This is the second book in this Shark's Edge. The story continues. In this second book, Sebastian is finally opens up to Abby. It is so cute to see how unsure Sebastian really are when it comes to Abby.
Miss Payne once again done a good job portraying confident Sebastian into a vulnerable Sebastian.

More secrets, more twist/ plot, more drama. The drama is sufficient. It is not too much nor too little. I like the whole dynamic between Sebastian and Abby. I also curious about Grant. The writing is good. the banter is hilarious. Again, I like Sebastian. He is the hero of the whole story.

Overall a very good book.

Oh Sebastian Shark what a tangled web you weave!!! I cannot praise this series enough, these are simply perfection. I want a Sebastian in my life, I don't care that he is cocky, arrogant, an a**hole, but, a goddess in bed. This man has so many secrets until Abbigail had better RUN. She is so innocent but, the heart wants what the heart wants and hers what's Bas!
I'm not sure if I will survive until, Book 3 comes out. I am in LOVE with this series and Angel Payne and Victoria Blue are amazing authors, love them.

update (12/18/19): Again I find myself updating you with more LOL I wasn't going to this time for real. I was going to wait until Shark's Rise published and then go crazy but ...

Okay, so I only thought the story was a lot when I read Shark’s Edge. Ya’ll, it’s child’s play compared to what’s to come … buckle up!

At about 25% this happened … "I See Dead People" and then we all drank tea (what is happening?!) lololol I knew then I needed to just let the journey happen and enjoy the crazy. I’m not using the word crazy as a derogatory word, only to try and emphasize that this is not your everyday romantic suspense. Or maybe I just don’t read enough romantic suspense stories *shrug* who knows. LOL All I know is that if you looked up the phrase “one step forward two steps back” it would just say Sebastian and Abbigail trying to be happy! These two met trouble at every corner. And I had a heck of a time reading it all. This story is exhilarating and a bit absurd and very satisfying to my girlie parts! #triplewin

I’m happy to report that the conflicts of this story, as many as there were, did not take away from the romance build between Abbi and Bas. Honestly, both of them had me swooning one minute and wanting to throat punch the next. The unpredictability of it all kept me glued to my kindle but I was also invested in these two. I wanted them to succeed. They are incredible people. So different yet two pieces of a whole. It's amazing what these two ladies have created.

This is still not the end so don’t unbuckle your seat belts quite yet. I have a feeling things are about to get next level epic! I cannot say this loud enough, these two ladies keep impressing me beyond my expectations with every word I read ….as I always say, do with that as you will :)

If you're wondering why 4 and not 5 star rating still at the end of book 2 ... well, it all comes down to the end. Not the cliffhanger. That's expected and I was ready for it. I wasn't happy with Abbigail. In my opinion, she was a brat about the whole thing and it didn't fit her character at that point. She's done a lot of growing so far in this journey and it just made me #twitchy to read how bratty she was about what needed to be done *shrug* just an opinion

Our Abbigail has really got her claws deep under his skin and he can't seem to escape these new found feelings, but is their bond unbreakable?

With having to discover who is out to destroy Sebastian is anyone truly safe?

A fantastic follow on story keeping you on the edge of you seats.

Shark’s Pride is book 2 in this new endeavor by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue. I cannot adequately express how much I am loving this series! Book one was excellent and book 2 is even better than it was! I am confident that my kindle will melt during book 3. Sebastian and Abbigail are still trying to find their way together, while trying to figure out who is wanting to bring Bas down. Can he protect Abbi while they work to figure out the enemies he has made?
Congratulations to Angel Payne and Victoria Blue! Bravo, ladies!!!! What an impressive writing duo they are together! They bring to this story crazy intense chemistry, heat, suspense, mystery, passion, and great secondary characters. I am beyond ready for Rise to find out what is next. This is 5 stars for sure.

So much happy new love and discovery are shadowed by someone who is out to bring down Sebastian. Abbigail's strong sense of self and weak belief in his feelings for her are a battle Sebastian has to wage to get her to see his truth.

But, unexpected houseguests could put her in danger and he can't let that happen. Horrible happenings have them looking harder for the enemy.

I love the fire from and between these two. Their friends are rocks even when they are at odds with them. There are those outside the circle I am highly suspicious of. There is one character I truly do not like at all. The story is building to a crescendo and Sebastian makes a move that may rip them completely apart. I am holding my breath Angel Payne & Victoria Blue!

Oh Holy One help me! This book is everything...

It picked right up where, Shark's Edge left off, and boy howdy, how this book affected me.

The connection between, Bas and Abbi is so strong, it's crazy. It has my emotions all over the place. I'm crying real tears for these two. Now, I have to know what happens in, Shark's Rise. But I guess, I'll have to wait along with you to find out.

5 stars is no where near enough for this book!

Fabulous!!!!

Shark's Pride is the second installment of the Shark's Edge series, and it seriously does not disappoint. I love the relationship that Bas and Abbi have developed, and their banter is the very best. There is some serious hot sexy delightful loving, along with intrigue and exploration into Bas's past and his feelings. Abbi is his sunshine, his happiness, and he will do anything to protect her. Someone wants to ruin and discredit Bas and everything he has worked so hard for. Bas is an ultimate Alpha man who does have a soft spot for his Abbigail. I truly love how fierce Abbi is when she feels Bas is being threatened. Together they are one formidable couple who are finding out about love and feelings while dealing with conflict. Go Abbi for standing by her man when the going gets icky! The secondary characters add so much to the story and add humor and spice to this story. An entirely entertaining emotional second book and am so very excited to see what happens in Shark's Rise, the third book in this series. A very fantabulous read! When Sebastian and Abbi are unable to deny the chemistry between them it looks like they are finally ready to acknowledge the feelings between them until they separated and insecurity and doubt creeps in. Sebastian is determined to prove to Abbi that he wants more than a physical relationship with her and that means ensuring that she isn’t caught in the crossfire by his enemies.

Full of emotion and heat Sebastian is steadfast in his goal to protect Abbi while Abbi shows her strength and resilience and is determined to stand by her man. The drama and suspense escalate into a cliffhanger that leaves us wanting to know what the future holds in store for this couple.

No words that I add to this review will do this book justice. The chess match between Sebastian and Abbi could not be written better - this was simply a masterpiece. Emotional overload, heart wrenching realizations from Sebastian who has always hidden behind his walls, hot as hell sex scenes and the twists and turns the murders and suicides mysteries take just blows my mind. I was pulled in from the opening chapter and was shell shocked at the end to see where this story goes next. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars!!

The Shark's Edge series just keeps getting better. This is my favorite series of 2019!!

Shark's Pride kept me on the edge of my seat. This book takes Sebastian and Abigail on a new journey that is dangerous and thrilling. It is such a good read that I finished it in one sitting. I love that Shark's Pride kept me guessing and engaged.

In this book, Abigail and Sebastian are figuring out their relationship. Their one night of passion in book one (Shark's Edge) changed it all. They are both new to 'being in a relationship' and don't know where to go from here. They do know that they like being around each other and experimenting in the bedroom.

I really loved the suspense in this book. It took the whole story to another level of greatness. It also forced Sebastian and Abigail to make decisions that they probably wouldn't have made if they weren't under such dangerous situations.

I feel like I said this about book one, but I really loved everything about this book.

I give Shark's Pride 5 stars. It is the perfect romantic suspense/thriller you need to read this year. It has amazing characters that give so much to the story. Another fantastic read from a fantastic duo.

If you didn't think this would get more intense, you're wrong. Very wrong. I was literally put on edge reading the second book to Shark's Edge. Someone really wants to destroy Bass' reputation and bring down the Edge with him. Not only that, but now Abbie is in danger. Abbie is the light Bass never thought he needed and he's going to do whatever it takes to keep that light on, even if it might mean leaving him behind in the dark. There's still that tug of war going on between the two but what do you expect out of two people who want control and are headstrong? There's danger, drama, heat, passion and tough choices. It has become an emotional roller coaster of craziness.

Sebastian had to leave the country abruptly and was gone for over 2 weeks. It was the worst time for him to leave since he didn't have the opportunity to speak with Abbigail before leaving and he wasn't able to communicate with her frequently. He was very concern about the status of their relationship because he realized that he actually wanted something more meaningful with Abbi than just a physical relationship. This is obviously new territory for Sebastian and he was very unsure of what he needed to do. Abbi for her part figured that Sebastian didn't want anything to do with her and she's not sure how to feel or what to feel about everything.

Once these 2 are finally able to talk and start to open up to each other, they start to realize that they might both want the same thing but just need to figure out how to proceed. Besides trying to figure out their relationship, scary things keep occurring and it looks like Sebastian's past could be coming back to harm him and anyone who is close to him. The mystery gets more strange, creepy, and threatening. Sebastian does what he always does and takes control and make decisions to protect his loved ones. This obviously doesn't go over well but no one will change his mind. He is determine to find out who is trying to hurt him and the people he cares about. And Sebastian vows to make them pay.

The mystery keeps me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out from what I have read so far what is going on but I'm not even close yet. I have my suspicions but I will have to wait until Shark's Rise (book 3) to hopefully find out if I am even close. It is also fun to read about the developing relationship between Abbi and Sebastian and how these two are navigating through it.

Well I am very torn with this book 2 in this series, the characters are likable, although Sebastian didn't seem to hold onto his alpha man ba**s for long as he becomes absolutely pu**y whipped by Abigail, who seems to becoming very immature and throwing tantrums over almost everything. The sex is hot, the story line is disjointed, stopping and starting in weird places, I mean who goes to bed and acts like finding a dead body in your pool is not a big deal, it was weird. In saying that for some strange reason I cannot stop reading this series and just hoping that the story line comes together better.

Treacherous Waters Ahead...

Keep your friends close, your enemies closer. Sebastian has come to the realization that there is a dangerous opponent in his midst but he cannot figure out who or what it is. He needs to figure that out double quick because he just doesn't have himself to protect, he now has Abbi to keep out of harm's way as well. Abbi is his beacon of everything that is loving and good in his world and because she is in danger as well, he has to up his game to protect her. Someone is on a mission to crush him and everything he spent his whole life creating, launching his new building Edge. Sebastian has momentarily lost his "edge" but he is determined to rectify that immediately.

Abbi is unwavering in standing by Sebastian. Sebastian loves that she is strong willed and unfaltering once she makes a decision. But he has to take the lead in this situation and has to make some touch choices to keep her safe. He is taking a risk in losing everything they have built together emotionally but it is a risk he is willing to take. I cannot wait to see how this all pans out in the next book.

Shark's Pride is the second book of Shark's edge series by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue. As the first book shark's edge ended at a Cliffhanger so this book is the continuation of the first book. It can't be read stand-alone.

Abbigail thought that Sebastian was just interested in doing sex with her but later did she know that She was much more than just one night stands for Sebastian. He does everything to make her understand this that she is not any girl but his Abbigail and he did get successful in that because she became more than his Food catering service provider.

But how can one successful person live with peace? The mystery person does some things which are not only shocking but also life-threatening. There is no doubt this person is as powerful as Sebastian otherwise nobody would have done this. Thus these things make Sebastian Protective Of his Family and Abbigail too and try to send them away from danger but Abbigail is not that kinda girl who easily just take the Protection.

But Will Sebastian be able to save this family and Abbigail from that threat or Will he Able to find Out that Mystery person? That we will Come to know in the next book of the Series Shark's rise.
I really liked this book. Some Incidences were in the book was soo new and fresh which I have never read in any other book and I don't think any author will think like that. These two authors had done a great job while writing. A great new plot which I never heard or Read.

Though In some parts of the book I felt chapters Too stretchy and boring but otherwise I was very excited to get to know what is going to happen further in the story. The book ended at a peaceful note but the authors still haven't revealed who is that Mystery person so Obviously readers have to check out part 3 of this book.

This series gets more and more intense!!!! I can’t get enough of Sebastian and Abbigail!!! If you loved Shark’s Edge then hold onto your shorts because that has nothing on Shark’s Pride!!! We get more info on the elusive Sebastian, but more question’s about who is taunting him! I have my own theory but only time will tell who it is! You will not want to put this book down and I have already begun Shark’s Rise!!! Angel Payne and Victoria Blue knocked it out of the park with this series!!!! Absolutely AMAZING!!!!

I fell in love with Sebastian and abbi in Shark's edge but I just love who they are developing into, you will see over their personalities and characteristic start to really show in this book. With this book I was even more on the edge of my seat with the twists and turns in it! You also see a side of Bas that you would probably not expect to see based on how he treats people. There is a twist that leaves you going what the hell just happened but all and all an other fantastic book and I look forward to the next installment.

The continuation of Sebastian and Abbi’s story takes readers on more of an intense journey that keeps one sucking in air while trying to stay afloat. I preferred this book to the first and it is not a standalone. The storyline picks up where the first book left off as Sebastian has to go away for business but the timing was less than optimal. He wonders why Abbi is a bit standoffish. Really Sebastian??!! Yet when all is said and done, with some sage advice from his sister Pia, Sebastian has turned a corner and is learning….This is not to say that he has lost any of the qualities that one loves about him, i. e. his domineering attitude, his arrogance, and his need for complete control, but his love for Abbi is piercing the walls of his heart to where there is an openness about him. However, having any vulnerability is a detriment to him at a time when there seems to be someone actively trying to take him down and that may lead to the people, he cares about being put in danger. So, what is Sebastian to do? Will the people acquiesce to Sebastian’s request/demand to allow him to protect them?
There is so much that can be said about this book but if you have not started this series, I have one question….What the heck are you waiting for??!! Angel Payne and Victoria Blue have once again delivered an all-encompassing storyline that stays with the reader once the last page is read. There is something here for everyone. Packed jam full with passion, mystery, suspense, love and a whole lot more. This is one book to one-click! I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.

Well, dang! Shark bite! After the first story I was all in for this one and it was enjoyable but it was up and down and running in circles for me. I was on the edge of my seat with the push/pull of the romance and the mysteries and secrets of Sebastian’s past. The Shark dominance continues with the smoking hot Sebastian and the innocent Abbigail moving full steam ahead with their romance, not without a few bumps along the way. The love fest between the older, experienced Bas as he teaches the young, innocent Abbi the delicious pleasure/pain of his particular brand of sensual passion and decadent desire is heart throbbing. Ooh, he's got a dirty mouth with panty-melting words and salacious actions and Abbi loves every minute of it. These two take steam to a whole other level! The emotions flow and the feelings are palatable as Abbi and Bas navigate the intricacies of a real relationship for the first time in the midst of secrets and danger and intrigue. Sometimes it's so heartfelt and sometimes it's painful as the bossy Bas turns controlling in an effort to keep Abbi safe and the headstrong Abbi rebels. There were a lot of moving parts and sometimes the story seemed convoluted or to obvious which was confusing as well as some behaviors that seemed out of character. But the romance was delicious and we find out what's up with Sebastian’s nemesis but there's more going with that guy as he causes trouble between the lovebirds. The ending was another drop the mike moment and now I'm jonesing for the next part. The writing was terrific and all in all the story was entertaining with fabulous characters, main and secondary. This book was so intense I was literally biting my nails as I turned each and every page. Book one had some moments that kept me turning the pages, but book two was so much more.
Book two starts where one left off, with Sebastian and Abbi. Sebastian always seems to say the wrong thing at the wrong time so book two sees him groveling a bit. I loved every second of that. And he doesnt just buy her flowers and move on like every single man in every single romance book... he really hits the romance goals in this one by taking time to really study Abbi and grovel with every single thing that will lead right to her heart.
Their chemistry is off the charts, as with any Angel Payne book. The mystery elements are perfection. I love the guessing game. I loved the Bolt saga and I love the Shark series so far.
Someone is trying to sabotage Sebastian and doesn't care who gets in the way. Sebastian is trying to keep everything together while holding on to his girl. He unravels a little but he also holds his own. I love that about him. That man is a force of nature to be reckoned with. And I find myself falling for him more and more with each new chapter.
Both Abbi and Sebastian do a lot of growing in this book. A lot of moving forward. I love how in every series Angel Payne writes, her characters always learn and grow throughout. They never stay the same people and I wish more books focused on that.


This collab with Payne and Blue is everything I didnt know I needed and I cannot wait to see what happens next. I feel like I am going to die waiting because this one ends on a note that will make your jaw drop. Thank goodness we don't have to wait too long.
