...I considered my goals and what—or who—was preventing me from reaching them. Randl Gage and the CSD were now my biggest enemies. Across both Alliances, I had thousands upon thousands of graveyards, cemeteries and catacombs under my control, waiting for me to set a suitable command system in place before reanimating the dead and turning my father's vision into reality. —V'dar (the Prophet)

Randl Gage and the BlackWing Pirates are on a collision course with the Prophet, each determined to destroy the other.
Enter an unknown, third player, and the stage is set for the ending of all worlds...

I'm going to be honest. It took me awhile to get around to reading this because I enjoy your books about Lissa,Reah, and Quinn more. I love to see women win and overcome adversity. I wasn't even sure I'd read it but one fact made me take a chance. You're Connie Suttle and you're my favorite writer. I've loved every book I've read by you so that's enough for me to trust in you and I'm so happy I did. This book was so amazing. I loved how unpredictable it was. How you didn't find out Carrie's parentage until the end. How I mourned for Cliff but I got him back in the end. How I still don't know who's Destiny's father. The showdown with Randl and the Prophet and finding out the truth about Griffin. I'm so excited about the next book and I'll never doubt you again.

I am a real fan of the authors books and bought and read all of them apart from the Black Rose series.
The only problem I have with them is the continued regurgetating theme of abused women and children as well as the continual recycling of the Rogue Gods, Sirenali storylines with diferent main players and for that reason I only gave this book 2 stars. I am "Sirenali'ed" out.
The main reason for me purchasing the follow-on novels, even though entertaining in their own right, was the continued cameo appearances of Lissa who started me on this journey and who will remain my favouite character. With regards to Lissa, I feel the author let her down and continued to keep her subserviant to the males character for far too long.
I have to say I love all of the series, and they are coming together pulling all the characters in, I can't wait for the next book, but I have found that rereading them when you know the ending is even better! I also love that C.S. don't treat her readers like we're idiots and can't keep up. I hate when you buy a book with 350 pages and 125 of those pages are reminders of the last book. Great authors are hard to come by C.S. is one of the best! Thanks for another great book, pins and needles till the next one comes out.😍
This is another example of great storytelling. I couldn't put this book down I had some time to myself so I started reading when I looked up again it was hours later and the book was done. There is one thing I would like to see in this series and that's for Griffin to be forgiven and have his own HEA
The amount of intrigue alone in this book gives it 5 stars in my eyes, but then she brings back old friends that pull at my heart strings and I'm on a completely different type of rollercoaster ride. This will be another of Connie's book that I read again.
Oh my goodness! As always, Connie Suttle, tantalises, mystifies and excites me as beloved characters get involved with new and a wondrous tale unfolds. Thank you again Connie. Once again I’ve been drawn into your world and rejoice doing it Thankyou for another wonderful experience.
Even though it can be hard keeping everyone straight sometimes, I absolutely adore Connie's books. They are so we'll written and full of love and love. It's sometimes hard to be patient in between releases but they are always worth it in the end.
The book series started out interesting but ended up being too slow. I skipped part of book 4 because nothing was happening; I was bored. Books 1, 2, and 3 were pretty good. Book 4 should have been half as long; it also became very convoluted.
I hope its not the last. We need lots more of the Lissa universe. More Reah, more Quin, lots more Love Wisdom and Strength.. Randl Dori and all the BlackWing Pirates.
So much is happening in this book! There is more than just V'dar and Randls war going on. A new player enters and taking things in a different direction. Cassie is learning exactly what she's made of and the rest of the BlackWing crew are trying to figure out what's going on before it's too late. The ending OMG what an ending. My heart broke for Griffin and all that he had to do. I hope he gets his HEA someday. Loved this whole series!!! A must read
I purchased this early release directly from the Author's webstore.
I am speechless at the moment. All I can say is that I am going to need time processing my thoughts and feelings about someone that I thought I knew. This was such a surprise that I never even considered it. Charles....& Griffin....

Cassie and Randl really took this book to another level. With the hunt for the Prophet and the drive of the Black Wing Pirates so many tragic occurrences culminate in the biggest surprises I hadn’t anticipated. And an old character from Lissa’s and Breanna troubled stories returned and those actions took this book out of the stratosphere. Wow!
