The No-Limits Enterprise: Organizational Self-Management In The New World Of Work by Doug Kirkpatrick is a timely book that breaks down the traditional barriers in the workplace. There is a dramatic shift taking place in the business world and Kirkpatrick details just how that shift affects each and every one of us. With traditional management style going away, a more intuitive style is presenting itself, one that allows for more engagement from the employee and one that enhances their happiness in the work world. Rather than multiple layers of management, perhaps according to the author the employee should be more autonomous to innovate and more importantly to grow. The book encourages self-assessment to look at ways to make radical changes both professionally and personally. Highly recommend this book for an eye-opening and interesting read.
