Alex Lowe, one-of-a-kind werewolf mage, barely survived the last psychotic mage attack and now they’re back at it again.
Facing off against the resurrected dead, insane pain mages, and trying to get a grasp on writing a spell that doesn’t tear his head off, Alex is struggling to stay alive.
The wolf inside him has a rage that wants to take over, but he knows an all-out attack on his enemies could end up with them all dead.
To complicate things, he can’t keep his hands off his mates, Juno and Nia, a Chaos Witch and werewolf respectively. There’s also the little problem of April, their half-nymph, half earth elemental friend who his wolf wants to feast upon...

I really enjoy this series, it’s nonstop from beginning to end. The world created seems like it could be real. It’s just a fun series to read and I can’t wait for the next book.
When I started reading these I had such high hopes. The idea is awesome but the execution is terrible. The characters are cut and dry and everything else falls a little flat in the details. Well, except the sex scenes. I'm starting to wonder if this series was written by a high school student and whom ever proof reads it failed freshman English. Or maybe they didnt care about all of the mistakes with grammar. I really love the story but if these books weren't free with Kindle Unlimited, I would take the books back and demand my money back. Come on man, this series deserves better than this.
The original book was called by many a derivative of book 1 of the Valens Legacy, but this story has deviated further away from that comparison and is enjoyable in its own right. The only issue was some poor grammar and typos that distracted a bit from the story, but not enough to loose a rating star (I have read worse). It’s an enjoyable read as Alex expands his magical powers and abilities and becomes more integrated into werewolf culture. Eagerly awaiting more.
So confused cover aside This series is actually quite good lots of fun with an interesting and fast paced story line the characters are likeable and the world building while a little generic is well written and that’s not a bad thing. As long as the author slows down the OP soon and no more ladies come along I can totally get into this series for the long haul.
This is a good book, and I am looking forward to the next in the series. That said, there were a lot of gramatical and editing errors, particularly in the second half of the book. It was enough to pull me out of the story as I tried to parse the fractured sentences. Overall, a solid book, in need of a little polishing.
Much better than the first book, which wasn't bad. But the expansion of the world and was very good. The subtle plot twists and what is been set up for future books seems interesting and is not predictable.
The book was good. Would have been great had the grammar errors been fixed. There are words missing, out of order, or completely wrong. Fix the mistakes already and make this book better.
A great continuation of the story line from book one with hints given concerning the reasons for the constant conflict the young protagonist of the story seems fated to endure. I strongly recommend this book and am waiting impatiently for book #3.
Good read. Bit short but a good read. Looking forward to more from this author. Hopefully he sorts his syystem out though. MC bit underpowered considering his wofe far outstripes him in power. Which is weird considering he has multiple sources to draw from and store
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was entertaining and balanced out the plot and character development with the action. Good thing the next book is already released, with the ending of this one. I'm definitely interested to see where the story goes!!!
Harry Nix's take on the Werewolf genre is refreshing and captivating. I love his design and look of what they represent. As a lover of wolves and weres I am very much excited to continue this journey.
Seriously enjoying this series.. About halfway through book 2 I went on Amazon and bought the whole series. Gonna binge read them this week. Definitely worth checking out.
I'm really loving this series - no joke, I blew though all five books in two days. Plot carries well and the family unit makes you miss home. I'll have more in depth reviews at book six and forward, but for now keep reading!
