She returned there when she married, and her sons were both born on Anglesey, an island off the coast. Though not isolated, Anglesey is a little off the beaten track, but lively Dublin, which Kim loves, is only a short ferry ride away. Today they live on the farm her husband was brought up on. Welsh is the first language of many people in this area and Kim's husband and sons are all bilingual she is having a lot of fun, not to mention a few headaches, trying to learn the language! She is a keen gardener and cook and enjoys running often on the beach, as living on an island the sea is never very far away. She is usually accompanied by her Jack Russell, Sprout don't ask, it's long story!
With small children, the unsocial hours of nursing didn't look attractive so encouraged by a husband who thinks she can do anything she sets her mind to, Kim tried her hand at writing. Always a keen Mills & Boon reader, it seemed natural for her to write a romance novel. In 1995, she published her first novels and now she can't imagine doing anything else.

Okay – another late nineties HP title with an exclamation point. Thankfully this one, while a little slapsticky and wacky, was much better than Not Husband Material!
This is the first story in a series called Triplet Brides. The heroine, an injured dancer turned alternative medicine therapist, is the eldest of the triplets (who are not identical). The other future heroines are a doctor working in London and a super-model who just got a part in a movie. It’s the doctor triplet who brings the hero into this heroine’s life.
Hero is a handsome stuffed shirt surgeon who is moving into the district. The doctor triplet brings him to their parent’s 40th wedding anniversary party so he can meet the locals. The hero takes one look at the heroine dancing and is overcome with lust. The heroine takes one look at the doctor hero and is overcome by lust.
Well – that would be a short story wouldn’t it? So we have conflict. Hero is in an engagement of convenience with an ice queen because he has inherited his orphaned nieces and nephews. He doesn’t have a sexual relationship with the ice queen, but they’re both happy because she is respectable and he has lots of money. The ice queen is all about boarding school and nannys – so she isn’t too concerned about the kids.
The heroine doesn’t know the H is engaged at first. She is very straightforward about her attraction to him and the H just goes with the flow, thinking she must have a hidden agenda. Plus anyone who dances like that must be free and easy. To make matters worse, the heroine is into local politics and organizes protests – not the kind of society wife the H needs for his career.
So there is a lot of that tension with the heroine being upfront and the hero not knowing how to deal with anything. The hero buys the manor next to the h’s parent’s farm and starts renovations. The heroine’s old boyfriend returns to the village when he separates from his wife to further muddy the waters. The hero’s kids hate the ice queen and approve of the fun-loving heroine.
The heroine is hit by a car at one protest and injures her bum knee again. The hero is there full of concern and the ice queen is not happy.
When the ice queen refuses to babysit because the youngest ones are sick, the heroine saves the day by diagnosing mumps and bringing all four of them to the farm house.
The hero ends up spending the night there as well and the heroine gives him a message.
Tension is ramping up. The ice queen warns off the heroine, so the heroine decides she is going to go after her man. The hero takes her out to thank her for helping during the family illness – and they end up in his hotel room. The heroine is inexperienced (one drunken experiment) but they spend a lovely night together.
But in the morning the heroine has to return to the farm to milk the cows and she perversely doesn’t let the hero tell her anything because she’s afraid he’s going to dump her. Then she house-sits at the old boyfriend’s (because he’s gone back to patch it up with his wife) and the hero tracks her down there – thinking she’s gone from his bed to the boyfriend's.
It’s all over except for the crying.
Two weeks later, the heroine is in a costumed fun run to raise money for the hospital. She is dressed as a ballerina with combat boots. A tall Easter bunny runs beside her. It’s the hero throwing away his dignity to grovel to the heroine. They get their picture in the national newspaper recording the HEA kiss.
This one was a fun read, but it depends on your tolerance for a hero who is kissing the heroine and falling in love with the heroine while engaged to another woman. Yes, the other woman is horrible with her own mercenary agenda – but he needed to break it off with her first.
The heroine was a manic pixie girl at first glance, but she had a lot of hidden reserves and dignity that was revealed as the story went on. I liked her by the end. The hero – I’m not so sure. He was an idiot wanting his cake and eating it, too for far too long in the story. The bunny costume did help my opinion of him.

Me encanto esta historia, es todo lo me gusta en una protagonista fuerte, inteligente, decidida, transparente, en fin tiene muchas cualidades, el era un ciego al no caer rendido por ella solo al conocerla y sobre todo me encanto lo de perder la cabeza, eso fue muy gracioso...
