This one was okay...
I was excited about this one when I started! Talon the bad boy assassin with the devil may care attitude. 🤔 Or is it Devil May cry? Either way that’s the feeling you got from Talon and I liked that he was the bad boy/good guy. But man this book let me down.
The whole time he has been upset and jealous that he hadn’t found his mate then suddenly he meets Eden in his suicide mission. Yes that right he was off to kill himself, and then ran into his mate and had second thoughts. And after finding her is upset she is with the bad guys. Yeah I get it she is with running around with wrong crowd, but instead of talking to her he avoids her..... like okay. You’ve been complaining about how you’ve been looking for your mate and then you flat out want her gone and push her away cause you’re a monster. Right... And he is always belittling and bashing on himself. It’s gets old. Here I am thinking he is the good guy’s little bad boy attitude, and all he is doing is loathing on himself a lot. Keeps calling himself a monster, and no one wants him. How he couldn’t never tie someone down to a monster like him. It gets old!
And then there is Eden! The girl who was trying to figure out her feelings while still believing everything that was told her about the Shadows. She came from a abusive relationship and place, and had her guard up. Nothing wrong with that, but the way she just took the nagging and whining from her little sister. OMG!! Never once standing up to her always having to baby and protect her.... I can’t deal with it. Hope being the annoying nag that made me want to pull my hair out. Jealous of her sister being a vampire, having everything she wanted, and oh you even have all the vampire guys going after you! Everything was always Eden’s fault! Everyone was mean to her! All she wants to do is go back to her “really” family! One minute she is happy and then the next oh Eden you took something else away from me, it’s all your fault. Nothing’s good enough all you do is lie! I just can’t... I wanted to throw my phone many times!
This is just my personal opinion about the book. Others might really enjoy it. Do I still think it’s a good series yeah I still like it. I won’t let this one ruin it for the rest. I’m going to move on to the next with high hopes because it’s about a Viking vampire! Hoping it’s going to be good and not annoying like this one! But as I said just my opinion.

Another intriguing piece by L.J Red... Talon and Eden ran around the bush before they got the emotions straight. 😏 And then Hope😡 oh my God so annoying that I felt like pulling my hair out. The action was the bomb. The battle at end was fantastic. Go Talon Go Talon💃

Eden's life is not going as planned. She was training to become a nurse when she meet Riker. And he destroyed her life. He became an abusive boyfriend, And when Eden finally had enough and tried to leave he forcefully killed her and turned her into a bloodsucking Vampire. Now he told her every time she though of leaving he would turn on her baby sister Hope. And she would do anything to protect her.
Max one of Riker's goons came to the club and forcefully made Eden and Hope leave the club. He enjoyed the fact he was hurting her. That was until a vampire killed him. Talon was at the club to rain terror on the Bloodchase, The club of the Ravager's Vampire group. He was ready to die for his cause. It was all getting too much for Talon. Talon was a fierce member of the Shadow. A savage vampire assassin. The blood, the death how much could he take.
That was until he smelt something different, It was alluring. He thought it could be his fated soulmate so he moved closer going into the club only to see a big vampire dragging two women towards the exit. But Talon couldnt believe this vampire could be his fated soulmate, she was his enemy . So he lets them pass. Eden had never felt the pull she felt for the new vampire, but he wasn't going to help her. But that all changed once they got outside.
This is a fabulous read I loved the pull that Eden and Talon had for one another and the fight to stay apart. The fight in Eden to protect her sister who didnt understand what was happening due to Eden keeping the truth from her, thinking she was protecting her. I loved the feel of acceptance and seeing the vampires as fun loving couples and yes a family.
This is a brilliant read. I am loving this series its super addictive.

I’m giving this book a 5 star rating because my would-be boyfriend, Talon, got his HEA. I’m a sucker for a wounded, broken bird, and Talon is exactly that. While he does seem to slip into self-pity a lot, it’s understandable, given that he is the shadow assassin, getting all the really dirty jobs. All that carnage and anger has got to do something to a soul, even a vampire one. But he can come here baby boy, I’ll make it all better for you.
But dang it, he found his soulmate. At first, I was glad it was another vampire, because given his tattered psyche right now, I just didn’t think a human would be able to manage this. However, one thing Eden did prove, was that a vampire woman is capable of being just as stupid as a human one. But I will give Eden a little slack since the scene where she calms him down in the ballroom, and after he murders a few vamps at the docks is so touching, I admit to getting a bit teary eyed. Ok Eden, I guess you deserve him.
All idiocy aside (thanks for nothing Hope), this was a very enjoyable and satisfying read. Now for the strong, silent viking. . . . Ok Rune Baby, you’re up next!

Danger and Passion and one distructive vampire bent on the total annihilation of the Shadows the Vampire elite.
Talon is Lucien's assassin he's seen to much done to much now he is ready to end his life before his leader Lucien has to do it for him. He wants to go out in a blaze of death and distruction take out there enemy the Ravagers a vampire gang and if he can get Roman there creater it will be worth it. But just as he is ready to end his life he finds his soulmate Eden big problem she is his enemy.
Eden used to have dreams of finishing medical school raising her sister and getting out of there dangerous neighborhood but then she meet Riker she didn't know just how bad he really was till it was to late. The abuse and violence she only wanted to protect her sister Hope from it and when she tried to break away she died at Riker's hand now she's like the monsters she hates. And her sister dosen't understand why she cant hang out with Riker and his gang. Eden protected her from the violence for too long. And when she has given up on all hope of getting out her savior comes from the Shadows he dark and dangerous like the ones she hates or is he different she is drawn to him and doesn't understand why she has know knowledge of a soulmate bond. Can they save each other or will they all pay when Roman and Riker start a war. I absolutely love this new book series im hooked cant wait for the next book.

Eden had a boyfriend who said that he could make all of her dreams come true but it was the opposite and when Eden said that she was going to leave him Ryker flashed his fangs and he attacked her and when Eden woke up she had been turned into a vampire, all Eden wanted to do was look after her younger sister when their mother died but now Eden’s life is hell. Talon is an assassin for Bloodline Shadow he was always given the most violent assignments and now he’s had enough, he is looking out over the enemies Club the gang called the Vampire Ravagers and Talon is going to go out in a blaze of glory he’s had enough of living so he’s going to take them all out with him. Suddenly Talon felt a strange pull towards the club and his heart starts to beat and that meant only one thing and that was his soulmate was inside so he went in and saw her and another girl being dragged by a large vampire so Talon knocked him over and then he touched her and saw her fangs. Talon was shocked he asked her if she was one of them she didn’t answer but the other vampire did he said that she is Ryker’s girlfriend he’s the shadows enemy so Talon stepped back he couldn’t believe that his soulmate is the enemy he has to get her out of his system and right now Talon was furious. This is just the beginning of an amazing story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

It was not by choice that Eden became a vampire it was punishment for trying to leave her vampire boyfriend. For her sister's sake she stayed until they were rescued by another vampire and taken to Sanctuary their home base. Talon was a vampire assassin for the Shadows, a group of vampires tasked with the policing of rogue vampires. Talon came to Edens rescue, only to find that she was his soulmate, something he did not deserve because he felt he was a monster, made by his role as an assassin. I really enjoyed reading this book. Talon was a vampire tormented by his past, he felt unworthy of the honor while Eden had spent years with a monster to keep her sister safe. The attraction between them caused by the "soulbond" was a distraction neither really fully understood but could not ignore. I felt Talons pain as he tried to ignore the bond, only with Eden bonded to him would he survive.

I have to be honest that I was expecting to like this book much more than I did. The prior two books fit exactly what I was craving and were just perfect, but this one was just ok.
I suppose that my biggest gripe was that neither Talon nor Eden really had any growth. Talon didn't want a mate because he was out of control - until he just couldn't fight the pull any longer, not necessarily because he found value in having a mate, or even really wanting to live. Eden had her epiphany about the Shadows, and particularly, Talon being protectors - but something about it just didn't feel complete.
Roman has finally jumped off of the edge of sanity. I have absolutely no idea what he plans on doing now that he's found his new source of power, but it can't be good for anyone in Radiance.

In Book 3 of the “Bloodline Warriors “, L.J. Red has given us a darker, steamier and more sensual tale than the last two. Enemy Mate is about Talon the warrior assassin protector from both “Vampire Mate” (book 1) and “Chosen Mate” (book 2). Talon has become so feral, because of a life of violence, that he is ready to die. He believes that he has become so jaded and without emotion because of the life he has led. Until he meets Eden, a vampire from the enemy bloodline and his fated soulmate. Eden has only one desire however, to protect her sister. The sparks fly between these two. This tale contains action, suspense, humor, dark twists, life-changing decisions, and love. This is definitely a wonderful, addition to the Bloodline Warriors: Shadow Series 5++. talon thought he was too far lost to his violence to ever have a mate but when he felt the pull inside his enemy's club he ended up following it any way and there she was being pulled around and injured by one of the enemy males, too bad she had also been turned by them. Eden hated what she had become, Turned against her will and abused for years by a male she hated to keep her sister safe. Now she just hopes that Talon can keep her safe as he claims.
this story has tons of action, emotion and a great plot, with amazing characters who will pull you right in and make you feel as if you re part of their world.

This is the third book in this wonderful series and we are earning more about the Shadows the Vampire elite and their enemies the Ravagers. This is Talons story. He is Lucien's chief assassin and he knows that he is close to going feral but he intends to take as many as the enemy with him before he does either in battle or at Lucien's hand. Then he meets Edan and realises she is his soul mate only problem she was killed by her abusive boyfriend Ryker and is actually a member of those he sees as enemies Can he overlook what she is Can she learn what she has been told about the Shadows isn't true and what happens when Ryker and Roman start the war they have been looking for Now waiting for further information on the Shadow warriors in the next book in this series

Another great read in this series. The story keep you flipping pages till the end. The characters were likeable and the chemistry between Talon and Eden was steamy. Talon thought he was to far gone to the dark side, but once he saw Eden and know that she was his fated mate he stopped at nothing to have her. Eden was turned by her boyfriend and she didn't want nothing to with him or his gang but she had to protect her sister. These two will fight their fellings all the way. A great read and look forward to the next one in this series.

Enemy Mate by L. J. Red is the third book in the series Bloodline Warriors: Shadow. This book features the relationship between the fledgling vampire Eden and Shadow vampire Talon. It is a compelling, fast moving, stand alone book that grabbed me with the interesting plot that ends with its own happy ever after ending. This book continues the compelling storyline that was started in the first two books. This story is full of adventure, excitement, and a romance that made my heart beat faster. This is a wonderful addition for any reader who loves an excellent vampire romance. Enemy Mate is a compelling vampire romance!

Phenomenal! This series is absolutely fantastic! This is a captivating and thrilling book 3 in the ‘Bloodline Warriors: Shadow’ series and it will take you on an exciting ride full of intrigue, steam, action, suspense, drama, and humour. An enjoyable page turner that is emotionally deep with twists and turns and ups and downs. Strong broken characters … fated mates … chemistry is intense and off the charts. This is an on the edge of your seat read and is definitely recommended.

Mnemonic Mate: Bloodline Warriors: Shadow
Another excellent book. I have really enjoyed this series. Usually when reading these kinds of series they are so carbon of the first one that you can’t tell the difference but with these, it was several chapters before I realized this was a character from an earlier book. It is like you can read these almost as stand-alones which is really great. I have gotten “attached to all of these Warriors and it is great to read them. I will definitely recommend this series to others!!!

Pleased
Very pleased with this story Talon and Eden story was as good and Dana’s and Lucius story. All the trials heart ache and pain leading to a much deserved HEA. I can’t wait to read Rune’s story but wasn’t expecting his mate to be Bridget since there was never mention of a connection to her in the precious books. I’m actually excited to read more about Jacob and who his mate might be. I hope that Hope will find a shadow of her own to though she started out as an unpleasant character I would like to see her join the fold.

Talon thought he was too far gone. Just when he was willing to end it all for everyone to be safe he met his mate Eden. She was of his enemies. She was turned against her will and hated vampire life until Talon. Together they would get throught the dark days and turmoil that was brewing and find each themselves in each other. Such a great book.

This is book three in the Bloodline Warriors featuring Talon and Eden. Eden had been turned by River against her will, while Talon was a Shadow who enforces Vampire law. He was also violence personified with pure unrestrained rage. The story was engaging and attention holding with strong and vividly portrayed characters. Excellent read!

Another good installment in this series. Eden and Talon were from opposing sides. He was a shadow meant to kill all vampires like her. But she wasn’t quite what he thought. River had forced her into becoming a vampire into the rogue gang. But Talon knew Eden was his soul mate and through a very rough and tumble adventure they got their HEA

Talon thought he didn’t deserve a soulmate ,then when he finds Eden he realises that she anchors him from his wildness. But things don’t go to plan there’s war with the Bloodline Radience who Roman is the master.
This is an exciting story with great characters , loved the storyline.

There are some dark themes to this story along with all the action and emotion. Talon doesn’t want a mate, especially one from a group who are his enemies, unfortunately for him his destined mate, Eden is an enemy. The story-line is great and the characters are wonderful.

I really liked this one. I have not read the first two in the series so I am going on that basis for this review. I liked the characters development and the storyline. I wanted to keep reading so its all good in my opinion.

Love these vampires!

The story of Eden and Talon is suspenseful. Like the other two books I binge-read this.
Eden has a difficult past and she's trying to protect her sister. Talon is fighting with his own devils. And neither is very good at communication. We also learn more about the issues in vampire society and it seems like the shadows will be gearing up for war in the soon future.

Enemy Mate by LJ Red is an intriguing romance between Eden and Talon full of action, love, and insecurities. I loved reading this book and looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This series has become a favorite of mine. I loved Eden and Talon's story. It definitely helps reading the stories in order, albeit I started with Neal and May's first, but still great even if you didn't.
Ms. Red is a great storyteller and I can't wait to read more of her works.
