Then he discovers it’s his mate, and nothing will stop him from claiming what is his, and ensuring her alpha receives retribution for the pain he caused her.An alpha’s challenge threatens everything Kacie and Sloan hold dear. Will the pack survive, and more importantly, will she be able to remain in her mate’s arms.Devil’s EndOrphan Emma Morgan, inexperienced in the ways of the world, finds herself alone in the Wild West gold mining town of Devil's End, an outlaw settlement where men considerably outnumber women. Elisa hints at dark secrets in the town before telling Emma that she must work to pay her way if she wishes to continue to live in the safety and security of Elisa's luxurious home. Emma soon learns that Elisa's House of Goodwill is a brothel and paying her way means working as a prostitute, servicing the ravenous and insatiable man-wolves of Devil's End. However, one man is different. Raven Black is a shapeshifter, as are most of the men of Devil's End, but Raven is not like the others. Raven leads the winged ones rather than the wolves. He has the power to rise above the constraints of this dead-end town and he wants to take Emma with him. However, can Emma trust Raven and is she willing to allow herself to be rescued? And will Marcus, the jealous alpha male of a rival pack of shapeshifters, allow it to happen?

*Into The Moonlight - This is a shifter story about a werewolf Kaleb and the human he comes to love Aya. Danger finds them in the form of a violent werewolf Skry, who killed Kaleb’s alpha father and now wants to know where the rest of Kaleb’s family is. There is a HEA but a lot happens first. This is a good story and I enjoyed it. *In Her Mate’s Arms - Kacie leaves her violent pack after being hit by her alpha and informed she would marry as ordered. She seeks out a safe house where she finds her mate Sloan. Dane, her old alpha tries to get her back, a violent fight he losses and still he refuses to accept change. This is a beautiful love story and it is well written. *Devil’s End - Emma raised in an orphanage, ends up in a brothel after her employers were killed in a fire. Unknown to her, the town she is in is full of shifters who frequent the brothel where the only women are. Raven takes her virginity before leaving town but he can’t get her out of his mind. He returns for her but danger lurks from a wolf shifter who also wants Emma. There is a HEA but it doesn’t come easy.
Ok, I'm new to world of wolves and shapeshifters but I really liked this book. The three stories were all very differently (obvs. written by different authors) and a quick read on their own. I think I can call myself a convert.
Enjoyable read, Three very different stories and I did enjoy the old-timey Devil's End. Good to have a different spin on a genre that can tend to follow a standard template. Well done and will now look at Silver Wolves edition.
This book features stories by Tracey Lynn Tobin, Mary Winter, and Chastity Blayne. Below is a review of Mary Winter’s story to give you an idea of what they are like.
*** Reviewing IN HER MATE’S ARMS by Mary Winter *** Kacie Wentworth dreaded the upcoming meeting with her alpha. She was the last unmated female, but she refused to be submissive to anyone, even the Hat Rocks alpha! Their pack was dying out. Dane, the alpha, was not a very inspiring leader. His place reeked of cigarette smoke, had trash, ashes, and newspapers all over the place, beer cans toppling off the tables, and he was sitting bare-chested, unwashed, with his bulk overflowing the recliner. He announced to her that Carter’s brother was joining the pack and she was going to be his mate. She refused, knowing it could mean exile. When she tried to speak, he smacked her so hard she flew across the room knocking down a box of empty beer cans. The door opened and a stranger walked in, helping her up and leading her out of the cabin while the alpha blustered. He introduced himself as Sloan Dundrick, but she refused his help and returned to her apartment to pack and relocate to Lime Kiln territory. Her alpha had crossed a line this time.
By the time she packed and was ready to leave, Kacie got a text that Iron Horse Pack offered her a safe place. Sloan had gotten a page on the all-points bulletin about her fleeing the pack and he arranged for her safety. He had met her the previous year but his alpha reminded him the Hat Rocks alpha would not permit marriages he didn’t choose. He had come there to ask the alpha about seeing her when he saw him strike her. She was his mate and it was all he could do to keep from challenging the alpha.
Kacie went into the secured safe house and settled in. She finally remembered Sloane and regretted that he was back at her old pack. But a knock sounded and it was Sloane. He told her he was on the safety team with Shifters United. Her wolf told her their mate cares for them, and she felt a bit of panic! A mate would complicate things. But she saw how kind he was. He told her he wanted to see her, but she could set the pace and he would not push her. He would even check with a pack member about a job similar to the one she had been doing. She meant to give him a quick kiss, but as soon as their lips touched, a fire lighted inside of her and her wolf cried MATE! Perhaps she had found her home at last? Until a challenge threatens her happiness with her mate.
These are interesting stories that give the reader a new “take” on shifters and something to think about. I enjoyed the stories and think they were done well. Give them a try!
Into the Moonlight----Aya works at a mill in the back of beyond. One night she has to go to the roof to fix a pipe. There she meets a man who at first scares her. He says his name is Kaleb. He is clad only in shorts that look torn off. He acts as if he is having withdrawal symptoms and says he;s hungry. The next night Aya brings alot of food to work with her. After he thanks her on the roof she asks him questions. The answers will either have her running or helping. Can they make a life with the past running to catch up with them.
In Her Mate;s Arms---Kacie is about to have a meeting with her alpha and is dreading it. She considers leaving and going North to Shifters United. She is ordered to mate with a wolf coming in that they sent for. No details nothing only she needs to mate to produce pups to grow the pack. When she refuss he hits her. A young male wolf sees and helps Kacie up . She decides to leave and go to Shifters United. There she runs into him again and her wolf decides to jump up and down screaming mate. She feels like it;s the last thing she needs. Meanwhile Sloan is excited because he new a year ago she was his mate. But he needs to take it slow. But life doesn;t always go smoothly and these two find that out.
Devil’s End---It;s the 1800s and Emma is with the Reverend Fink and his wife out in the goldfields where he is to preach the word to the heathens working there. One male eyes Emma, a guy named Harry. The second night there the house they are in burns to the ground leaving only Emma alive. Miss Elise appears and takes her in hand. Now Emma is in a house that she thinks is set for charity with other women helping out there. Life is going to throw some big surprises her way.
Each story is unique to itself and very interesting to read.

These stories are all well written and have a good plot. The first one is hard to read with the cruel treatment to Lara by Skry and his pack. The second one I liked better. Kacie had endured abuse verbally and mentally for a long time. When her Alpha hit her she said enough and left. A lot of women would have stayed and took it. I was proud of Kacie when she made a phone call and left. The third story is different in that Emma lived in 1851. At that time women did not have much that they could do. Men used them and abused them if they wanted. But I still think that Elisa took advantage of her. I liked the ending of the story but Emma did have a hard time.I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review. Into The Moonlight: by Tracey Lynn Tobin Skry is not stable. I think that when Lara turned him his mind snapped. I also think that Skry torched Lara and she slid into a fantasy world. Skry made more like himself. Kaleb was born a wolf and Aya became a made wolf. She was not crazy. Aya turned and the wolf wanted to hurt the ones who hurt her. I think that they will be very happy. In Her Mate's Arms: by Mary Winter Living in the stone age is not good. Times have changed and there is no room for old time thinking and doing things. With that kind of attuned it can and will do more harm. Tair apart people and family. Just bad all the way around. This story is one of those that can be a learning exercise. Coming out of the old and embracing the new way of thinking. Devil's End: by Chastity Blayne This story is very different, but in a strange way the same. Emma had and is beaning taken advantage of, at least to me it seems that way. In the end Emma had her Alpha and mate.
Three exciting paranormal stories by great authors. Three amazingly different paranormal stories by Tracey Lynn Tobin, Mary Winter and Chastity Blayne Into the Moonlight Anya worked nights doing maintenance on the mill and was up on the roof working on a stuck valve when she sees yellow eyes then a figure appears, Kaleb has been on the run from the rogue who killed his father to take over the family pack but while the fight was going on Kaleb had got the rest away. Now the rogue and the werewolves he had made were after him to find out where the rest of the pack is located. Anya helps him with food and takes him to her home but this brings danger to her. In Her Mate’s Arms Kacie to see her Alpha Dane to try and talk him into joining Shifters United as the pack was getting so small but when she got there he had a different agenda. He informed her that a pack mate had a brother coming and she was to be his mate. Kacie tells him no and he backhands her giving her a black eye then a stranger steps into the house who escorts her to her car and introduces himself as Sloan Dundrick. She drove home packed a bag and reached out to the Shifters United helpline. Devils End In 1851 Emma arrives in Devil’s End with her employers the Reverend Fink and his wife. As soon as they arrive in town they are surrounded by hungry looking men but make it to the cabin where they are to live but the next morning finds herself being dragged out of a burning building. She is taken in by Elisa Chinchilla who owns Elisa’s House of Goodwill. Emma is unaware it is a house of ill repute and she will be expected to earn her keep.

This book is comprised of three short stories by three different authors. The first book, "Into the Moonlight," is about Aya, a woman who works nights in a mill, and Kaleb, a wolf shifter. I liked parts of the story but not other parts. The story felt stilted at the beginning and didn't feel that well developed. A part of the story was gruesome and another part was steamy. The second book, "In Her Mate's Arms," was the best book of the three. Kacie was in a pack with an abusive, old school Alpha. The Alpha has decided she has to mate the brother of his second in command. He smacks her across the face when she argues with him. As she leaves, she runs into Sloan, a man from another pack that has come to talk to her Alpha. Kacie packs some of her belongs and calls the Shifters United hotline for battered shifters. She is sent to a safe house and runs into Sloan there. The story takes off from there as her old Alpha tries to finagle a way to bring her back. Book three, "Devil's End," is set in 1851. Eighteen year old Emma is taken to the town of Devil's End by a preacher and his wife. There is a fire the first night there and the pastor and his wife die. Emma is taken in by the town's madame. As Emma tries to adjust to her new life, she learns about shifters and problems ensue. There are challenges on the way towards a HEA. For the most part, books one and three were just okay for me and book two was a bit better. I wouldn't spend more that $0.99 for the bundle.
There are three stories to introduce Night Wolves. The first, Into the Moonlight, starts slowly as characters are revealed, but the pace quickens once they leave the factory. Reactions are vividly described, the scenes assault all the senses. I enjoyed how two people who start out meek and subservient end up all alpha fangs and claws when danger threatens their mate. The second, In Her Mate's Arms, shows the struggle between traditional shifters whose alpha's word is law and those in in the Shifters Alliance who believe in shifter rights. Freedom from brutality, forced separation of mated pairs, or forced marriages are just the beginning, but sound a death knell to the old way. Great story, great characterization, and a vivid depiction of alpha's battling. Devil's End sounds a warning to any innocents who enter a shifter's town. The beasts are savage, whether on two legs or four. The descriptions of shifters are cleverly done in identifying their lupine, feline or avian nature, but it is not as well written as the first two stories. I did not care for this story nor its portrayal of women.
Be aware these are extremely dark and abusive stories.
Chastity Blayne has woven three dark stories of sadness, hope and love in this Night Wolves book. There is no happiness except for the good love they all crave. If all of her stories are this dark, I may not read anymore. Hopefully not, as she created characters that definitely had you hoping they escaped into a happier and better life.
Quickly, here are the three stories:
An insane werewolf alpha that believes murder and torture are perfect methods for a pack leader.
An old lazy alpha determines who and when people marry, love doesn't matter. Everyone left is afraid to say or do anything because he will use violence to enforce his orders.
Set in an1851 gold town run by shifters, a female's value is based on one commodity only - her expertise in the oldest profession. This is definitely a dark and HEA story surrounded with a short plot.
I am giving three stars as the author did create characters that you want to hope get a better life; and this book does make you think about what happens behind closed doors.

A great collection of three stories written by Mary Winters, Tracey Tobin and Chastity Blayne the first book is
INTO THE MOONLIGHT by Tracy Tobin She works among men that leave her cold but when she meets Kaleb she finds a shifter with a different take on life Should he leave her alone or drag her into the mess that is his life as he searches for his old alpha but when her kindness helps his heart he knows that he is a goner IN HER MATE"S ARMS By Mary Winter She is on the run from an abusive alpha and uses shifter's alliance to escape but when she discovers her mate is one of the pack members that run the safe house she may decide to stay When he realise she is his mate he will pay her alpha so he can keep her DEVIL"S END by Chastity Blayne Sentebced to a life of servitude as a prostitute will he mate a meber of the winged ones be able to keep her safe in this story set in an old gold mining town
These books where a;ll a great read differebt enough that they can be read one after the other i would recommend this as a great value set
I love books that include stories from different authors, giving variety to one topic of interest. In the first book, Into the Moonlight, I dived into immediately and really enjoyed. A wolf on the run finding his mate, but the alpha is out to get him. Action packed with a slight fright, great read. Second book, In her Mates Arms, needing to run from an abusive situation, Kacie uses the new shifter network to hide and discovers her mate while in hiding. A sweet love that lifts the heart and the bad guy gets what coming to him. The third book, Devil's End, had a harder time reading. A very naive young woman, left alone in a mining town with a bunch of hungry men, what else is she supposed to do but go home with the Madam and earn her keep. Didn't really get the vibe of a romance just fulfilling base need. I felt there could've been more lead up, romance perhaps.

These three stories are an interesting mix. I think my favourite is the second story, in her mates arms. A female werewolf leaves her pack and meets her mate when her alpha hits her. Lots of drama and action. Really good. The story into the moonlight involves a human woman, working in a mill, and a werewolf hiding there. She befriends him, feeds him, and they fall in love. A sweet story with some action. The last story, Devils end, was a bit confronting for me. A girl loses her home and the two people who care for her in a fire in a rough wild west town, the local madam takes her to the brothel, and she becomes a whore the same night. I didn’t really like the very abrupt transition, but the story had a happy ending, as did all the stories in this collection.

The first two stories in the book were very good. Into the Moonlight by Tracey Lynn Tobin and In Her Mate’s Arms by Mary Winter are both unusual and interesting stories about wolf shifters. In the first our heroine is human who finds herself attracted to an alpha male trying to keep his pack safe. In the second, we have two wolves neither of whom are alphas in the standard sense. The third story by Chastity Blane left me just meh. Our heroine is pretty simple and I didn’t get a sense of romance with any of the males involved in the story. Two out of three is not too bad, but the third could have been left out of this collection.

Three authors have each contributed a dark werewolf romance to this collection. A wolf on the run from his psychotic alpha meets his mate while hiding out at the paper mill she works nights at. Or the she wolf who meets her mate while seeking shelter from an abusive alpha. Or the call girl rescued by a raven pack alpha from a diabolical wolf shifter pack and their controlling abusive alpha. Three para romances each with a touch of the dark side of the shifter world. I enjoyed reading this book. Very entertaining.

I'm a huge fan of shifter romance and this box set of stories was a wonderful read. Each storyline had suspense and drama. The characters get to finally find their mates. Aya and kaleb have sexual tension from the start along with the problems that comes along. Kacie and Sloan have their problems and an awesome love story. Emma and Raven also have drama to get through along with their chemistry. These are books you will want to read several times later on. Each one is a great paranormal/shifter romance.

3 short stories, about 50-60 pages each. First story about creating werewolves and saving the pack, Second book about mates and saftey from abusive mates or alphas. Third about different types of shifters their secrets and survive being told she'll have to earn her keep in the brothel. Stories are OK I am no a fan of shorts as they do not have enough depth.

This is a collection of three short books with alpha wolf shifters. They are all great reads and contain some dark romance. Some interesting characters, some of whom have chemistry and others seem to be lacking it. With each book being written by a different author it means that they are all individual books, each with a specific style. Overall a great read! Wow Mary Winter you have done it again this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. Who doesn’t love a shifter romance you’ll shore to love this one. Will they find love or will it all go wrong to find out what happens go buy the book you won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

Three different shifter stories by three different authors, each story is a stand-alone with interesting well-drawn characters and interesting storylines. I preferred the first two stories to the third one, that's not to say that any of them were bad just my personal preference, I preferred the writing style in the first two stories. This is a great way to read and find new authors, so if you are a fan of shifters which I admit I am then this book is for you.
A collection of shorter stories some of them with good basic ideas but most with more sex than substance. If you are looking for " hot" stories then this may be right for you but if you want to get to know the characters you may be disappointed. Different stories for different tastes

This is a set of 3 short books by 3 different authors. They are all paranormal romance I thought the storylines were too short and needed expanded. The characters were not strong and I really couldn’t relate to them. In short, I was disappointed.
