I liked it. I really did but this one wasn't as good as the first two. I love the brother but when they are all together you have to read carefully to k own who's talking because all the C name can confuse you. But it was a good read though.
It's review time 🎧 Overall 4 🌟 Warning ⚠️ : vengeance, motorcycle gang Narrator score🎧 ; both narrator's were grat, I adore Chris Chambers, his voice is brilliant and very beautiful. His preference is incredible, as well as Sarah's voice the combo is incredible.
Level of steam🔥: the book is hot! And the moments are very steamy. I liked it a lot. It wasn't too much and you had the story to focus on, but you did had some very hot moments.
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: sometimes I ask myself why I have to write this category, but it is important in my mind to know the level of anxiety that a book can give us, but I really don't know what to write in here, yeah you had some very sad moments, but maybe the way they were written weren't that bad, I don't know how to explain it. But yes you had, death, revenge, abuse, and yet it didn't show the horror as well as i would have wanted.
The book itself📖: the book is the 3rd in a series, I read the first book and it was nice and very well written, but this book is somehow better (I didn't read the second book, the books are totally stand alones) The story of the "Traitor " was good, the character was very good and realistic. I liked the way he treated women and especially the MC. The book was definitely better than the first one in the series makes me want to grab the second one as well. I did had some issues with it, but i think it's the writing. When you write terrible things I think you need to give a break and let the reader feel it. But overall all a good book.
I've loved this series but in the first 2 books Crew came across as spoiled and impulsive. Well hes definitely grown up in this book! I thought Jailbait was my favourite but I think Traitor may have just pipped them at the post!
I liked Drea, not as much as the other FMC's in this series. I thought she would have been a bit of a stronger character being an undercover DEA agent, however I also think if she was a dominant personality ger relationship with Crew may not work as well with her being 7 years older so it does actually balance out.
There is more sex in this book compared to the first 2 but it works well in the story line.
Overall it's been another great read and cant wait for Clutch's story!
The first two books were good. This one was not. I was expecting Drea, being a DEA agent to be more of a badass. She was a complete wimp ! Took all the spank out of the story. Usually I don't mind the age gap thing but this time it just didn't make sense. I almost gave up at some point but be being me, I had to finish this book. What made me almost toss the book at the wall was that chapter 25 was titled Cord when it should be Crew. How can the editor miss that is beyond me.
DNF - So book one had no sex. This one has A LOT - exponential PDA; this isn't bad just very unexpected.
Where this book failed: 1.) BJs that hit the back of throat (causing choking) and 2.) having sex in a bar in front of your motorcycle club to prove your not interested in another woman. NOT ROMANTIC. Not even close to being OK with this. Though the "h" was fine with this, making sex uncomfortable and treating it like a trophy to flash around to "prove something" is not OK.
I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first two. First it has a lot more 🌶️spicy scenes then the first two so a little surprising. Second Drea could've been better, she's older and a DEA agent but she's acting like some teenager that's out of her element. She honestly kind of annoyed me, there was so much potential especially as a woman who chose such a hard career line. It ended up being fine and there was a lot revealed just not as good.
I was mad at the title. I was hoping desperately it was wrong. I thought Crew out of all of the brothers was the most innocent and I was partially right. He totally grew up in the book and I loved it. Drea is good for him and I’m glad he did something ridiculous to meet her. This is a good one.
Crew is the youngest in many ways he seemed more ruthless than his older brothers. Drea was a perfect match for him in my opinion. I really like that all of the women in this series are fighters also and don’t look down on the MC even if they break the law, it gets tiresome reading about a woman that can’t accept the lifestyle but tries to anyway.
Crew did his best to keep his promise to Deacon and himself to take care of Norah. He ended up finding love while doing it. I love Drea and Crew together. Their age gap is perfect. There were so many secrets that came out in this book. Can’t wait to read Clutches book.
Great continuation of a good family story. Just enough MC action to entertain and a beautiful love story. Really liked how characters from her other books were included.
I must say out of the series Crew and Dreas story was my favorite. I loved them all but definitely Crew and Drea. Love clutch can’t wait for his book. I really want to know who left Deacons phone. Hopefully it will be revealed in clutch’s story.
Crew is living with the guilt of Deacon’s death, causing him to start riding with the Viper MC club. Drea is undercover trying to get enough evidence to put the president of the Viper club away for good. Can these two work together to put a bad man away?
I really enjoyed these books. They were a pleasure to read. A lot of suspense, fear, and happiness 'll rolled in to one. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to many more.
So Kristin kicked this series up several notches with this one! So many revelations so many twists and turns that let to an explosion, literally! I can't wait for Cluch's story.
This one was kind hard to follow but a good story none the less! The fact that the main guy was after everyone over sight that had nothing to do with the Rebels was weird!
I love this series of books and honestly can’t wait for the next installment. Someone give me a chance here. My emotions have been on a roller coaster.
An intoxicating, heart pounding and gratifying roller coaster ride to go on with Crew and Drea. I enjoyed going on this thrilling ride with them. Good story!
