The plot is too complicated to follow effectively (or maybe I'm tired), but the jokes are cool. And you get a trio of strong, independent women, so the feminists should be satisfied. Several other characters are featured and their goal is, moat of time, to stop the trio. Some fail miserably, while others agree that saving the world takes priority.

Nemesis is the only one who knows enough about the coming apocalypse to avert it. She gets Backlash and Savant to help.

I’ve never really read a Wildstorm book before, after seeing this in my local library I thought, flicking through it, the action looked my kind of thing, so I decided to give it a try.

I was just lost, I could just about follow the story (a vision of the apocalypse that requires the heroes to try to find a bunch of lost superheroes from World War 2), but I didn’t know the characters, the teams or villains, and I think not enough was done to introduce these characters to new readers like me.

The dialogue writing was ok, and the art was decent and dynamic. Without having any background with this series, I can’t really say it’s a worthwhile read unless you’re already familiar with Wildstorm.
