You the best Assera. I can honestly say that every time I read one of this authors book I be in my feelings. Aspyn was too naive for me. I was so hoping for another ending because I love to see the wives boss up🤦🏿♀️. Makai and Vicki aint S$&t. Why I know Mya wanted to be apart of his concubine tribe. Aspen please wake up. I know is a novella but dang I want better for Aspyn.
Mikai only cared about what he wanted in the end Aspyn is to easy going just because she loved him that much and would do anything for him I hope e watches Vicki she is borderline a killer he read all that stuff in her journal now he wants to add mya to the mix he will get very messy we need a sequel to this story
This book was crazy to say the least. It was a good read but I don't know. Vicki was so devious. I didn't like her one bit. Makai was deceitful as well. To think he tricked his wife but in the end he was the one who was tricked. Oh my goodness just craziness. It gets the reader to thinking.
This book was awesome I loved it because it taught me some stuff. Can't believe Vicki was conniving and Kai just silly. Aseera is awesome and one of my favs. Thank u for such a awesome book.
My jaw dropped at the end! Say what? Well, not the ending I wanted but this book was SOOOO GOOD. And I can't even write about it because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. This is a MUST READ! I hated that selfish, conniving, lying behind Kai. And Vickie was the devil incarnate. Pyn, I don't even know what to say about her; in the book, she's described as having a kind heart. I have another description - gullible. How about naive? Whatever. I sooo wanted to talk to her. Wait a minute, this is just a story. A good one at that. Aseera was so thorough with this one. I still have chills. I wish I would.... Great read. Thanks Aseera; you've done it again.
I hope there is a follow up . I'm alway excited and fascinated by people of color that live an alternative lifestyle. I think it's a beautiful thing with the right intentions and right people. Ms Vicki ain't no joke!
Ok, so this book is sizzling hot! I enjoyed every page. Although I must say, I was a bit disappointed about how things turned out overall. There was only one part of the plot that was a little corny, yet it’s believable. Vicki is the character I loved to hate. I give this book a five. It’s urban fiction at it’s finest. Readers won’t be disappointed.
REVIEW
How would you react if your husband gave you an ultimatum, it’s either him and a sister-wife or nothing at all? What fate would you choose?
Aspyn never thought she’d see the day where her happy marriage would be at stake. She’s young, successful and married to a successful Black man. She’s happy. They’re happy, right.
Kai knew how much his wife loved him. So he had no fear when he presented the ultimatum to her. His arrogance helped to give him the reassurance he needed. He was confident Aspyn would play along.
Vicki knows who she is and knows what she wants. She might not get everything exactly her way, but the universe seems to definitely work in her favor. How low will she stoop to keep the man she craved and her ex-husband from getting custody of there two girls?
First I wasn’t expecting this page turner lol I can’t believe that Vickie and Makai did Aspyn like this and the ending I really can’t believe this... I need to know how Mya ended up being a part of this and is Vickie going to be up to her old tricks again?
This was definitely something new. It was different from other reads and had potential, it just needed more. I guess I needed more action with the characters (more drama). I recommend you read it for yourself. Happy reading!
No way, no how, would I agree to bringing another person into my marriage! That is serious trouble! Aspen and Makai are both naive to what Vicki has going on! Can’t wait until the s… hits the fan! On to part two!
This book was a waste of my time. I know it is fictional, but, who in their right mind would agree to this. I hate when authors make women weak and stupid over a man.
