Mahirap siya basahin when you're a dog lover, and you're far away from your dog. :(

But still very relatable and striking as a devotional.

---

On our walks, we'd stop at the creek and Hank would sit by my side while I told him and God about my day. Sitting by the stream, with water cascading over rocks, I was refreshed and renewed.

When she inhaled the soft milk breath of the puppy, her heart softened, and the resolve to leave without a dog dissolved.

May we all be as faithful in friendship as the dogs we love. Let's face it: they have set the bar pretty high.

Just think, as much as we love to give our dogs the desires of their little hearts, it pales in comparison to how much our heavenly Father enjoys blessing us.

I return to this book all the time. I read a few of these a day. I find many of the stories, though anecdotal, to have a special way of getting me to spend time with God and hear his word even though it's somewhat unconventional. I take with me a message to carry through my day. I especially love any of the dachshund stories because I've have had four in my time and I learned many lessons from them. I still do. They're over the Rainbow Bridge but they have never left my heart. This book keeps me connected to them all.
I think anyone who loves and understands dogs, and remembers that dog spelled backwards is God, would find their spirit renewed each time they read. I cherish this as my all time favorite devotional book.

It is a very cute book with life-long lessons attached to it!

Although I would not typically pick this book in a store, I truly enjoyed it! My mom gifted me this book since I am a huge dog lover.

The short stories inside are just downright cute and very relatable if you have fur-babies at home.

The struggles of the dog owners and the characters that dogs possess are being used as metaphors for the teachings of Christian values. It is an easy book to pick up. So if you're a dog lover and a Christian, I totally suggest this book!

I only gave this 3 stars since I am not really a religious person, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Wonder-full Divinity from a canine perspective

A grand compendium of meditations of God's providence within canine provenance. Witty, Wild, Philosophical, Mystical. A great read to "fill the unforgiving moment with sixty seconds worth of distance run . . ." Higly recommended to all canine aficionados who'll find it difficult to relinquish the tome once begun. Kudos all to the author(s?).

The stories are very cute and heartwarming. It makes me reflect on my own dogs and how I treat them and go on with my daily life as a Christian.

This is devotional book that has 15 contributors - one of which is Rachel Britton.

There are 90 devotions for Dog people.

Really enjoyed reading this book - loved reading about people's pets and their antics.

Which then is related to humans and how God loves us so much.
