His Thug Love Got Me Weak

Rate this book
Birds of a feather flock together, and in Kenya and Valentina’s case, that is definitely true. Both women have had their fair share of heartache and pain in their relationships. Both women have sworn off love out of fear. Kenya, the softer of the two, refuses to date. She wants to take no chances with her heart… until she meets Reign.Reign has his own scars because of love – literally – and he promises to protect her heart. But Kenya isn’t so sure if she can trust him. If he was reckless with his own heart, how could she trust him with hers?Valentina on the other hand has no problem dating. She just refuses to commit. She refuses to love. She refuses to give another man the chance to disappoint her. She succeeds at this for years… until she is forced to spend the weekend with Reign’s best friend, Ace. Valentina doesn’t deny her attraction towards him, but the fact that Ace has made it perfectly clear that he wants a wife and children has Valentina dead set on avoiding him at all costs. Will Valentina succeed, or will Ace make her weak for his love? Will Kenya continue to allow her fear of love to keep her from committing and staying with Reign, or will she surrender to her weakness and place her heart in the hands of a man who has a proven track record of loving and living recklessly?

Me & My Girlfriend

"All I need in this life of sin, is me and my girlfriend. Down to ride to the very end, just me and my girlfriend!" - Tupac
There is no need to really say anything else. Tupac said it all. "Look At Me!" Chiiiiile, I was no more good after that. You hear me! Girl, this book makes me want to tell my story. "Come here, Honey." I'm soaked, lol. B, I ain't effing wit you no mo! Then, Kenya's mother, with her holy, bitter arse, I wanted to punch the stew out of her. Hit her with a brick or somerhing! This was, I don't know what this was. Whatever it was, it was amazing! Just write on wit cho bad self.

Best friends with best friends

Yessss that can definitely go either way but them all so much alike, it's like they all go together. Now I definitely wanted to punch Ace in the face but honestly Erica just was not for him. When you get someone who is truly for you your past relationships all seem wrong fro the start. I loved the no nonsense attitudes of the girls, it just made their relationships that more stronger. Now Karen really pissed me off.. no matter what is happening with your child you should never talk to them in the way she did. Now Reign and Kenya were super lovable. I love the way he handle her but she don't let him walk all over her either. They are sooo freaking cute. Even though this book was written awhile ago, it did not take away from the B. Love we all love!!!

Thugs need love too!

This was a great story. Although Kenya and Reign’s love appeared to happen fast, their struggles said that you really don’t always fully know a person until you take the needed time to explore them. Love is all about communication and trust and without those, there is no relationship. Ace and Valentina were two peas in a pod. They both swore off love and commitment until they couldn’t anymore. If a person is meant for you, you will do everything in your power to get and keep them, including changing your ways. I loved both couples and enjoyed watching them mature and grow together.

Vett

Omg that was so good. The love that Reign and Kenya shared was strong, while she was trying to push him away he wouldn't let her until she gave in to give their love a try. Now her mother was getting on my nerves putting all that non sense in her head I liked the way Reign stepped to her mother without being disrespectful. At first I thought Ace was some kind of dog ass man until you understood his seasonings behind his actions. Erica should have told him before they got married that she couldn't have kids. I'm so glad that V gave him that after her attempts of running away from what she really wanted.

Talk about a roller coaster love...

Reign’s mother was a piece of work, I didn’t like her judgement or resentment, although she called it caring I saw it differently. Now Reign when they said love is patient love is kind they had him in mind because Kenya the back and forth with her indecisiveness gave me whiplash. Now Ace I loved his honesty what he said to Valentina was very true, he loved Erica she just wasn’t for him.Look at how love and connection on a deeper level turned into something so beautiful....

Weak for Love

I loved how hard Kenya and Reign loved on each other. He made her so vulnerable to where she gave him that chance to loved her how she always wanted to be loved. Valentina and Ace loved was also crazy and I loved how one minute her mind was on all the things she didn't want but Ace made her have a change of heart from the love he was pouring into her, to where she didn't have a choice to give all the don't wants to the I want all of this. Great read B.Love always does her thang

Loving Through The Pain

I really like the way that Reign first stepped to Kenya and he pursued her strongly until she gave in and just let him love her. I was iffy about Ace committing to Valentina because he stayed cheating on Erica but Erica should've been honest with Ace about her not being able to have kids before they got married knowing that he wanted a family. Even though this was written three years ago and not as developed as Blove's current writing style...It was STILL a good read and a recommended book to read.

Good read

From the prologue to the last word this book was engaging. Not the typical B Love urban fiction I’ve gotten used to but almost a cross between the urban fiction and the romance. The instant love was a sweet addition and reminded me more of the contemporary romance. I could relate to Kenya and Valentina as they healed from past hurts and limited their current love. It was nice seeing what happens when they cross with alpha’s like Reign and Ace!

Not B. Love’s Best

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love B.Love as an author but this book didn’t quite do it for me. The heroines of the book, Kenya and Valentina were so weak and over the top emotional. They truly worked my nerve the entire book. It’s like once Kenya decided to be with Reign then Valentina picked up right where Kenya left off at with all of that wishy washy drama for no reason stuff. Those two characters ruined the book.

Thug Passion

Reign and Kenya and Valentina and Ace. Complex love sometimes be the deepest kind. Those females would have sent a regular man to counseling or to drink heavily. But we all have our hangups and issues that's what makes the story relatable. And although different from what I've grown accustomed to by the author I enjoyed it just the same.

Awesome Read

Once again, you've shown what true love can truly be! Kenya couldn't be without Reign and would do anything to prove that love. Ace knew what he wanted, but Valentina was afraid to commit. He showed her she couldn't didn't want to be without him. Your words are always amazing. I loved this!

I loved it

Super cute book, very deep and emotional. I loved the poetry, it was so beautiful and deep that it made the scenes and romance between the two come alive. I’m glad ace had a chance to redeem himself and we learned why he did the things he did. Also dude was snitching softly plain and simple but it’s cool tho.

Reign 😍😍

The relationship between Reign and Kenya moved kinda fast but they had their fair share of issues and managed to get through them. I wasn’t expecting Ace to do a 180 like that but I’m glad he did. Thugs need love too.

Loving a Thug

B. Love your writing is amazing. The two couples were so relatable. The plot made the readers fall in love with the alpha males that had the alpha females submitting to their will. Hopefully we will hear more from them.

Great read

This was a really good book. I love how Reign handled Kenya because she needed to live for herself and not for her mother. Valentina was achieved but Ace knew how to handle her as well and I lived that live prevailed. I can't wait till the next book drops.

Loved it

B. Love is a great writer of love. The insecurities, loyalty, trust and love. You touched on all of that and more. You write about stuff people scared to admit or don't recognize. I was surprised about Ace and how he changed for the love he wanted. Really good story.

❤️❤️

I fell in love with book in the first chapter. So many woman experience heartbreak then cut themselves off from love. They don’t to love or be loved. It’s beautiful thing when a woman has been hurt yet finds the strength to love again! This book was everything!

Loved It 💕

Idk who to start with first lol

Valentina had A LOT of hurt in her and then getting back with.... yea I didn't see that going well because although she said it was one thing it wasn't. She had mannish ways about her.

Ace: ehhhh I didn't care for him at first, but as the book went on I saw his growth and he became a fave.

Kenya: lil baby was so indecisive laawwwddd I wanted to box her every time she flip flopped when it came to Reign. Like grandma used to say either you gon in or you gon be out, but you ain't gon run back and forth. Her mama got on ALLLLL my nerves! Mama need to let her own hurt go.

Reign: He wasn't wrapped too tight lol and he didn't have a problem letting anybody know he aint play about Kenya. He loved her sumn serious.

Overall I enjoyed the book.
