Dirty Girl Duet #1-2

Dirty Girl Duet (The Dirty Girl Duet)

Rate this book
MP3 CD Format Dirty Girl Desperately seeking rich, famous, single guy with a giant c*ck to make my lying, cheating, should've-been-born-d*ckless ex-boyfriend realize what he's just lost. Oh, and I give great head. Just sayin'. No man in his right mind would answer that ad. Except thousands did. My name is Greer Karas, and I should never be allowed near another bottle of booze again. Because when I drink, my friend and I do stupid things. Like take a page out of my older brother Creighton's playbook and post something completely asinine on the Internet. Waking up with a giant hangover to find my humiliating personal ad has gone viral is not my finest moment. Cue my look of shock when one of the movie industry's hottest new bad boys, Cavanaugh Westman, comes knocking at my door and drops his pants to prove that he does indeed have a giant c*ck. What he doesn't have is an explanation for why he disappeared from my life without a word three years ago, only to show up on the big screen two years later, killing bad guys in action flicks. Now he wants me again. What do I do now? Dirty Love Greer Karas has been mine since the first day I saw her. I walked away because she deserved better than I could offer, but I always planned to come back and stake my claim when the time was right. But true to form, Greer wasn't willing to wait. She threw down a challenge, and I'm meeting her head-on. I'm not walking away this time because sometimes you have to fight dirty for love.

4 Solid Stars! I listened to the Audible version of this book narrated by Elena Wolfe & Sebastian York and it was absolute perfection as always. This story was exciting, fast-paced, and vibrantly written. While I love discovering new authors and findings new worlds, there is nothing to me like the trusted ones. Meghan March is one of those for me. 💞

I'm obsessed with these audiobooks. I love that the characters do cameos in the other books in the series! This is Greer and Cav's story, and it's delightful. Not as good as Cray and Holly or Boone and Ripley's, but very enjoyable. A bit predictable, but that's fine. The dirty talking and smut more than make up for it. 🥵

I love Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York - they do a wonderful job with bringing these characters to life. It's a joy to listen to them!

The Sublime and the Ridiculous
Nobody marries the sublime and ridiculousness of our guilty pleasures quite like Meghan March. She just digs right into the darkest corners of our minds (where we're afraid to shine any light), and drags those crazy thoughts right out into the open! That's when the real fun begins... and it always does with her books. What truly amazes me is that after all the books of hers that I've read, this author can STILL find a way to make me blush, squirm, and have a case of the vapors while reading her tantalizing works.

This duet. Well, it's got the heat and sizzle going on in spades. Sweet spa and steam room, is it ever going on. Our girl Greer has some genuine First World problems happening, and really needs to break up with booze as she keeps threatening to do. But her Bestie has a way of derailing her from her more sober thoughts and plopping her right back on the road to alcohol-induced idiocy. Just when things couldn't possibly get any worse... well, you know they're going to. But how could "worse" involve one of Hollywood's hottest leading men knocking on your door and dropping his knickers?? Why can't I have "problems" like this???

But, alas, that hottie, AKA Cavanaugh Westman, really is a major complication. But a d@mn fine one. Cue the insanity and the hotter-than-Satan's-skippies shower scenes, because Greer and Cav have some of the best chemistry happening in North (and Central) America.

Once again this author proves why she's the queen of all things hot and spicy. Her personal recipe for erotic naughtiness, damaged characters, and intelligent dirty talk, all with a touch of angst and a heavy dose of face palming humor is pure pleasure.

I enjoyed this for the most part, but my gosh did Grier get on my nerves. She is an absolute idiot, time and time again. No heiress would post the kind of drivel on social media that she did, no matter how drunk. She doesn’t learn. I hate that she was so unhappy Cav lied to her and then she lies to him right at the end, once they’ve said they love each other and they are finally supposed to be a team, all to save face. She is a liar and a coward and she doesn’t deserve him. Another thing that’s off: A lawyer would never bargain with a criminal, let alone believe one. She apparently didn’t know what he had done, despite being his lawyer? Grier has zero character development. She is the same selfish idiot at the end as she was in the beginning. A few things that ruined what could have otherwise been a good book. She doesn’t think for herself, even at the end. She runs to her friend and brother and even sister in law, and then asks her to lie to her husband!? All this rather than speak with the only person she is supposed to actually trust. She knows Cav is the son of a mob boss and is surprised he killed someone? The last 10% of the book was the absolute worst. The sex is hot and has mild bdsm themes.

Really cute!
The story definitely left several Easter eggs along the way which kept the reader guessing about what the conclusions & plot twists would be, but they weren’t overly obvious or predictable.
I will admit that I still had several issues with the condescending way that Greer was treated by her brother & by Cav. Her brother especially treated her like a small child & I really couldn’t stand that.
I also found it hypocritical for Cav for demand forgiveness without him providing any kind of explanation whatsoever, and then for doubling down on his duplicity. And then for him to go all alpha gorilla & get pissed when she made an attempt to grow a damn backbone.
I know I recently read a story with Banner as the MC but I can’t think of the title. I’ve gotta find it & maybe re-read it to see if/how these characters show up in it. She’s so much fun! Best BFF ever.

Greer is unlikable to the point that she ruined this book. There were also so many side plots that made this story incredibly tedious. How tf could she be a lawyer with that self centered personality? The world revolves around poor Greer who has it all, gets even more, and still is unhappy in life. She doesn’t appreciate anything. She’s over dramatic and has the maturity and common sense of a tadpole. I don’t know why the mmc wants her ditzy ass. The whole mafia turned actor is also bizarre. Like it wasn’t even a dream for him. It just doesn’t fit. There was also no need for the side story with the man in jail. Just ugh. This one frustrated me so much. I’ve been binge reading a lot of her books and they all resolve with less than 5% of the book left- and with a dilapidated epilogue. I think I’m done with her books.

Libby - For someone who is supposed to be an attorney she is dumb AF! Not to mention the little plot twists that were unnecessary and didn't even wrap them up. These books sucked.

I’d give it 3.5 stars, the smut would be a solid 4 though. The story was just… not bad, but I also wasn’t totally invested for some reason. Like I didn’t fully believe how the characters felt for each other, does that make sense?? Idk. Also- soooo confusing with half of the male characters having ridiculous names that start with the letter C. I had to rewind multiple times to remember who was who. But anyway, MMC was a hot sexy protective king with 10/10 dirty talk. Don’t regret the purchase, but wish it would’ve been a liiiiittle better.

It’s hot hot hot!
They’re so many fantastic twists and turns in Cavanaugh and Greer’s story which is a spin-off from The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy, which I recommend you read before you read this.
I’m having so much fun working my way through Meghan March‘s book list especially when the characters and storylines intermingle as these do.

3.5 stars. This series honestly felt rushed & the author gave us so much detail she could have worked with.

I loved Cav, and I’m starting to worry if I’m blurring some lines with these alpha male characters.

A relatively boring story with kinks that were not for me. Stars for Meghan's writing because I really like her other two series, and the way those characters made it into this duet.

I only picked this up because the audiobook was available from my library, but holy spice Batman. I haven’t heard a thing about this book or this author on booktok which is shocking, because she is so spicy. Spice is 10 out of 10. Story is like three at a time. But that’s OK, would for sure read again

Dirty Duet is a continuation of the Dirty Series. This is Greer’s story, sister of Creighton Karas. Starts with a drunken on line tweet by Greer and best friend Bannon. This tweet catapults to a series of mishaps from a lost love, (who is now one of Hollywood’s hunk actors); to a runaway get away tropical island; hiding out in Holly’s old hometown res; being kidnapped and finally ending up in California. Lets not forget the wrath of her brother, Creighton. There is some confusion on the part of Creighton’s long time best friend COO, EVP, Cannon. Cannon in all of the prior books was referred to as Cannon Freeman but in Dirty Girl he’s identified as Cannon Grove. And who told Creighton, Cavanaugh’s is his brother? Was it Cannon? And why didn’t Creighton forgive Cannon, he forgave his step brother Cavanaugh. So much so Cav is godfather to Creighton’s child. Men have this man thing of forgiving, women remember and fight like cats. There are so many unanswered questions. I hope they are all revealed in White Knight because they weren’t in Black Sheep. Or is the author thinking the reader has no memory. The Dirty series read like an extended family crisis. Each had their own story.

The reader can’t love but to laugh at the drunken on line post about a man’s anatomy. The on line post changes both Greer and Bannon’s life forever. This story is about Greer the sister of Dirty Billionaire, Creighton Karas. Bannon’s story in A Reel Good Guy shouldn’t be missed both series are a fun read.
