Statics and applied strength of materials

Rate this book
This book has been written on the assumption that the reader has a working knowledge of algebra and trigonometry and will mature mathematically as he or she goes along. Thus steps will get bigger and the analysis more complicated as the text advances. The early usage is light enough to serve as an introduction to calculus, or even to be ignored altogether if desired. As the book proceeds to strength of materials, however, the use of calculus and the level of mathematical sophistication increases.
