Very good insight with a fully actionable plan

I chose to download WWHW by Robert Plank because I’m trying to get ideas on how to get the books in my head out of there and into a document, online, in print, and especially into your hands. “My process” has been getting me nowhere for years now, which mostly consisted of just thinking about the ideas I have over and over and then talking myself out of trying... Great writing process, huh? I was afraid of two things and they held me back: having something of value to say to an audience (Does anyone really want to read/hear what I have to say?) and the actual ‘work’ of writing (Do I actually have what it takes to write a book of my own?)

Obviously, I needed, and was looking for direction and some kind actual process that would be a workable solution for me. I decided that this book was as good a place to start as any. It was short enough that if I didn’t get anything out of it, it wouldn’t be that big of a waste of my time. As you can probably tell, I wasn’t super hopeful because I’ve bought a LOT of books of the same vein but never put any of the information into practice (if I actually read the book at all!)

I was intrigued with the concept when I came across this title. WWHW gives the reader a clear blueprint for getting your work, whether it is a book, podcast, membership site, or YouTube video out of your head and in front of its target audience. There are even specific steps to walk you through self-publishing. I will have to read it several more times to let it sink in and it will probably become a reference book that I use for many projects that I will have coming in the near future!

The only thing that was a bit of a drawback to me was in the very beginning, it read like a high school student trying to write to a ‘word count’ for an assignment. It didn’t warrant losing a star, but it was somewhat off-putting and I honestly almost stopped reading because of it. I’m glad I persevered because it was like a switch was flipped and I couldn’t put the book down after those few pages.

This is a hidden gem that I hope more people interested in this medium of expression will find and learn from because it’s not too often that you’ll find someone willing to actually give inside tips, like the whole process! This is not just a teaser book but one that delivers the goods so you can learn to deliver your goods to your audience.

Great book to start a business

Great explanation
The content of the book was very direct.
It hooked by interest very quick.
This book explains how to do self publishing in Amazon. After reading must likely you be ready to apply the knowledge. I would recommend this book for sure for those starting an online business.

Quick and To-the-Point

Great information. I can use this. So can you. Probably the best advice for writers of non-fiction ever? Maybe. I really liked the information on podcasting and video marketing.

Do you want to create shitty content quickly and give to it a decent appeal in order to pollute the world with useless knowledge and extra waste? Then buy this pretentious, superficial, evil book.

I feel so motivated and gained such a clear picture of the steps I need to take from this short and poignant tome.

Disjointed at times

The book has a good premise and concept, but there are points in it that seem like it was just thrown together without much thought to transitions.

Really short read, but thought it was good. It probably is just a funnel to get people to buy his course, but I mean... I'm thinking about it, so it definitely worked.

Lays it out clearly

Finally, the "map" becomes clearer. This was well written and to the point. It prepares one with a good direction. Thank you!
