Deducted a star for use of profanity in “a clean Christian novel”! Storyline not complex, but it tells much of Laura Wright Buchanan’s stories which was covered in Book 1. Laura is the connection between Leon and Delores Eubanks. What grabs me about the billionaires in books 1-2, is that they are decisive men. They aren’t afraid of love, not afraid to put their feelings on the table quickly, they are lovable characters. Both Christian and Leon will throw some punches to defend their love interests. Don’t be fooled by their designer clothes, luxurious homes, and running over bank accounts, these billionaires will go toe-toe and fist-to-fist and defend any that comes to attack what or who has their interests.

I guess not all BWWM romances turn out well!

Sadly this beautiful successful Black woman Laura fell in love and married a powerful moneyed White man James who seems to get off on beating her. When the doctor he has on retainer finally pleads with Laura to get out before he kills her and let's her know he has kept proof over the years of the abuse James has inflicted on her she finally comes clean and tells her best friend Deloris who tells her boss Leon who by the way is a successful powerful moneyed Black man with the connections to shut James down and safeguard Laura and her unborn child. This was a really good, suspenseful story but why do I get the feeling that there is more to come? Bring on the sequel!!!!!! Great story Ms Fielding really great.

This was a great read. I enjoyed the romance between Deloris and Leon and the emotion in this book. Laura, the best friend, was everything and more. I'm interested in seeing where things go for her in the sequel.

Everything about this was right: the publishing company, the book talk, the libraries, the friendships, the romance, the family.

What took me for a loop was that unexpected kiss in the church...not really sure where it came from. As much as I wanted them to kiss, that kiss was sudden and awkward to me.

Overall, a great read, and looking forward to finishing this trilogy.

Excellent Read!

I really enjoyed reading this book! I Loved the chemistry between Leon and Delores. They seemed perfect for each other, even tho it took a minute for them to act on it. Laura and James are a different story. What it looks like on the outside looking in, is sometimes further from the truth! I'm glad that Laura finally spoke up and told the truth about her marriage! I can't wait to read Book 2 and I definitely recommend this book for everyone to read!

I enjoyed reading this book. The chemistry between Leon and Delores was amazing. Laura and James a hot mess. It is hard for a person to leave an abusive relationship. I’m happy that Laura was able to realize that her marriage was over. The book had some errors, but it did not take away from the story.

I liked this story. Deloris and Leon were perfect together and were working on a relationship. But are also people who care about others. Deloris thought about more than just her happiness and was willing to help a friend. I enjoyed the storyline and characters.

Good Reading

The love story of Leon and Deloris was entertaining and refreshing. It is good to read about strong, wealthy Christian black men who are more than capable of protecting their loved ones. Definitely worth reading.

Finding Love

The story is exciting with a lot of action and no cursing. It is about a billionaire named Leon Blair, who is C.E.O. Of Blair Publications. A Editor, named Deloris Eubanks.

Disappointing.

I enjoyed reading this book for the first chapters your character development left a lot to be desired..and at the end the storyline closed like it was written by a child.."the end" felt like you were rushed to finish, their was no sense of real accomplishment ...

Needs Editing.

This was a very captivating story. Quite realistic. However, just like many other Kindle reads, the editing leaves a lot to be desired. The use of pronouns was very confusing to the flow of the story. I pray that this is not true of the print version.

Chivalry isn't dead!

Loved this book, there is life after aches when it seems that there is no hope. God always has a ram in the bush for the life we truly desire! Good friends!
