Grace is in her late twenties and living with her single mother in Estill, South Carolina. After her brother dies in what the police call a drug-related incident, Grace is sent on a mission to find out the truth. She finds this, a relative she never knew, and a Marine whose friendship quickly blossoms into much more. Her journey leads her through many trials and choices in which she has to decide how to live out her faith. Though she makes mistakes and experiences loss, she discovers family is not always blood, and God is always good.

M. C. Kelly grew up in South Carolina, and has fond memories of beach vacations with her family. She still loves the beach and enjoys it whenever she can. Heart health awareness is an important cause to her, as well as support of our great nation's military and veterans. She lives in Georgia and enjoys bird-watching with her cat boys, and kayaking and hiking with her husband, Daryl. She plans to keep following Jesus wherever He leads.

I loved this book!!! Lots of intrigue, mystery, romance and God’s amazing grace!! Well written and couldn’t put it down once I started it!! Absolutely recommend and so looking forward to more by M.C. Kelly.

I could not put this book down. The story is riveting, with several plot twists that I didn’t see coming. This book has it all: Military, Romance, Faith, Evil, Good, Family, Sorrow, and Joy! Don’t miss this awesome book! I can’t wait until Kelly’s next book is published!

This book was a page-turner! I stayed up way too late reading it! So well-written! Highly recommend!!
