At Westview Academy, only the baddest boys get the girl.
I was a good girl who got caught doing something stupid. As punishment I was shipped across the country to live with my biological dad and his new family. My stepmother hates me, my stepbrother can’t stand to look at me, and my new school is filled with rich kids who think they’re better than me. But I’ve been a fighter my whole life and I won’t let any of them get me down. They don’t call it Bully Academy for nothing, and with the hottest boys wanting me and the meanest girls hating me, I will come out on top and I will get my revenge. I don't know how, but I do know I'll have one crazy year getting there.
Way too many High School Bully Romances to continue a series that lacks depth. The Leading Lady is so utterly focus on money. Everything is “we aren’t rich” “she is rich” “they are rich” “we aren’t poor but we aren’t rich”.... ok I get it you’re shallow calm down! Her friends are so nice to like her despite the fact she isn’t rich. Oh and everyone is good looking! She is a Barbie replica blonde air blue eyes and everyone around her are model pretty. It was too much. Next!
I don't know what to think of this book, I really am on the fence. I didn't want to give 3 stars or lower, I just don't know how to connect with this story. I think it's the main character. I want to kick her in the teeth. The way the author tries out teenage lingo...it doesn't jibe really well. It kind of got on my nerves. I mean the main character is a total dumbass, she is a teenager...they are all dumbasses, but she goes from being HBIC, at least in her mind, to simpering to trying to be a tough girl, and it just doesn't mesh, either you have the stones to deal with what life hands you or you can be a simpering idiot, but you can't be both. I dunno if I will finish this series, but I will say I won't finish it any time soon.
I liked the story line but I feel like it was a little rushed without anything bullyingish really going on. I am curious about what happens next though
This book was alright. The writing was sort of bland but not bad but if someone asked me why I kept reading I’d have no answer. Honestly this book might’ve gotten another star if it wasn’t so short. Most times, when a book cuts off at a cliffhanger, I get why the author did it that way. But in this case, the ending was the first time something happened at all. Literally nothing happened in the entire book until the end. World building needs some more work too. There weren’t any interesting side characters and she has yet to talk about classes, friends, or even to her dad. Her dads literally there for 1 scene at the beginning and dips. This entire story line seems like it happened over the course of 3-5 days.
This also isn’t that bad, there are some nice parts, nothing extremely enjoyable but good scenes nonetheless. Definitely more like an episode of a tv series than a season of it.
Bully academy is book one in the ‘’boys of Westview academy’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an entertaining read. I read this book in one sitting. Bully academy is the first book of Mina Thorne’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline intriguing. After a humiliating event, Stephanie is sent to live with her biological father and her new stepfamily. With no friends, a father to get to know and a hateful stepfamily, things aren’t easy. Not forgetting the private school filled with Rich kids, she is out of her element. I liked that Stephanie didn’t let people get her down. She stood up for herself. What I wasn’t a fan of about her was that she always mentioned money and her lack of it. I wasn’t a fan of Barrett, I couldn’t figure him out. I hated the way he treated Stephanie, he was very hot and cold. The storyline for this book is fairly easy to follow.
As the beginning of a series as a whole it's not a bad start. I've read a lot worse! Yes "bj queen" and other irritating phrases are in there but come on.....at the end of the day they're kids in high school! They're going to have annoying phrases and say and do stupid things. I worry when there ISN'T bits like that as it seems too far fetched and not like 17/18 yr olds.
It's a 4 book series. It's a lot of tit for tat going on between the h and the queen b as is normal.
The relationship between h and H is a bit strange at this point but they're in that should they/shouldn't they phase.
Have read much worse but there is an over saturated market for bully genres now and it's stretched out over 4 books and ultimately a lot of repeating situations, the same worries again and again...but on the other hand it's a nice easy read. A good series to maybe read on holiday?🤔😁

I don't know what to think about this story. I can't tell if it is a menage or stepbrother romance. Also, I really don't like Stephanie. I'm hoping she grows a spine, and starts acting like she is as smart as the book says she is. My dislike for her could be a deal breaker in book 2 of she doesn't change. I didn't love this book, but I am intrigued by where the romance plot is going, and really hopeful the heroine stops sucking (no pun intended to the "BJ Queen). I also want to know more about the Hero. I love a conflicted, tortured book hero, and am hoping the stepbrother comes through
This was a poor imitation of some of the academy stories around at the moment. The characters lacked any depth and weren’t believable. The storyline was boring and unoriginal. I did read through to the end, hoping it would improve though sadly it didn’t but was relatively short. Sorry but it needs a lot more work to convince me to read any more. If you’re looking for a good comparison try C M Stunich.
Another great book and with a cliff hanger like really! But it was really good! Gosh I really didnt want it to end but I also kinda wanted more steam seems like so much sexual tension between her and her step brother! And I dont know what to think about the other boys yet. Lol
Its got good potential... Im ready for the next book... I hope Stephanie grows more backbone though and starts being HERSELF more instead of just trying to fit in where she can get in.. I hope this is a "why choose" book too...I like all 4 of the guys so far...🤔.
This story has what I look for in a HS bully story. Angst, drama, hot stepbrother, etc. BUT it could have been much better with a little more proofreading and editing. When the name of the school being attended changes from Westview to Fairview in one scene, you know the proofreading fairies were off that day.
Really good start and loving the storyline....my only complaint is that it was too short I want loads more. I feel sorry for Stephanie and the treatment of her. She's just a teenager whom made a mistake and it's following her. And her so called family are POS's. I can't wait to read book two. I recommend this book Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
I picked this up last night and was up until 3am reading books 1 and 2. Now I’m impatiently waiting for August to get here. Character development is perfect. Just enough to know the characters but not so much that they are predictable. Can’t wait to see where this series goes.
This book has you from the start. You are taken on a quick ride of the MC trying to lose her virginity to Josh. Who is then sent to live with her rich dad. The time at westview academy is full of hot guys and mean girls. Who invite her to a party where it gets mean. Don't want to say much more or I'd give away too much. So pick it up and read
I was barely able to stomach the dialogue “it’s lit” “it’s fire” until I was at the point where she got involved in a threesome with her supposedly best friend that slept with her teacher and his wife. The characters were painful to read about and the heroine got on my nerves so quick I had whiplash.

This was the first series I've read of Mina Thorne and I'm looking forward to reading more by her. The characters were engaging and the plot held my attention. I highly recommend Bully Anthology: Boys of Westview Academy, books 1-4 by Mina Thorne! This is a complete set of this series. There are curse words, sex scenes, and acts of voice.
I actually enjoyed reading this book, first book I’ve read by this author and it was rather good, I know few reviews say it was written bad but I found that it was actually written very nicely and the story line was quit interesting, really looking forward to book 2.
This book is a solid 5. It’s real to what can happen to anyone really. Videos being leaked? Check. Parents being mad and sending you away? Check. Cute guys being thrown in? Quadruple CHECK.
The story has potential to be good it starts off good however it was a super short read which I don't like cause chances of me every finishing the series are slim if it's being broken up into a few short books vs one decent sized one.
The book is very spot on about bullying and slut shaming when the people doing it are far worse. Everyone who has had this happen should read books like this one, to know they are not alone.
This book was okay. Pretty quick and interesting enough. There's not much of bullying except at the end where Stephaine was humiliated at the party with some pictures and a video. With that ending, I'm curious about the next book though.
This is a slow burn bully book. So far, it’s very good. It’s a quick read. I’m enjoying the story so far. I haven’t determined whether it’s also a reverse harem yet. I’m hoping so, but if not that’s ok, too. Looking forward to the next book to see what happens!
Too short, the first two books should be combined into one.. would be more thorough. Feeling a lack of build up too/background. ALthough, the MC actually acts like a teenager,s o that's refreshing (aka, crappy decision making).
I know this is tagged as a bully romance. It is the 1st book in a series. I feel that book one is a lead up Stephanie moving with her dad. She will be going to Westview Academy. Her stepbrother already hates her.I want to read book 2 and see where this takes Stephanie.
This book was just good/okay to me. There was some bullying and the plot was alright. I just found myself left wanting something more. I will continue this series to see where it goes.
I like the story line here, forbidden is kind of a guilty pleasure. I enjoy the characters, but this and all of the books in this series need formatting and editing.
I did enjoy this book, and will read the next one. The storyline definitely has potential. However I did find that the Stephanie seemed quite erratic emotionally at times, I know she’s a teenager and this is not necessarily unusual.
This had a great premise and I was really excited to read it as I was expecting for the protagonist to grow a backbone and stand up to her bullies and family and that never happened. I also didn't mind the guys but they didn't stand out.
