I read this book to my students for Black History Month. Desmond Tutu is a South African that made a huge difference for black people in South Africa. He fought through education and peaceful fights for black people to have as much rights as white people.

Desmond Tutu
3/5 stars

My motivation for picking this up was solely because I want to read The Book of Joy by the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu and I wanted to familiarize myself with Desmond considering I knew nothing about him at all.

This was informative and I found his story really endearing he's a good person who promotes peace and whose story is similar to Martin Luther King Jrs.

I enjoyed this.
