But I’m not in the right headspace to read a book about how a woman has to be bullied, harassed, and beaten down (physically and mentally) to be taken seriously. All the men on the team are trash. Put them in a firey pit and make sure they’re never around any woman ever because they literally loathe women.
This book was free on Amazon and I laughed at the title so I got it. The blurb is gross (don’t let that turn you off) but the actual story is promising.
I did love Rae. She wasn’t a “pick me” woman and she knew her worth. Even Scott was pretty good. He recognized how shitty the actions were- I wished he actually did more about it tho.
All the side female characters were catty and tore down Rae/other women. Also, they were only really there to create drama for the MMC and FMC. So I didn’t like that. Ugh.
I want to be able to get into Rae and Scott’s relationship but he’s the coach and she’s the goalkeeper. If they ever were to happen, her career would be the one to take a hit. I can’t even back it because I’ll always root for the FMC to be happy and successful. And him being with her means she is harassed even harder, and might potentially be in danger because of the scary (call the police if these men have partners), misogynistic assholes who can’t handle women existing in the world.
Will go back to this when I have the time and mental energy to put into reading about men abusing a woman, her being “tough” and “strong” by taking it, all in order to make a living and be a professional athlete.

Great read!
This was a great quick read. I loved the humor that wasn't I to this book. The chemistry was off the charts and made the sexy time so much sweeter! I did feel it was missing something though. It never really said what happened with the whole aftermath of the Wanda thing. And I mean like what punishment did she get or what ended up happening to her. Kinda cryptic I know but don't want to really spoil anything. Also I felt that it was kind of an insta love type thing but then again not quite. Not sure how to explain it. It was just missing something but not in a totally bad way. I still really enjoyed reading this!

This could have been totally cheesy but it wasn't. The man-whore was actually reformed, he's the coach now and not the player...literally. I don't know a thing about ice hockey but the author brought it to life for me. This female goalie joined a man's world, will she be accepted in this sport let alone on the team. An entertaining read, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a different twist on a hockey romance. And I loved it. I am sitting here watching the Stanley Cup writing my review! Rae is offered a chance to be a goalie in the NHL with a new team in Seattle. This of course is unheard of that I know of. She has worked her butt off to show she can be just as good as any man. Scott is the coach of the new team and a well known hockey player. The owners may not have the best reasons to call her in, but Scott wants to give her a chance. Unfortunately his witch of an ex wife works with him in PR and has her own agenda. I was surprised by how the team took to having a woman goalie. I admired Rae on how she handles herself. There are quite a few surprises that keep popping up. You have to read this good book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Put your mind to it
See it happen is what Rae did. As a sports themed story goes, this was very good and teaches a lesson too. Set goals, put your mind to it, and see it happen. Whether it's something small or huge all things are possible. Overall quality of writing was good, no cheating or cliffhanger and you get a happy ever after. Enjoy.

If you're a fan of sports romance stories that are well written with a great storyline, twists and turns, bulling, sizzling chemistry, suspense, and a whole lot more, then you definitely need to read Trouser Snake by Teagan Kade.

Bad Boy Sports! I'm not sure the order to read these, on Teagan Kade's website this book is listed first. Then on Amazon they are in a completely different order.
This was a great book. I really like the fact Rae was the only woman in NHL hockey becoming goaltender. It was a change to see a woman dominate a man's world. I felt the chemistry between Scott and Rae right away at their first meeting. When Scott invited Rae to his apartment you know they are both in trouble. I am so glad they could hook up and be together, and not hid it from the world. I like when books include little glimpses into the future and you can see the couple married with a child or two.
I wish we could have found out what happened to Wanda after what she did to Rae. I knew it was Wanda who got the tape on the Jumbotron when I first started to read it. That had effect on not only Rae but all of the players. I only wish the book was a little longer maybe exploring more into their relationship in the public eye. I know that couldn't have been easy.

Really liked it
Scott Bausch is a famous retired NHL player who is coaching the Seattle Kraken hockey team. Management wants to hire the first female goalie in the league to replace their goalie who was tragically killed. He is initially very skeptical that a female could do the job. He quickly changes his time but his players do not. They are as hard on Rae as could be and send her home black and blue all the time.I
Rae is a female goalie who is too good for the women's league and so bored with it that she refused to play. She is excited to play in the men's league but knows that convincing the male players that she is tough enough will be hard.
Hot book with a very strong capable female lead. Hot taboo relationship with her coach. Fun short read.

Easy read !
This book flows well and is easy to read in a few hours. Totally painless ! A girl with something to prove but can she ? Some of her fellow teammates are bring total dicks and refusing to accept her . The coach has her back but there's other body parts he wants to have also . Ms. Kade gave us a female lead that tough as nails. She believes in womens rights. The right to pursue her dream career , the right to pursue a dreamy man . But....can she succeed ?

Ugh. Stereotypical sports romance where a female goalie breaks into the NHL. It could have been amazing with a strong female roll model. But when the “progressive and open to change” coach first sees a pic of the goalie, he comments on how hot her lips would look around his c*ck, and by 20% in, they are. Ugh. I needed a shower and not in a good way after reading this.

A sports romance must read!
I so enjoy reading sports romance and this newest release does not disappoint. I loved Rea’s character her strength and will puts her on top. Her chemistry with Scott was hot and their heat level sizzles. An enjoyable read overall and a definite read for anyone who loves this genre.

Best Romance ever
This is the best romance I read in a long time I didn't want to stop reading, every break I at work I would continue reading. Rae and Coach Baush are HOT! The story line was different a Great underdog story, woman trying to play in male dominate game on a man's team, and succeeds! Love it from beginning to end!

Omg I loved this book so much. A great fight of equality, overcoming obstacles in life and finding love in the middle of it all. I fell in love with the characters and hope some of the others get their own book. A must read!

This book was very hot and I really enjoyed the storyline. The only thing that let it down was the inaccuracy in some of the sporting details.

This was a really good book with a different take on hockey romance that was refreshing to read. It reminds me of a tv show called Pitch. Would recommend as a fun read.

Dual POV. Good amount of sexy scenes with a little snarky humor. Completely unrealistic but that didn’t bother me as much as the inaccurate hockey stuff.
