After he starts working as a bodyguard at the burlesque bar “Rainbow,” Kuroba meets dancer Kaede, who doesn’t look Japanese. Kaede is fascinating, yet intimidating. He is able to mesmerize the customers, which makes him one of the bar’s top dancers. On the surface he seems strong and confident, but under that mask there’s a man who knows what fear is, and Kuroba can’t help but be drawn to him. Kuroba hopes that Kaede can let him into his heart. However, because of a certain incident, Kaede has suffered a love-related trauma….?

Lot of drama, but also a great dose of romance. The MCs were really cute as a couple. and thank the gods his friends Bruno and Kouta saved him just in time before he was gang raped in the past, poor boy...I'm glad the author didn't show that scene(bcs also if there wasn't actual penetration, that scene would have been terrible) and that in the end the seme was his first.

Honestly, I can't decide how to review this. When I come across this manga, I thought it will be like Birds of Shangri-la and I was wrong. It's a typical x-rated yaoi—now, when I say x-rated... IT REALLY IS. And I kind of feel regret reading this because the sex is too graphic and I'm not a fan of that. Regret is subjective tho, because I know yaoi fans will love to see this. The story build-up and the characterization is quite nice (and heartwrenching at the same time.) And the art style is great!!
