Hoshino’s never been afraid to tell Negishi just how he feels about her. Hoshino loves Negishi heart and soul–after all, she’s his very first love. But suddenly it’s gotten harder to share his feelings, because now he’s feeling something he’s never felt before: jealousy! The new boy at school, Wakaba, has a major crush on Negishi. And when Wakaba and Negishi become friends, Hoshino gets worried. Is Negishi pulling away from him? And will Hoshino’s silence only make things worse?
I don’t know… the humor is dying down each volume and things are getting a little stale. But, I do like Hoshino and Negishi as a couple and want to see how things go… Thank goodness, there’s only one more volume to go…
I really liked this book, but it was sort of bittersweet. Lots of dealing with jealousies...the duties of growing up, like studying. My favorite part by far was one large panel where, after studying seperately and missing each other, they meet up on the playground and Negishi says to Hoshino, against the empty background of the night sky: "Loneliness is our property--It's mine and yours."
