As you'll see from my book list here on Goodreads, I write in a range of genres: romance-suspense novels, gritty short stories and more recently, a series of illustrated, interactive modern fairy tales for children (age 6-12). Wow Power by title it should have been called EXPLOSIVE oh boy what a story line Olivia a cool Scottish lass but hard as iron Bastian just hard and what can you say about Jackson. Lots of action violence and sex. I love the way you bring all the plots together and describe the scenery it has you there with them.(I wish!!!!!!!!).
I have only read a couple of your books but am now on your back catalogue.

I voluntarily review an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I can't stop reading this and I can't even let the book down , until I finish it at the end. WOW it makes me speechless and It was very interesting story of Olivia and Jackson. Looking forward for more of your works...

Once again Emma has written a book that is very hard to put down. Strong characters and great story line. In my personal opinion her best work yet.

Perfect summer read, a classic police thriller with a young attractive MC and dangerous alpha males buzzing around her.
Emma Calin is a talented writer and if I gave her only 4 stars on this one, it isn't because it's not as good as the ones preceding it (it is) or for some reason doesn't deserve 5 stars. It does deserve them (and how!) for the genre the book is written in. People who love police detective fiction will love this! But I am still hoping that Emma Calin will devote her huge talent to a more literary endeavor (disclosure: thrillers are not my favorite, I much prefer literary novels) - hence the missing star here, it's a nudge in the hope that Emma Calin will one day respond and produce the Big Novel I am waiting for!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "POWER" WOW!!!!! What an awsome series this is its an excellent thrilling crime mystery, captivating, suspense, intrigue, violence, danger, hot steamy passion, danger, intense drama with a few twists that keep you on the edge of your seat.
Olivia Johnson-Denny is a feisty, strong, sexy Scottish Lassie and a cop whose only been on the job a short while.
Olivia meets Jackson T Paine who's a hot sexy as sin cowboy running as a candidate for Pesident on the streets when a homeless man whose got a knife and she takes him down protecting him.
Olivia is training to be Special Forces and is being trained by a tactical expert she's given the job to protect Jackson after he'd been attacked.
Jackson who is a little to honest has some people not interested on him getting the Presidency it's not in their interest .
This is absolutely a must have book so well written by Emma Calin and she writes strong amazing characters it was great to have some of the characters from previous book's in this story.
I definitely recommend to get this series it won't disappoint so well worth the read Emma Calin really knows how to pull her readers right into the story and not let go until finished.

Jackson T. Paine is an all American farm boy who is being tipped as a possible Presidential candidate. He is just far too honest for some people to allow that to happen. His diplomatic trip to London could end all his prospects one way or another. This is an exciting romantic suspense that moves so fast it makes your head spin. Our heroine hardly gets time to have a glass of wine. Our sexy hero just might have more woman than he can handle.

Can a lassie rookie police constable find happiness in a U. S. Congressman?
Olivia Johnston-Denny, a fresh police constable, checks on a homeless guy near the end of shift. Only he threatens her with a carving knife. Walking by is Congressman Jackson T. Paine who sees and acts. He takes down the guy.
Olivia is an intelligent feminist on the police fast-track. Then this incident throws things out of whack, and messes up her day job. He throws Olivia for a loop as well. They keep running into each other, and he can't get her out of his system even though is a likely presidential candidate.
This exciting romantic suspense had me eager to read what was coming next. It was also fun to revisit some characters of past novels in this series though one could easily read this as a stand-alone. I suspect you will enjoy seeing where the wee lassie leads her cowboy.

This is a really good series! They can be read as standalones but it's really nice seeing how they all fit together. This is Olivia & Jackson's story. She's a rookie cop in London and he's running for President of the United States. They meet on the street while Olivia is subduing a man with a knife. Then the press gets hold of it and all bets are off. Olivia is thrust into a position that she had no idea even existed. There are lots of steamy scenes and plenty of action (not sexual!) scenes. It's a really intense ride! Loved it!

I enjoyed this book. I did feel that some of the things that happened, i.e. spoiling the assassination of a politician by finding a stolen truck, was over the top.
I understand hot romantic suspense can get graphic but felt the dialogue during these scenes was gratuitous and stilted.
The storyline was fun and the characters had diverse personalities that shone through irrelevant of what was happening.

Protecting the great future president
Jackson is a different type of politic he is all of truth but in doing so there are a ton of people ready to kill him any way possible. Lucky for him he has a awesome invincible woman at his side that could be more than a protector. She has had to lean as she go's and ask questions later. This book is a roller coaster and couldnt possibly know the ending till the end

Full of passion and intrigue
Loved this Passion Patrol book as much as the others. Really enjoy the story lines for this series with the feisty, intelligent, smart, gorgeous and wickedly funny women and the alpha men who fall under their spells. Great read - really looking forward to the next instalment.

Power is a good read full of mystery, suspense and steamy scenes. I enjoyed Power #9 better than Guilt #1.

Non stop action and wonderful quotes to refer to

I read the book, but the audiobook adds another aspect, narrated in both the English, Scottish and American accents, making the various characters become alive, three dimensional human beings.
This is what I wrote about the book:
This is an extremely fast paced action pact tale, of the Scottish born, British cop, encountering an American Senator, in the middle of a situation, where a knife wielding homeless guy is threatening her.
Unfortunately, this leads a life changing sequence of events, where the poor woman didn't know which way was up, but even so, she was always one step ahead of the bad guys.
I won't go into further detail, as that will ruin a good story.
Ms Calin has written a number of books, all with extremely capable women, who are ready to step up and take the lead, whenever the need arises. Their alpha male counterparts are nothing short of drawl-worthy, and together, as partners, they become formidable opponents to those with evil intent.
