This book is a good summary of a life of a horse. It discusses where they live, what they look like, what they eat, and what they do for fun. The pictures of the horses are real life and show the children what they are reading. The pictures also provide a wide variety of horses. I especially like the end of the book when it labels the parts of the horse. This would be good to use in the classroom when we discuss different animals.
