Another great read, with lots of chemistry and hotness. This is a well written story and hooked me from the start.This is a quick hot read, with a interesting plot and fantastic characters, great emotion and Loads of steam!

I’ve followed the Protectors of the Pack series (and the connecting to that world series as well) since the beginning, and it’s interesting to see how The Silent Butchers have evolved, changed over time. I knew what they once were, but I’m seeing the remaining members of this particular chapter in a different light and that to me, as a reader, is fascinating. To see how an author can take a group I loathed and turn them into individuals with their own reasons and resolves to become something more, something better than they were is an intriguing journey. If you haven’t yet had the chance to read the entire series I would highly recommend it.
Anyway, that was a looking back moment. Let’s look ahead to Jett, Paige, and Evie.
There is so much I could say about SCOUNDREL – but I won’t for this is a story that you need to experience for yourself. I could discuss my feelings about it but again, I’m afraid that I would give away vital parts of the story that shouldn’t be in a review. So let me put it to you this way — Jett and Paige are mates but there is no instant love between them, oh, hesitant attraction but Paige does indeed hate Jett for the truth she believes she knows about Jett and her friend’s relationship. The reality is quite different, and Paige is having to shuffle around what is the truth and what were lies in order to begin thinking of letting Jett into her life. Their lives are so very opposite of each other, in many ways Paige seems almost unaware of the undercurrents of her former home or of life in an MC family. Jett is dumbfounded to discover he has a daughter, but he’s not letting her go for anyone – not even his mate, Paige. Somehow he has to find a way to keep his families in his life, and that’s not going to be easy considering what is happening with the Silent Butchers right now.
SCOUNDREL is full of tensions, danger, ironic moments with some laugh out loud results, two people who fate has brought together but have a very rocky road to a happy ending, and one adorable little girl who will seal not only scenes but your heart as well. I was surprised by a few things, and it will be interesting to see where Ms. Blackwood takes us next.
In all, this is a story that will stay in your head long after the final page. A definition of what makes up a family gets a bit blended. I fell in love with Jett, adored Evie, and slowly warmed up to Paige – she’s not always easy, but for Jett, she’s his everything along with his daughter. Looking for a really good Shifter Romance? Then you’ll want to pick up SCOUNDREL and maybe the entire series as well.

Jett Greyson is a wolf shifting bachelor. He is part of the Silent Butchers MC and trying to get things on straight for the time being. However, things get flung sideways when a rivalry between a nomad pack gets double crossed and a little girl shows up on his MC’s doorstep.
Finding out your a father isn’t what he signed up for. But the idea of having a family thrills him and makes him want to work to keep his daughter safe. The only issue, his mate, doesn’t think he is fit to be Evie’s dad, let alone be her mate.
He has to prove to Paige he can be an excellent mate and father before time runs out. But with danger lurking around every corner, it seems like having a family isn’t in his cards. The struggle this wolf and bear shifter face to find each other is a rollercoaster. Throwing the struggle of becoming a single parent is even more troublesome.
You root for Jett to make the right decisions. The idea of him leaving Evie leaves a sour taste in your mouth. But there are points you wonder if the MC life is for kids or not. Thanks to Hawke, things get straightened out though and a HEA is achieved.
Loved every minute of this book. The difficulties left you reeling and hoping for a better outcome for the two MCs. If I had to rate this book out of 5 stars I would give it 5/5 stars without a thought. The emotional rollercoaster with Paige and Jett is worth the ride. I highly recommend this book to the shifter lover that has an aching heart for bear shifters to find their true mates with a scruffy wolf.

Jett Paige and Evie
Nothing like a hot guy and cute kid to make a curvy woman happy. Or readers of a Keira Blackwood story about all three. --Prepare to be happy--
Jett had plenty on his mind after the meeting he'd just had with one of the baddest of the bad. Now he had to report to the MC club prez/pack alpha. The news wasn't good. Wasn't necessarily bad and he had to try to explain. Little did he expect to find a little girl hiding behind one of his club brother's back who was supposed to be his. She'd been dropped off and left with a toy and a backpack. He didn't know what to do, where she came from, and who was her mother? Was she really his? As much as he didn't know, he did know that ice cream and kids worked.
Paige had writer's block. She needed to get her article out. A visit with Evelyn always helped. When she arrived to find out her grandmother was in rehab with a severe injury and her sister had dropped Evie off at her father's clubhouse. Change of plans! Go get her best friend's daughter. She'd promised herself that she'd make sure she'd be taken care of after her friend's death. What she didn't expect find was her mate. Was he really the awful man she'd been told about? Even if he wasn't how much danger did the club put Evie and her in?
This is sometimes touching, sometimes funny, steamy hot, with action and romance. I loved all the characters and combining Shifters with an MC—oh yeah, I'm in. Enjoy.

On the other hand, there were many places where it felt that more answers could have been provided. Just one example, Paige’s past in Frozen Peaks – is this a coincidence or something more? Why bring it up?
As for Jett, Evie, and Paige – be still my heart. With every moment they spent together I fell more in love with each of them.
The story was often heart melting, sometimes funny, partially romantic, and laced with MC drama and raw sexuality. In other words, it was a great combination of fun and edge-of-my-seat action, which is just how I like my shifters, dads, and families.

The book opens with Jett visiting a shifter prison. What Jett finds out will put in motion a series of events that will endanger him and those around him. Paige hates Jett before she meets him because of how he had treated her deceased best friend. When she actually meets him she finds out that what she had been told wasn't necessarily the truth and oh, by the way, he is her mate. The meeting and her desire to protect her friend and Jett's daughter, Evie, gets the personal side of story off and running so the two story lines can cross. I like Paige's protective instincts for Evie and how she was willing to do whatever she could to protect her even if it went against her desire to be with Jett. I really felt for Jett being pulled between his love for Paige and Evie and his commitment to his motorcycle club and pack. The road towards their HEA is a rough one with plenty of change, facing up to the baggage each of them carries and finding out what is really important. Paige shares a great deal of wisdom in the epilogue that resonated with me. It was definitely worth reading.

Hats off to Keira for this well paced, action packed and intriguing tale! The characters will not only keep you entertained, they will have you swooning in no time. My heart ached for young Evie, once again being shuffled off to yet another relative after her grandmother fell and broke her hip. But she was about to discover that it was going to be, not only the best move, but her final one also. When Paige sets out for a visit with her best friends' daughter, never in her wildest dreams did she imagine the events that would snowball because of it. But snowball they did, right up to the best looking man she ever laid eyes upon. And not only was Jett Evie's father, he was her mate! But will these two ever be able to see eye to eye, especially when it came to Evie?
Definitely worth the read!

When Jett returns home to speak with his Alpha, what does Brick say to him? Who are Paige, Evie, LInda, Sylvia, and Marla? What does Paige do for a living? What issue is she running into with regards to work right now? When Paige gets to Linda's home, what does Sylvia tell her about Evie? Who is Briggs? What does it have to do with Jett's earlier task in the book? What do we ultimately learn? Who is Tiny and how does his decision on a course of action without his Alpha's word to do so almost causes a war? Read and see what happens!

Jett is part of a motorcycle club and his is a wolf shifter. After returning from a meeting for the club he learns that he has a child by a one night stand he had. Paige is stunned when she learns that her friend's daughter has been dropped off to a father she has never met. When she shows up he keeps her from taking Eve but he knows the minute he meets Paige that she is his mate. When conflicts between another club comes to town will the club be able to protect Paige and Eve? Will Jett show her that her and Eve are more important than the club?
This is a great story that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Another great book from one of my favourite authors her books always flow well and you always feel as though the characters are friends and this one is no exception

This is the fifth story in The Protectors of the Pack series and it's the first book in this series that I've read and I didn't miss anything so it can be read as a standalone story. There are also no cliffhangers....
Jett learns he has a spunky little daughter, Evie and a mate, Paige on the same day, but unfortunately his pack and MC have drama from a rival group and are all on high alert.
Jett and Paige have wonderful chemistry together and together make a wonderful little family unit for Evie. Can this pack help Jett protect his family from harm?
This is an entertaining story, it's well-written with wonderful likable characters with loads of spunk. I will definitely read more from this author.

The Silent Butchers are trying to prevent a war with another shifter MC gang. While Jett is trying to find more information, someone dumps a little girl at the headquarters, with the message that Evelyn is his daughter - and his responsibility! Paige goes looking for her best friend's little girl - she has promised to keep her safe, and will always do her best to do that - no matter what she has to face. Will they be able to work though thier differences/ And will Jett be able to keep them safe? Love this story! Action, twists, turns and romance - it has it all!

Jett Greyson sultry werewolf MC lawyer has a lot on his plate. In a few days, he has to prove he is a worthy dad, stop a war, and convince the intelligent writer Paige that they are fated to be together. A few unpleasant hurdles need to be conquered before reaching their happy ever after.
Entertaining read with credible characters and powerful scene descriptions. The adorable daughter is a fabulous addition to this story. Paige and Jett's chemistry and devotion are true; loved them together.

Nice romance! I liked Jett. He was loyal and about doing the right thing. Paige was loyal and fierce when it came to Evelyn. She took off to protect the baby. Jett was brave dealing with the Tribunal and Briggs on his own. The storyline was exciting. It kept me rivited to see if/how Jett would resolve the problem. I would have liked more context in the story and the ending was rushed and pat. I like everything tidy ending in an HEA, but I like my brain to have to work hard and earn it. Nicely done Ms Blackwood. I look forward to reading more about this pack. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

Excellent Mate Story
Everyone's take on these bad dad stories is always so interesting. I think my favorites are the dads that have no clue that they are even a dad. Then you throw in a woman who knows the child and bam it happens to be his mate.
Of course you add a MC into the mix and you have a story filled with lots of drama and excitement. There is always bad guys lurking in the corners, even when you don't expect them.
This book will keep you on your toes as to what is going to happen Next and you will fall in love with the characters, especially the little girl and her pokey and Mr. Stabbyface.

I really enjoyed this book. A 7 year old girl gets dropped off at a biker clubhouse as she is the daughter of one of the members (but he didn't know). The mother is deceased and her best friend comes looking for her. The chemistry between the two adult shifters is strong. There is a struggle at the beginning, but Jett is over the top happy he is a father. There are some struggles learning to be mated and how to parent, but love does overcome alot. The little girl Evie is just precious and full of energy. A good character. I received a complimentary ARC and this is my honest review.

Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Jett has a problem, someone dropped a little girl at his front door and does not know the fist thing about babies. Jett believes Paige is his mate, so what better way to get closer to her and also show Paige that he is different to what she thought, so does Paige help with the little girl.

Another awesome read to add to the Protectors of the Pack Series. An unexpected kids, this MC member doesn't know what to do, add in a curvy woman looking to take away what is his and unexpectedly finding his mate, not what was planned but this smart guy can figure it out. The characters are really great and the story really does make you fall in love. I could see this being a stand alone in the series but don't miss out on the other books as they are well worth knowing the background of the Protectors.

Love all these Bad Alpha Dad stories. They merge with other series but are easily read as stand alone. This one takes on one sweet little girl and the two people who are now the most important in her life. Jett is a wolf shifter that has led the pack and MC lifestyle. Thankfully they stopped all the illegal activities. And then there is Paige. A bear shifter that only wants to protect her best friend’s daughter after her friend’s death. So expect this momma bear to show some teeth and claws when needed.

Jett do not seems as mate material, even less parent material. Despite it he become both in same day. Paige have her own baggage and insecurities. And Evie is just Evie, one active kid with wonderful personality and need of love. All this while pack is in danger and Jett being hunted. Not a perfect moment to start relationship, but it’s maybe what can make some change theirs futures. Read it in one streak without putting down.

Another great book in the Protectors of the Pack series! The storyline flows perfectly around Jett, Paige and Evie. There is plenty of action and suspense surrounding Jett and the job that he did for the president of the MC that he is part of. The stress of having a child show up that he does not know who the mother is and finding out that she is his keep Jett on his toes. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

I admired Jett, the male protagonist. He kept it in stride when he learned that he had a kid on the same day that he met his mate who was trying to get his kid away from him. He dealt with it and dealt with the problem at the MC and he dealt with his personal issues because now he had something to protect and that is his family.

Love this addition to the series. What a thing to find on your doorstep. A baby and you are told it is yours. But is it? And since you don't know anything about taking care of children you get a woman who is your mate. But she hates you and now not only do you have a kid to take care of but have to prove you are a good man. A lot to do. Suspenseful, emotional, dramatic and so much more. Initially I was dubious about this not being a major fan of MC tales! However, I was pleasantly surprised by this after deciding to stick with it! It was pacy and had a good tale of love and redemption while keeping the "Bad Dad" part of the tale intact!
IT has all the hallmarks of a good romance and I really enjoyed it tne end and highly recommend the read!

OMG, I love Jett and Evie! Such a wonderful story of redemption and a HEA! Jett had it bad growing up and it left him feeling less than. Then a little girl is dumped on him and he loved her even before he really knew he was her dad. Paige is a spitfire and I love that they formed a family together!

This is the 5th book in the series and can be read as a stand-alone. Jett was surprised that he had a daughter when she was left on his doorstep. He needs Paige to help care for her, what will happen when he realizes that Paige is his mate? Fast-paced shifter read, great characters with steamy chemistry and an entertaining story. I really liked it.

Book five in The Protectors of the Pack series this is Jett part of the Silent Butchers MC,Paige his mate and Evie his daughter's story. A well written story that kept me turning pages there is twists, turns, drama, misunderstandings, family, and romance. I enjoyed reading this book. This was a hot read from the beginning which helped keep my attention from start to finish. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline was built around MC characters which some are my favorite storylines to read with strong alpha males and even stronger females.
