The Basement In My Attic is Shane Koyczan's 9th book, and 5th collection of poetry. This collection travels the landscape of memory. The light and shadow that exists in the things we try to find space for. We search for space to among the other dusty antiques of emotion that we have felt along the way. The joy of love, the pain of its absence. There are boxes of long held silences with family. There are old suitcases stuffed with the grace of friendship. They are the things we keep to remember, and the things we hide away to remember.
