new to this series, I would suggest starting at the beginning, but Anders does do a pretty good job giving you an insight on the other characters with each new story. So, pull up a bar stool and grab a beer. Five neighborhood stars!
This is book four in The Neighbourhood series. Deliliah's brother Wyatt has served his time in prison and is being released. He moves into his grandfather's house in Mercy to start his new life. He had an exciting first week as a free man and by the end of it, he has new friends, a job and even has a girlfriend and meets her parents. A great quick story that can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend getting to know all the folks in Mercy.

This is book four in The Neighborhood series and a freaking awesome addition. Wyatt is an ex com just released from prison. He has no problems admitting he was young and dumb and has grown up. Gets a job at The Neighborhood, the local bar. Maggie is the real estate agent in town. They are great characters and I love being able to keep up with characters from previous books. Recommend this book and this series I received a free copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review

I enjoyed reading Wyatt and Maggie's story. The wrong choice and wrong friend got Wyatt sent to prison. Upon release, he moves to Mercy and into the house his grandfather left to him and his sister. The famous people of The Neighborhood take him in and he finds his place. Maggie is the local realtor and her and Wyatt have major chemistry. Of course. there is some drama that makes things challenging. I am really liking this series. Looking forward to the next book.
This is the fourth book in the series and is my favorite so far. This is Wyatt and Maggie's story these two meet after he is released from prison after some dumb stuff he did when he was younger he has definitely learned his lesson though and is looking to start over. He meets Maggie who is a real estate agent and the attraction is immediate they really are great together but not everyone is willing to believe he has changed.
This is a super short read in the series. It's hot and steamy and absolutely worth the read! This is book 4 in the series and they are all just as good!

Wyatt was in the wrong place at the wrong time.... However he's done his time and wants a quiet calm life now..... That is until Maggie comes busting into his world .... it starts as casual and ends up being so much more... I love how we get glimpses of all the past characters as more books come along... I love how Luke and Noah have so much faith in Wyatt ..... It's like one big happy dysfunctional family, that just keeps growing ....
I really liked this quick read. The characters were charming and really enjoyed how they flirted and the drama that went along with their relationship and I could not put it down. This is perfect as a stand along however I will be looking into the rest of the series after reading this one.
Your Neighborhood Convict by Tarrah Anders. Good plot, strong characters, drama, dual POV and HEA. Everything I look forward to in the romance novels I like to read.

A well written, enjoyable read. This story is about starting over and finding that one person. The story will keep you interested till the end. The characters are likeable and great chemistry,

Wyatt and Maggie may not be what either were expecting but the attraction is there. Book 2 of this series is still my favorite so far but this is cute with heart and heat and worth the read. It also had a moral - don't judge a book by the cover. This is an easy, couple of hours novella.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Wyatt fits in with The Neighborhood crowd easily, a bit too easily. Not realistic for an ex con to be trusted so quickly, but it works for the instalove crowd. He's very likable and humble, taking a busboy job without complaint and dealing with old biddies' derogatory comments. Fun story with familiar characters and a very quick read. I received an early copy, review given voluntarily.
Wyatt moves to Mercy after his prison stint. His first stop was the Noah's Bar. Noah offers him a job as a buser dishwasher. As Wyatt establishes himself in Mercy, he meets Maggie. Maggie is the realtor who tried to sell his grandfather home. She decides she wants to know Wyatt. As they have a fling they learn about each other. He is looked down upon by the uppity because of his tattoos and being a convict. Maggie is the dutiful daughter to her conniving mother. Will she stand up to her Mother as she falls in love with Wyatt? Will Wyatt fit in and make friends in Mercy? Read this book to find out. Another great book in the Neighborhood Series.
Wyatt may have done a dumb thing in his youth but he's definitely reformed and ladies...he's going to make you trip hard for him.
He ends up in a small town and in that town he lands into a bar where he is about to have his life changed.
He's offered a job and he meets a realtor, Maggie, who is quite a character. These two are about to give the reader quite a story.
Visit THE NEIGHBORHOOD, stay for the stories you will hear because they are worth grabbing a cold one and enjoying. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
I wasn’t sure what to think of Maggie at first. I mean, Wyatt had learned a stupid lesson the hard way and he’s now finding his way in life while breathing free for the first time in years, and then comes this strange woman. Is she crazy? Is she just eclectic? Is she a coward? Is she embarrassed by him? I loved finding out the answer for Maggie’s odd behavior and REALLY liked Wyatt’s response to a certain person pushing for information about him. Wyatt is definitely a good guy and fits in well with the Neighborhood crowd!
Coming from a small town myself I know exactly how true it is when a new face shows up, the whole town notices. So it’s no wonder that when the tattooed “bad boy” Ex-Con showed his face that the towns one and only realtor took notice. Quickly forming a connection these two struggle with the judgmental closed minds of a small town and the want to be together. Sexy and funny, Convict is a great addition to the series! -Mackenzie

Wyatt made a stupid mistake, and paid for it with six years in prison. He's out now, living in his grandfather's house in Mercy. With nothing else to do, he heads to the local bar, where he meets Noah (Your Neighborhood Bartender), who offers him a job. Rhiannon (Your Neighborhood Vixen) is a waitress at The Neighborhood, and introduces Wyatt to his fiance, Luke. Luke, a doctor, is planning to open some sort of entertainment business, and enlists Wyatt and Noah to help advise him. When they look at a property, Wyatt meets Maggie. They become friends with benefits, but her mother hates Wyatt. I love this book, and love how the author is weaving prior stories into the next books. All the stories are easy to read, steamy, and just long enough. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

This is the 4th book in the Your Neighborhood series. It was a great story and very well written. It was completely from Wyatt's perspective so his character was more deeply developed than Maggie, however insight into both was definately present. It was easy to get engrossed in Wyatt's story, and remain enthrolled throughout the book. The chemistry between Wyatt and Maggie was evident, as was some bias and judgement. Would their attraction over-ride what others thought?

This book was an enjoyable read. It did lack some depth and character development. It was a quick, easy to read book. There was some hot and steamy scenes. It is a stand alone book in the series and can be read without reading the others first.
I received a free ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved Wyatt & Maggie's story. You can't help but love the characters. I couldn't put this one down. Am voluntarily leaving an honest review for a free copy of the book via booksprout.
Get ready to for this next addition to the Neighborhood.
Wyatt is uncomplicated and just wants to stay away from drama, he's had enough of it. You'll want this reformed bad boy in your life too, pick it up on all book retail sites on July 31st, 2019.
Okay I will admit it...........I am in love with Wyatt. I mean here is a man who did some really stupid things, paid the price for it, readily owns what he did, wants to start over in a small town and is a semi bad boy with tattoos!!!
Once again Tarrah Anders has done herself proud with the latest book in The Neighborhood series. You Neighborhood Convict tells the story of Wyatt, only from his POV, who has just gotten out of prison and lands in Mercy living at the house he and his sister inherited from their grandfather. He just wants a simple life keeping out out trouble and with no drama. He lucks into getting job offer on his first night from Noah, owner of The Neighborhood bar, to be a busser and dishwasher. Noah snaps it up as he is not above taking what is offered to him and working hard to keep it. Shortly he is meets others in the Neighborhood world including Maggie. Maggie is an interesting young woman. She is the local real estate agent for Mercy, likes to have a good time, is careful of protecting her privacy and not giving fodder for the towns gossip mill, comes from a richer family in Mercy and really wants to get with the Wyatt, where his tattoos do not rule him out! But she is not willing to spend the night so Wyatt is a bit confused but then not so much when he pieces it together. I mean what is a man to think when the woman he just gave a great time to is pulling on her clothes and heading for the door before he can even get the condom off.
Maggie's mother is a real "ball buster" and has her own set of issues including the common talent of judging people based on how they look and not who they are. Wyatt does stand up for himself and puts a foot down on Maggie. The poor girl just wants her Wyatt and to eat him too. But she can't have everything she wants and finally has to grow up which entails standing up.
I really liked this very engaging story. Once I started reading I did not put it down as I wanted to see what would happen next, all smart mouths, drunken ramblings, clothes being dropped all of the floor and the pure sweetness of Wyatt and Maggie together. My only complaint is that the story ends fairly abruptly and it would have been nice to see a bit more of them and their hopefully HEA, as we are left wondering what the future has in store for these two.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Another quick Neighborhood Series Read. It is entertaining and deals with the stigma and preconceived attitude of people who see a man with tattoos and as an ex-con unfavorable company. Such is the mindset of Maggie’s mother. Wyatt and Maggie are attracted to each other and have hooked up several times but she never spends the night for fear of what the folks of Mercy will say. When Wyatt was younger, he made some bad choices for friends and got swept up in their dirty deeds and ended up in prison. Now that he has been paroled he wants to start a new life. He realizes the mistakes he made and is a new man, not one to repeat those mistakes. I loved It!

Entertaining from start to finish. With this being a novella, not a lot of time is wasted on tiny details: we get the reason why Wyatt was in prison right up front, and i was even more impressed that Wyatt didn't hide from his less than savory past; he owned up to his past choices and was determined to make a fresh start. I liked the way some of the characters from the previous books make an appearance in this story, and pretty much accept Wyatt from the start. Of course there's always going to be those who judge people based on preconceived notions, but what matters in the end is how your potential other half accepts all of the parts that make you who you are.
