Enchanted Bridal #3

The Bridal Squad

Rate this book
The Friday Night Brides are back! And this time, it’s their first season running the business! It was one thing to just model in a weekly fashion show, it’s quite another to be the ones calling the shots and making future brides’ dreams come true. Their first client has them wondering if they’re really prepared for their new roles!

The Bride: Julianne is big on fitness, small on patience. And planning her wedding is grating on her every last nerve. As a Zumba instructor, she loves the freedom to create and choreograph her routines and help others achieve their goals, but having to stand back and let others choreograph her big day has her wanting to hip-hop toward eloping!

The Matron of Honor: As the only married member of the bridal party, Natalie considers herself the aficionado on all-things weddings. And even though her time in the spotlight is over, that doesn’t mean she isn’t full of ideas on how her best friend’s wedding should look and feel and be! And it doesn’t take long for her to realize that maybe it’s not so much that she’s wanting to help as it is that she’s afraid of her own honeymoon ending.

The Bride’s Sister: Nothing screams unwanted relationship advice than when your younger sister gets married before you. It’s not that Harper doesn’t want to get married, after three failed engagements she really does! But finding the right man to walk down the aisle with is proving harder than she thought. And it gets even harder when constantly being compared to the perfect couple!

The Reluctant Bridesmaid: There is nothing Kayla wants more than to see one of her best friend’s get married…if only the whole process wasn’t so exhausting! Travel and adventure and being on the go fuels her. Having to stay in one place for an extended period of time while wearing taffeta? Not so much. Her job tends to take her away on a moment’s notice and this is one time she may have to pass up the trip of a lifetime in the name of friendship.

I really enjoyed The Bridal Squad by Samantha Chase.

The storyline was a little different as we had four separate couples stories all worked into the one storyline. I found it easy to follow and totally refreshing. All the characters/couples were likable, endearing and watching their relationships unfold touched my heart and couldn't be happier with the ending.

The Friday Night Brides are now running Enchanted Bridal. Their first client is a tough one. Julianne is the bride. She is a fitness instructor who loves helping people stay in shape. She does not like people making decisions about her wedding. Her older sister Harper has been engaged three times and doesn't think she'll ever find the right man. Best friend Natalie is the only married woman in the bridal party. She believes she knows it all and is driving everyone crazy. Bridesmaid Kayla loves being in the wedding, but doesn't see herself settling down and making a commitment to her long-time lover who gives her an ultimatum.

This is a nice follow-up to The Friday Night Brides. Each of the women in the bridal party has a relationship problem that they must overcome. These stories were fun. I hope the last book in the series is just as good. My rating: 4 Stars.

Favorite Quotes:

Seriously, it was too early in the morning for another one of Natalie Walsh-hyphen-Michael’s lectures and pep talks. They were friends through Julianne and if it weren’t for that connection, Kayla would never have crossed paths with her. And if she had, she probably would have punched her and then walked away.

Seriously, how was it that normal, level-headed people could go from being happy and having a good time to being positively rabid toward each other over the color pink? It was mind-boggling!

When had life gotten so damn complicated? What could they have done differently? And was this really what being an adult was all about? Because if it was, then she was seriously over it.

My Review:

I adored the first book in this series – Friday Night Brides - and had personally doubted it could be equaled – silly me – Ms. Chase has undeniable writing skills. The Bridal Squad was an engaging, observant, and multi-layered tale that was complex, entertaining, and well-paced. It was essentially four complete stories interwoven into one perceptive and well-crafted tale. Each of the four bridesmaids was fully inhabited and struggling with their own personal and romantic issues. The four were not totally friendly and initially tolerated each other for the sake of the bride, although they were each suffering with their own stressors, they forged strong bonds which in turned aided and fortified each other with insights into their own difficulties and encouragement to push ahead. Each woman had prickly issues and quirks that were staggeringly well depicted and insightfully detailed. Of the Samantha Chase books I have read, this series appears to be among her best work.

Hello, I want to take this opportunity to tell you about a spectacular gift I was given. I was gifted with an ARC of The Bridal Squad by Samantha Chase. Over the last couple of years, Ms. Chase has become one of my top five favorite authors. The reason is plain, Ms. Chase writes FABULOUS romance novels, and her latest addition The Bridal Squad is no exception.
This is the story about the wedding of Julianne and Gavin, and the romance of her sister Harper and Brady, and the ever-blind Kayla and Adam, and the troubled marriage of Natalie and Jayce. YES!!! Four fantastic romances built into one book. Each story is intertwined into each, and I loved each and every one.
I love every character in the book, well… maybe not all… Can I wring mom’s neck?? The way that she kept on picking at… Stop, no spoilers. I really liked the dynamics between each of the couples, and I can’t pick one as my favorite. I loved the way that Gavin and Julianne finished the other. I love the way Brady strengthened Harper. When Adam gave Kayla the ultimatum, and it finally opened her eyes. Then, Natalie and Jayce, the honeymoon couple…
My biggest surprise…. The wedding. Sorry, I said no spoilers, and I meant it.
Thank you, Ms. Chase for ALL the hours and hours of reading enjoyment that you give to your readers.
Thank you for reading my review.

With this series you get four mini stories wrapped into an over all picture story. I loved the men, but my favorite man in this book was Brady, he just challenged Harper so much, “get close to you?” he asked mildly, that amused look back on his face. “What’s the matter, babe? Do I make you nervous?” I really liked this book, these four women had a tight relationship amd were there for one another

In the best of times and the worst of times, it's always good to have friends. Samantha Chase, spotlights the beautiful bond that toes the line between crazy and amazing in the Bridal Squad. From Natalie, who always needs to be in control to Kayla the bridesmaid reluctant to even take on the role. Julianne, the Bride is slowly losing her mind as the day draws ever near, while frustrated sister Harper may be giving in to her fears. The Bridal Squad is like looking in a mirror with how relatable the scenarios are, but the area Ms. Chase never seems to miss, is the impact she makes on the heart.

The book was too heavy on the drama. For some reason, I had stopped reading it and when I started reading it again, I was immediately thrown into a drama filled situation. Maybe that's the reason I stopped reading it in the first place. And I continued reading the book around 20%, so you can see why I am saying it had too much drama. There wasn't a woman in this book that didn't have something going on in her life. In the end, I was just tired.

The beginning of each Zumba class was the same. The teacher kept saying the same thing over and over again which annoyed me since we read about the classes often. After some point, I started skipping them. I might not have liked some parts, but I liked that we had four different love stories in the book and each shared the spotlight equally with the others.

Okay, so this was fun AND different . There's actually four little stories going on in this book and they all intertwine into each other. The book is not very long so one would think that maybe something would slip or lack but it DID NOT ... #fabulous

This is a very tight group of people that will bring you joy and happiness as you read this book. Their chemistry as a group was ridic and as couples sooooooo lovely! Their friendship stands the test of time and drama!

I'm not one to give away a book in a review, but ohhhhhhhhhhhh, the wedding !! **happy sigh**

Well done. I look forward to reading a lot more in this series!

The Bridal Squad was a fun read. At first I thought the four storylines would be a bit much, but it really worked. I loved following these friends and seeing how they and their relationships changed throughout the book. It was fun for me because it gave me a glimpse into female friendships. I never really had a lot and those I did were not like this so it was nice to read about four close girlfriends. I really enjoyed it.

Julianne is getting married! She is really excited to start her life with her fiancé, a wonderful man she has known since high school, if only everyone would fall in line and stop the bickering. She wants her wedding, but she doesn't like all of the hassles of planning one. Everyone has their own opinions on what she should do and it is stressing her out. She is normally really put together and carefree, but her friends and family are driving her crazy. She is a Zumba instructor, but that is not enough. She needs a way to let out some of her frustrations so she tries a few things at the gym that will hopefully help. She just wants all this planning to be over with already.

Harper is Julianne's older sister and cause of stress during this busy time. She has been engaged three times, but none of them ever worked out. She thinks it is easy to fall in love, but how do you stay in love? How do you actually get to the alter? She isn't really sure. And her mom will not let her forget her failed engagements. Even though no one particularly cared for some of them that doesn't stop her mom from constantly making snide remarks to Harper about it. Man, she put up with a lot from her mom and it was probably always that way. With Julianne getting married it is making Harper think more about the possibility for herself, but how can she find the perfect guy like her sister did? And when she finds someone that has everything on her deal-breakers list should she give it a try anyways? Is it possible for her to find love with someone who on paper seems so wrong for her?

Then there is Kayla, the free spirit who doesn't want to be tied down. The photographer that always has a bag packed so she can leave and travel the world at a minutes notice. She has a friends with benefits thing going with her boss, but that is all it is. Right? I mean she wouldn't want more or to plan a future with someone...right? She likes to spread her wings and fly and even the thought of getting married gives her nightmares. How could you lose yourself in someone else like that. Oh, I loved Kayla. She is trying to figure things out and she takes her own time doing it. She is not one to rush into things like relationships and if you press her she will bail. She was fun.

And finally we have Natalie, the married friend. The one who takes every opportunity to bring up her own wedding when they are planning Julianne's. The one who wants to live this picture perfect life, but things don't always turn out like that. When there starts to be some cracks in the facade what will she do? Is she brave enough and strong enough to fight or will she give up in defeat? She was the most interesting for me as she tries to seem like she has everything together, but she doesn't. She tries to control everything, but you can't always control life.

Through this story we watch as these four ladies have their ups and downs, the fights, the makeups, the growing closer of the friends. At the beginning Harper and Kayla didn't get along so well with Natalie, but when she needs them they are there for her. I loved how they all were there for each other no matter what and where everyone ends up.

Samantha Chase has delivered another wonderful romance with The Bridal Squad, the third book in her Enchanted Bridal series. Samantha Chase has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love that all the characters in The Bridal Squad feel like family! Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, and loving friends, who always support one another? Samantha Chase continues to deliver all that and so much more. I really enjoyed The Bridal Squad and am looking forward to reading the remaining books in the Enchanted Bridal series. I have read other books by Samantha Chase and have always enjoyed her wonderfully written love stories. Samantha Chase has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. The Bridal Squad did not disappoint, I could not put it down and loved every page. One of my favorite parts is how Samantha Chase incorporated the title of the book into the love story. I enjoy how Samantha Chase writes from the perspective of the main characters. That way you get to know what is going on in each of their minds. The Bridal Squad is a wonderful love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud and the bittersweet moments that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. The Bridal Squad be filled with such moments, and with so much more. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a Samantha Chase love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. The Bridal Squad is the story of Julianne “the bride”, Natalie, and Kayla, best friends and Harper, Julianne’s older sister. Julianne is using Enchanted Bridal for her own wedding to her fiancé, Gavin. Hailey and her team nicknamed, Julianne and her bridal party, “The Bridal Squad”. The story details the relationships that each woman has or dreams about having. Julianne and Gavin, were best friends growing and began dating following their freshmen year of college. Julianne is a Zumba instructor and is stressed about all the details of planning a wedding. Harper has had three broken engagements, but has never planned a wedding. Her mother, Melinda is always making hurtful remarks about her broken engagements. Harper starts a relationship with Brady, a trainer and kickboxing instructor, who possesses all her “deal breakers” for dating. When Harper discovers Brady’s real occupation, she breaks up with him, since he wasn’t truthful with her. Natalie is married to Jayce and they are about to celebrate their first anniversary. Natalie moves out because she feels that Jayce is taking advantage of her. Kayla and Adam, are in a friends with benefits relationship, but Adam wants more than that. I love that each couple experienced some difficulty or challenge in their relationship, they all showed their vulnerable side and they each of them changed because of their love for one another. Surprise plot twists change everything for each couple and then they finally make it back together. I love how the relationship between Kayla, Harper, and Natalie changes throughout the story. I loved the ending of the story, and how all the couples get the happily ever after that they dreamed out. I also really enjoyed catching up with the characters in the Enchanted Bridal series, it felt like getting together with close friends. The Bridal Squad contains all the things that I have come to love most in a Samantha Chace story, romance, great characters and setting, bittersweet moments and the plot twist that ties it all together. Amazing story. I could not put it down.

4 1/2 STARS!

A heartwarming story about friendship and the toils of life! The characters were all interesting and watching them evolve into more assured people was enlightening. It was fun to get sort of get 4 stories instead of one.

Julianne Burke just got engaged to the love of her life, Gavin. She's excited to kick off the wedding planning, and is bringing along her 3 best friends for the ride. Her big sister Harper and two of her best friends since childhood, Kayla and Natalie. As the story unfolds, we get a delve into each of their lives and relationships and watch them all go through their various turmoils.

Julianne knows that she wants to marry Gavin, but this wedding stress is really getting to her. It's making her feel an anger she's not used to. She has to somehow find a way to get these bickering people off her back and get to just enjoy loving her man again!

Big sis Harper adores her sister and wants nothing but happiness for her, but the constant sniping from Mom about her own three failed engagements is driving her crazy! It's demoralizing enough to have her little sister get married before her already ... and to constantly have her past thrown in her face on top of it? GRRRRR!

Self-named matron of honor Natalie loves to talk up her own wedding of a year ago and considers herself an expert. As she spends time with the girls and sees the various things going on in their lives, she starts to doubt that honeymoon lifestyle she thought she had going on with her own husband.

Free-spirit Kayla ... the sporty nature photographer who lives her life jumping from one assignment to another all over the world, no matter how dangerous it is. She's a no commitment, no plans type of gal and really enjoys it ... until the things she was taking for granted suddenly aren't there anymore and she has to decide if she wants to change her way of living to make room for them.

The Bridal Squad follows along the ups and downs as well as the stress of planning a wedding.

Julianne is marrying Gavin. Her bridesmaids are her friends Natalie and Kayla and her maid of honor is her sister, Harper.

I started out first not careing much for Natalie as she came across as a 'know-it-all'. Almost like she was reliving her wedding through Julianne's. By the end of the book I got to know her better and realized she's really struggling in her own life and trying to find herself.

I really felt for Harper, I wanted to take her mom down myself. She was just downright hateful to her. Kudos to her for hanging tough so her sister's wedding preparations are less stressful for her. Though sometimes I get the impression that Julianne thought Harper as second best. I really didn't care for that aspect of Julianne.

Kayla is struggling with her career and having to chose the right path for her future.

Poor Julianne. She's trying to make everyone happy while planning her special day. The struggles were real. As a couple of our kids got married within the last couple years I could really relate.

The only thing I wish was a little different in this book...was that someone should of confronted Harper's mom a lot earlier on her treatment of Harper. (though if that would of happened it would of changed the layout of the story. I just really disliked how she was treated) If I was Harper I don't think I'd even be talking to her. But I must say life for Harper is shining much brighter with Brady now in it.

I really liked how this book was written. We are getting four stories in one book. Natalie, Kayla and Harper each are dealing with issues of their own and through them this group of four young ladies become stronger individuals and become deeper friends.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

As a lover of all things wedding romance, I'm always excited when a new book or series is released, especially when it's written by a known and favorite author. I had high hopes after reading and loving Ms. Chases's Friday Night Brides and I was not disappointed!
In The Bridal Squad, you're not just getting one story about the bride, Julianne. You get four, full rich stories about her, sister Harper and friends Natalie and Kayla. It's like the best of the bride quartet series by Nora Roberts...but in one fun, heartwarming and at times wrenching read!
And each woman's story has a different drama and feel to it....from Harper's broken engagements and her mother issues, to Natalie's newlyweds issues to Kayla's need for adventure and how that affects a relationship she didn't realize she was having! Of course, it all centers on Julianne, and that's the way she likes it!
I did have a favorite gal at the beginning of the book...and she stayed my favorite through to the end! I will admit, it wasn't Natalie, but she definitely grew on my as her abrasive personality cracked to show the vulnerable girl beneath.
Even if you haven't read book one in the Enchanted Bride series (why haven't you?!?!), The Bridal Squad is a stand alone book...or four books in one is how I look at it. We even get cameos from the Friday Night Brides gals, which is always fun! Grab this book and spend the afternoon or evening with this sweet wedding romance and the women (and men) in it...you won't be disappointed!

I totally loved reading The Bridal Squad by Samantha Chase. Ms. Chase really knows how to create a sweet story between four friends who can be snarky and rude to each other but who are there for each other in no time flat. Julianne is getting married and has her older sister, Harper, and two best friends, Natalie and Kayla, as her support squad. As she goes through the process of finding dresses, venues, shoes, flowers, etc. with the help of the ladies at Enchanted, she and the girls encounter conflict, insecurity, surprise, and uncertainty in their lives. Julianne needs to decide if she really wants her dream wedding or elope. Natalie realizes that she deserves more than her husband is giving her. Kayla is thrown for a loop when her friend with benefits decides he wants more. Harper meets Mr. Right and needs to make sure not to sabotage the relationship. These two quotes best define the friendship these four ladies have. “We need to stop being so damn sensitive about being insensitive!” … “…but can we just agree that we are looking out for one another and sometimes that means saying things that are uncomfortable and … insensitive?”

I enjoyed reading this was a fun and entertaining story. The story line was riveting and the characters had real, everyday problems. This book kept my attention to the very end as I had trouble putting it down. I highly recommend this outstanding book to other readers.

Julianne is a Zumba teacher and planning the wedding of her dreams complete with all the bells and whistles is stressing her out. Her mother’s interference, her sister’s personality conflicts and a bestie who has her own idea of what Julianne needs has her pulling her hair out.

Her older sister Harper has a definite idea of what she wants in a man and that could explain her history of relationships including three engagements. Harper is also dealing with her feelings about her younger sister getting married while is going to die alone.

Natalie is the Matron of Honor and with the amount of input she provides you would think it was her wedding which combined with the fact that her life is so much better than everyone else’s makes her unbearable. At least until she realizes her perfect life may not be so perfect .

Bridesmaid Kayla is a photographer and a free spirit however her and Natalie can’t stand each other. She is involved with her boss Adam when it is mutually convenient but the wedding has made her look at her future and she wonders where their relationship is going.

Weddings are a very stressful at the best of times and when you throw in all the emotions that it causes about where they are in their lives and what they really want it skyrockets. This is a wonderful story about the bonds of friendship being stronger than the chaos that life throws your way.

We get to watch them helping Julianne get ready for her her wedding and all the drama that unfolds with that but we also gets looks into to each other there lives specifically there love lives . I love how Samantha Chase wrote this story , you would think that with 4 perspectives things would get confusing but it doesn't everything fools every voice is distinct . I got so Invested with these characters , that I had to remind my self that these are characters and not actually people lol. I laughed with them , I got angry about situations they were going through , I got worried when thing got frustrating for them and I smiled when all of them got there perfect endings. I felt the romance in this book was sexy ,heartwarming , honest and filled with swoon worthy moments . You are cordially invited to the wedding of Julianne and Gavin. Please join us to celebrate their special day!

Four friends are in the throes of planning a wedding and the drama begins….

Julianne, the bride, is overwhelmed with all the planning and with trying to keep peace among the wedding party and her family. She wants to get married but without all the hassle and the drama. Eloping is sounding more and more enticing!

Harper, the maid of honor and Julianne’s sister, has had three failed engagements and has had to bear the brunt of her mother’s nagging and snarky attitude. She is trying to be supportive of her sister’s wishes and choices for the wedding but has reached her limit with her mother’s attitude.

Natalie, the matron of honor, is struggling with her own marriage and wants to keep the spark alive in her relationship with her husband through trying to take over the details of Julianne’s wedding.

Kayla, the bridesmaid, does not like to let grass grow under her feet. She is a wanderer and does not see what is right in front of her face in terms of a permanent relationship.

Mix all four women together and you have the Bridal Squad! This is a fun, heart-warming, and sexy story of friendship, of family and of happily ever-afters.

Fantastic Story! Everything about this story was perfect for me. The storyline and writing was fantastic and so entertaining. I loved everything about It from the interesting, endearing, wonderful, and real main characters as well as their interactions, their connection to each other and the growth of their relationships as they share their problems and work through them together.
I pretty much inhaled this. It kept my attention the entire time. Every single second of this story was entertaining, with so many great details and moments that just filled me up and I had so much fun reading it. I was grinning, I was worried, I was stressed out, I was rooting for them, and I was teary eyed, my emotions pretty much ran the gamut while reading this.
The Enchanted Bridal Team have their work cut out for them with their newest customers The Bridal Squad. Will their Saturdays ever be the same? Settle back and let these four very different friends take you on an entertaining, fun filled, and romance filled journey, as they navigate through new relationships, and old, as well as meddlesome relatives, trying and crazy times before the Big Day! Loved it! Highly Recommended!

I had read the first book in the series. This book has the four heroines from the first book now running the bridal shop and coordinating the wedding for a new bride. At first, it was a bit confusing getting the names straight for the four women from the lst book and the four women involved in the wedding in this new one. (It's been a while since the lst book came out.) Once I was enough into the story to keep the names/personalities of the four new characters straight, the story picked up and became interesting. The bride-to-be, Julianna, is a Zumba fitness instructor and used to being independent and in control of her own life. She's finding it stressful to have to take into consideration the opinions of others about wedding details and is wondering if it'd be easier to just elope. Her older sister Harper is the maid of honor. She is happy for her sister, but is stressed because their very obnoxious mother keeps bringing up the fact that Harper had three failed engagements. Natalie, the only married woman in the wedding party, announces that she's the matron of honor and is constantly bringing up her own recent wedding, how wonderful it was, and feels Julianna should adopt her opinions and feelings about how the wedding should be, since she's the "expert." Bridesmaid Kayla is a freelance photographer who frequently travels the world on assignment. Although she's a commitment-phobe, she's happy for her friend and happy to be in the wedding -- as long as no exciting assignments come up that would of course take priority over actually being present on the wedding day. All four women have their own stories/romances/issues woven into this novel, which turned out to be pretty good. Fans of the first book will enjoy this sequel.

The Bridal Squad by Samantha Chase is the story of friends who have come together to support in the wedding preparations for Julianne (one of their squad). This should be an amazing experience that is romantic and fun however that is not the case for the most part. Each friend is fighting their own battle. Natalie has marriage problems, Kayla has relationship problems, and Harper has mother issues.

The Bridal Squad offers a strong dose of reality. The story reminds the reader that marriage is hard and relationships take work – even the best relationship isn’t always rainbows and puppy dogs.
Although I liked Julianne’s character the best because she was the one I related to the most, I thought Harper had the best line in the book “Hard to hurt yourself when you’re a big puddle of goo on the floor from a hot guy pressing his equally-hot boy all up against you”.

Even through each character struggled, they all get their happily-ever-after in the end. This story may have some tough topics but it is hopeful and confirms in the reader that strong family and friend bonds can help you get through anything!

The Bridal Squad by Samantha Chase reads like an addictive TV program with not one couple’s story but with four. Close friends including a pair of sisters are at different places in their love relationship lives. This book seems to cover it all, from failed relationships to wedding planning to marriage difficulties. It has genuine, authentic characters, both guys and girls who prove love is worth the work.

Moreover, the characters are enjoyable, who give convincing dialogue, have normal problems, then have the stamina to stay the course. The men are just a delight. The story is easy to picture in our mind and is probably being played out somewhere right now in real life.

I don’t remember reading anything else by Samantha Chase but she is now on my go-to contemporary romance writers lists. Realistic book that still is uplifting and heartwarming, despite parental nagging (see what I mean, realistic). Kudos to Samantha Chase for the Bridal Squad.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley.

Loved the Bridal Squad by Samantha Chase. Four friendships that will will take you on the ride of what friends are for that will bring laughter and tears throughout the story. I loved how they grew throughout this story. With four girls you know you will get plenty of romance!

Juilanne, the bride to be, zumba instructor meets every Saturday with her bridal party in preparation of the wedding. Is now having second thoughts on this big wedding vs eloping. Her sister, Harper with three broken engagements, has minimal help in the romance department. Natalie, already married, is having second thoughts on her marriage. Kayla, is always on the run with her job and is having a friends with benefits with her boss. Then you have Juilanne and Harper's mother to throw in her two cents. I could so identify with her. Ok, so maybe I did want to reach into the pages and strangle her a few times!!

I highly recommend this book, four romances in one story!!

Another great read from Samantha Chase!! Four best friends, all very different and extremely close not only get their stories told but we also get four love stories all wrapped in one, this is Harper Julianne Natalie and Kayla's story. This is a fun, true love kinda read. All four women have their ups and downs throughout this read, but they are always there for each other. Julianne's wedding is approaching and with the help of Enchanted Bridal they try to make her wedding day as memorable as possible, but bridal plans are all over the place and the bridal party are non stop bickering. Can the original Friday Night Bridal Squad save the day? Can these girls still maintain their close friendships? Read The Bridal Squad now to find out, it will make you laugh cry and show you just what friends are for with these strong women. This is a fun entertaining read, that is beautifully written!! Not to be missed

The third installment of the Enchanted Bridal series is a contemporary look at the struggles of womanhood in the modern age. Julianne’s squad of girlfriends come together through Zumba, fashion, and beauty tips. Their goal is to help create the perfect wedding, while struggling to overcome their own challenges. Lynhurst’s voice lends a credibility and realism to the relationships between the women in Julianne’s squad as well as with the men in their lives. She does an excellent job intoning the cattiness of the petty insults tossed between the characters. Lynhurst adds depth to even the dislikable characters. Her accents and pace changes insure readers can easily follow who is speaking from the large cast of characters. Readers who enjoy bridezilla shenanigans and traditional gender roles will find Lynhurst’s rendition of Chase’s newest book a treat. Recommend to fans of Real Housewives and reality TV shows.

The Bridal Squad by Samantha Chase is another reason why she is one of my favorite romance authors. This story takes us inside Julianne's wedding preparations with her sister and two best friends as her bridal party. We are drawn into Julianne's relationship with each girl as well as the "rubs" between each of them. The special treat with this story is that as we prepare for the one wedding, we are entwined in the romantic lives of the whole bridal party. This becomes a wonderful page turner as we learn more about each girl and psychological bckgrounds making up their personalities. I really enjoy seeing what makes each of the girls tick and how it relates not only to their reactions with each other but also their respective love interest. Highly recommend The Bridal Squad to all romance readers.

The Bridal Squad is a great read. The second book in the series, that really does not need to be read in order to be able to enjoy each of them. The Friday Night Brides are now in charge of Enchanted Bridal and we learn a bit more about their lives through out The Bridal Squad. The Bridal Squad is filled with moments that will have you laughing as well as moments that you really feel for the girls. I will be honest I really wanted to throttle Natalie in the beginning but by the middle of the book I came to really like her as well. Reading about Harper and what her deal breakers are with men and what man she finds is absolutely hilarious. I enjoyed Kayla's epiphany to how she feels about her boss. I loved how Julianne was the center of the girls especially in the beginning and how they all became better friends by the end. I really loved this book and series.

I am a recent fan of Samantha Chase's book. The Enchanted Bridal Series was a new series for me. I didn't read Book 1 and enjoyed the second in the series. I will be going back to read book 1. I liked how this book is about 4 friends in different points of time. They come together to do Zumba, which the bride, Julianne, teaches. I had two favorites the sister of the bride, Harper and Kayla who is the reluctant bridesmaid. The book has your happy endings but I think there is more to the book than the romances. The evolution of the Julianne, Harper, Kayla and Natalie friendship is great to read through out the book. Friends who weren't close in the beginning, begin to become closer throughout the book. They help each other when they need to stand up to significant others or parents. Can't wait to read more in the series.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was fun and campy and didn't take itself too seriously. But it was so disappointing! Natalie and Jayce should have gotten divorced. He's a total POS and a horrible slob and a selfish ass. Julianne can totally wear her gorgeous dress to a reception. Hell, she could wear it to the grocery store. Kayla could go on the dig if she wants. It felt like this book just promoted a very traditional view of weddings and marriage.

I will argue that it's still bad that Natalie's husband is sending her the wrong flowers, chocolate, etc. He knows his assistant knows the correct flowers; he should ask her! I really dislike how everyone is telling her to go back to him. She makes really good points and I seriously need her to leave him and find herself. And Harper is not obligated to keep her mom in her life. This book would be better if it could just let go of outmoded concepts.

This latest book by Samantha Chase proves why she is one of my must read authors. This latest book by her follows four friends through Julianne's wedding preparations. The bond of friendship these four have is so down to earth and true to life. The mini stories that unravel as you read are ones that will have you turning pages late into the night. I really like how the story starts out with Natalie and Kayla not really liking Natalie but tolerating her because she is Julianne's friend. As the story continues we find out a lot about each of them and their bond between each other. Add a few guys into the mix and you have the perfect page turner. This latest book by Samantha Chase will not leave you disappointed.
