Welcome to a blood thriller on the streets of the modern nights. For centuries the Anarch Movement enjoyed an uneasy truce with the Camarilla, but no longer. Now, the Unbound refuse to bow to the sickening hypocrisy and tyranny of their former allies. Claiming the nighttime streets as their own, the Anarchs seek independence from the despotic Elders, by any means necessary. Only the toughest and smartest of self-made vampires will survive. Featuring all-new essays on nocturnal survival and politics from Juhana Pettersson.

I wasn't sold on it initially. It's arranged in a much different way than Camarilla is, more a collection of vignettes than a cohesive look into different aspects of a sect. But with time I understood that this is a perfect fit for a Movement that's essentially entirely disorganized and rich in unique local flavours.

It's a good companion read to Camarilla, and is overall a pretty inspiring sourcebook.

Well, so far I've read the corebook, Camarilla and this one, from V5 edition, and I have to say that it was the best so far!
The artwork was much better, with fewer cringe photos and more actual art pieces, which I loved!
The structure of the book in general was really good, in all terms, but I had one issue.
There were many things explained through stories... Not actual chapters of "how it works" etc, but characters telling a story in which there was a certain topic described. It was not bad, but from a certain point it got too repetitive and I got tired of it.
In conclusion, even though I am not a fan of Anarchs in VtM, this book was amazing!

Great book - like a throwback to the White Wolf books of the 90’s where 98% of it is just lore and vignettes from various characters in the world. A really engaging read, it really does help to flesh out the vampire world of 2020 from the Anarch perspective. It only loses a star because the section on the Ministry, previously known as the Followers of Set, lacks a degree of robustness that would make them more useful in play. I’m also not a fan of how they relegated Serpentis to a single low dot sub-power of Presence.

This is so much better than the core book! The lore sheets are rather heavy in typos and I don't know why nearly everybody appears to know who Tyler is and what she did to facilitate the original Anarch Revolt, but still: because this is a rules-light, character-driven, background-heavy book that reads like an actual Vampire: the Masquerade book from the Nineties I liked reading it very much.
Also, this book does not try to look like someone needed help photoshopping their failed fashion shoots but uses actual art throughout, which I appreciate very much. (Okay, there are photos, too...)
What reading the book makes very clear, though, is the fact that declaring "the Anarchs" a sect still makes no sense, as they are anything but a united group (or even front); Anarch is simply a header for all the disparate groups who don't consider themselves to be beholden to the Camarilla.
The write-ups of Anarch clan off-shoots (or even Clans) are fun and Setites finally make their appearance here as the rebranded "Ministry" (though, seriously, who would go with that in-game?) and get Protean instead of their own discipline of Serpentis.
Falls short of five stars but is a very decent book in my formerly favourite game line.

Though I'm not sure I'm as big a fan of the disparate Anarch domains as the Cammy's more ordered dominions, the Anarch book wins points for (part of it) being actually set up like a proper zine with interviews and articles, which is a great aesthetic experience. They really need another proofreader though - like most V5 stuff there's a couple of typesetting errors that really stand out and break the flow (I guess you could argue that is also very zine-like, but it's not exactly great for readers)

Ta książka to zbiór elementów świata przedstawionego, bez nowych istotnych zasad.
