Persuade Me is another winner in the Lady Guardians series. Ebony and Cole have been dancing around each other for over a year but never seemed to get past the morning hello's. When Ebony finds herself in need of help, Cole comes to her rescue and decides he likes staying as close as he can get to Ebony which is just fine with her, especially since someone seems intent on ending her life. Cole is not gong to let that happen and will take down anyone who tries to take away his new found happiness which just so happens to be in Ebony's arms.
This fast paced story is full of great characters , some form past Lady Guardians books. I loved this couple and the chemistry between the two is undeniable. Ebony's mom and her fellow Lady Guardians adds a little more spice to the story which makes for a sometimes funny but always entertaining read with a lot of steamy love scenes and I loved every minute of it.

It was her time to grab her happiness
Ebony "diamond" Thompson was a veteran cop who rode a Harley Motorcycle and belonged to the Lady Guardian Motorcycle Club. Men were intimidated by her life. She was feeling the loneliness at thirty-three, until that fateful day she called out for help. Cole Reynolds, a military veteran, and special security employee and Ebony's neighbor, trusted his gut when he came home and found the object of his desire in need. He'd always trust his gut instinct. It served him well in the military. His gut was used that day to save Ebony's life and started a relationship that both he and Ebony longed to have but neither acted on.
Solving the mystery of who shot Ebony and why was just moving too slow for both Cole and Ebony. Cole would use all of his resources to protect her and find the culprit. He knew that once he got involved with her, there would be no going back for him and he made no bones about letting Ebony know that he was claiming her. Ebony loved him and now she finally had the opportunity at happiness, to have a man that would love her and accept her for all that she was and not be intimidated by her. To Cole, she was perfect for him and made just for him.
I loved this story of how neighbors having a casual friendly relationship coming together when the opportunity came, finding out they were perfect for each other, and exploding into a hot passion. I just loved how Cole was not ashamed or timid about how he felt about Ebony. OHHHHHH and the stuff he said to her...PHEW, that was hawt! I would love to read more about this couple. With him being in security and she being a cop, there are more stories that could be written about them. Hint, hint! LOL

4.5 stars for me. Ebony was one tough chick. A veteran cop and a Lady Guardian to boot.
The book opens with her lying on the ground after being shot in her front yard. Someone wanted her dead and she needed to find out who. But first she needed to survive. Enter her hot neighbor, Cole. He immediately sprang into action saving her life. The two had been neighbors for a little over a year and each had a crush on the other, but neither had acted on it. The most they did was wave from across the street.
Cole is a former military man who works for a security firm. His job takes him away for weeks at a time and he was just returning home when his gut told him something was wrong.
Ebony and Cole embark on a whirlwind romance in the midst of trying to figure out who wants her dead and why the police investigation was stalling out. Cole and his team come to the rescue and uncover some vile things. Ebony had been targeted by one of her own because she was getting to close to exposing him. Her hero, Cole saves the day and they live happily ever after.
I fell hard for Cole. There is nothing like an Alpha male who has no problem claiming a woman and making her his. His tricks in the bedroom didn’t hurt either. The man was a beast!
I wish the Lady Guardians could have gotten in on the action to help save their girl, but this is not my story to write.

I searched everywhere for the content warning for this story and found none, so, I thought I was safe, I thought this would be a true romance, a true love story but more fool me, it's not.
This woman is shot and lay dying, when her neighbor comes to her rescue she is relieved that someone came to her rescue, realizing it's her hunky neighbor her mind goes straight down the gutter in a very detailed smut spewing way. Really?
I don't know what most romance authors think but not all IR romance books uses smut and vile language to show love or desire and it really pisses me off when author assume all romance novels are the same and probably feels there is no need for a content warning.
Yeah, yeah, call me a prude,why should I care, I wear the mantle proudly, my sex life is no one's business so damn sure don't want to read or hear about others. when it's just me and my man the prude goes away.
Just please remember the content warnings because I really, really hate smut. Thank you

My Rationalization:
This was another one of the Lady Guardians MC series 'Persuade Me' that was about Ebony and Cole's story. We find that these two were neighbors and when Ebony who was a cop was shot right in front of her home Cole a military man was there to help. It was interesting when they finally started working together to find out who had done this to Ebony and why. It was interesting in how they had been seeing each other for over a year[ living across the street from one another] but nothing came of it until this incident with Ebony getting shot. I enjoyed seeing how Cole protected Ebony, liked her mom and her Lady Guardians friends. All in all, this turned out to be a sweet romantic read with some complex characters along with how the story dealt with a story that dealt with human trafficking.

I'm a big fan of Reana Malori's books and loved her first Lady Guardians book Forgiven so I was really excited to read Persuade Me - her second book in the Lady Guardians series. Ebony is a strong, independent woman who is more than capable of taking care of herself and her family. Cole is not really a people person but has definitely noticed his neighbor Ebony. These two get really close when Ebony is fighting for her life and asks Cole for help. Cole steps up to the challenge of protecting Ebony and decides he wants to fight for her to be his woman as well. The chemistry between these two was undeniable and I loved that we also got to see the all the fast paced suspense of making sure those that were trying to hurt Ebony were taken care of. Loved this story and am sad to see the Lady Guardians books come to an end. However, I can't wait to see what's next from Reana!

Loved this story but it was too short,I wished it was longer.
He was there for her when she needed him the most. Protecting Ebony from people who threatened her life all because she was doing her job. This book had me on the edge of my seat reading this, the fact that Cole was doing everything to protect his woman showed just how much she meant to him,their chemistry was so hot it made me envious because who wouldn't want someone they love to protect and love them the way that Cole did for Ebony,and happy because they found each other and they in turn loved each other for themselves without trying to change the other person. I wish there could've been more scenes with Ebony with her club members but the scenes I did read shoed how close they all were to each other.

Loved this story.....Cole and Ebony were fated
Even though the story was short it had impact and moved quickly, you wanted Cole and Ebony together forever.....did I mention the passion between them was palpable and leapt off the page!
The characters were likable and the supporting characters were solid.
I love how the Lady Guardians continue to build on and intertwine stories from other stories under the umbrella of Lady Guardians when they are written by several different authors.
I want the whole collection, so that I can start all over again and read each one to my hearts content!

Wow...this book just blew others out of the water with its intensity and with the Lady Guardians bad a- - actions. Cole was an intense enforcer and when Ebony got shot he would do anything and everything to find the perpetrators. Ebony was his and what’s his, he protects with his life. Ebony’s mom, Charlene Thompson is also a force; having worked in the Pentagon she had connections. Cole and his crew found who was behind trying to kill Ebony and his two goons that pulled it off. Jones, also a police officer needed to get rid of Ebony because she was close to finding out that he was into the sex trafficking of minors.

Disappointing
The premise was great. A police officer shot and a military man to the rescue. I was settling in for a book full of action and even seeing the Lady Guardians in action. In the end I got a very wordy book with zero action and just a lot of suggestions. The whole thing felt flat. To top it all I still don’t know what Ebony looks like, apart from her height, the color of her eyes and her level of fitness.

Very good
Wow the first chapter really was painful to read. The author was awesome, it was like I was Ebony and I could feel her struggle as she laid dying on her front lawn. Cole was a total Alpha male no one messed with his woman. Even though she didn't know she was his at that time 😉😉. Loved Ebony's mom and the other Lady Guardians. This story has attempted murder, betrayal, human trafficking, and a lot of HOT SEX between Cole and Ebony.

I absolutely loved this read. It has an awesome plot, great character interaction, an easy flow and off the charts hotness. Ebony and Cole are the epitome of the classic tale of getting my man/woman. I love how Cole is uber protective of his woman and how he puts everything into keeping her safe. The intimate scenes are off the scales hot. Reana did her thing with this one. 5 stars and I highly recommend it!!!

Military man Cole Reynolds as been eyeing his neighbor Ebony Thompson for quite sometime now. Yet he failed to make a move until it was almost too late. Cole springs into action he is going protect and claim his women if it is the last thing he does.
While I had a issue with a part in this story it was a good read.

The book was good but not great. It reads like a first draft in many areas. Parts of the story didn’t come together and it seemed disjointed. There were a few editing errors that detracted from the story.
This was Ebony and Cole’s story. I was intrigued by the idea of an all black biker club. Hopefully the other books in the series are much better.

Ebony is a cop slash Lady Guardian, Cole is the neighbor she knows nothing about but they are both very aware of each other. It takes Cole coming to Ebony's rescue to bring them together and to insure Ebony comes to no further harm.

Another great read from this author. The storytelling is engrossing and the story flows well. Above all it is Romantic entertainment. If you enjoy this genre you will not be disappointed with this author's work I recommend.

Started off fantastic
Half-way through, the story got kinda muddled. Sex does not make A book good. Plot has to be tight. Ebony and Cold were has and put matches in the bedroom! Outside the bedroom, they were like grandparents in the streets.

This was a good read
This was a good read. However, a little more substance added to the characters, the storyline, the book in general would have made it a great read. You have your h and H. There is conflict and a tad bit of mystery. But a lot of sex.

Another great story
This author continues to surprise with her unique characters. The military team makes the story more interesting, it gives it an added feature that captivates her audience. Love it!!!

Trust your gut
I loved Ebony and Cole's story. Ebony's mom was no nonsense and recognized Cole's attraction for her daughter right away. They had more in common than they thought.

Cole and Ebony
It was sort of hard for me to keep up with this story and I had to try to read it a couple of times. It was really nice to see Ebony and Cole come together.
