A warm reflection by a beloved evangelist who was inspired to write after receiving a grim health report. Palau revisits his intriguing journey by focusing on the key people who provided life giving advice, love and role models.
There is an underlying positive focus to this book. It is simple truth accentuated by the writer’s reflections on his Vibrant faith. He is gracious and candid. There are many salient moral, spiritual and social issues addressed. Most importantly, there is a loving call to embrace the loving Savior.

I cannot say enough good things about this book! It is not just a book about the evangelist Luis Palau, but it is a book that will challenge you to walk closer to Jesus every day, and to share His love with others. It is a very interesting book that had my attention from the beginning, as well as being a very informative story. It is a biography, and a book on Christian living.

Fabulous and inspiring story of a great evangelist for the Lord, includes his rising from the depths of poverty in Argentina to worldwide ministry. His reflections on the kindness of Pastor Ray Steadman and the impact Major Ian Thomas (Thomas' "The Saving Life of Christ" is a must read for Christians) had on his life and ministry are amazing. Chapter 11 of this book, on his facing death after a cancer diagnosis, is especially poignant. A fantastic book.

Luis's voice comes through strongly in this well-written memoir about the people who influenced his life and reflections on his life and ministry as he anticipates being reunited with his father in heaven and meeting his heavenly Father.
I was encouraged by his faith and his gospel presentation that flows so naturally in his thought process throughout the book. I admired his wisdom and insights for older and younger generations.

An outstanding humble story of how Christ can use you.
I greatly enjoyed Luis' frank honesty and humor describing how God used a farm boy beyond his wildest dreams to spread the good news of the gospel. He has taken great pains to give due credit to his team who served from the shadows. I recommend this book to everyone.

Delightful read. Such a sweet and energetic spirit. His love for the Lord, His people, and the Gospel is radiant. I'm particularly thrilled with his chapters on the Church (10) and on Death (11). The audio book concludes with an interview well worth hearing. For my local friends, the audio book is available on Hoopla with a Greenville County Public Library membership.

I enjoyed reading about the life of Luis Palau. It was especially interesting to me since he lives in our general community and his home church is close to us. I look forward to our next Book Club where Pat Palau will be a guest.

Blessed by his life
So interesting to learn about his life. He is candid about his struggles and how the Lord has been with him at every step. He preaches the simple Good News just like Jesus.

Great book. It is a untraditional biography about lessons palau learned along the way in being an evangelist. I loved how he challenged the audience to go further in their walks with god.

This is such a moving book, full of beautiful quotes, and is written in such a gentle, humble style that it made me love this godly man. I was very touched by his stories of Mission to London in 1984 as these meetings at Loftus Road had a profound affect on me as a teenager. So good - thoroughly recommended
