An act of terror eliminated civilization. Ninety percent of all adults died, and nine percent became zombies—whose brains were slowly recovered by nanites. Only one percent stayed human. Life had been turned into something resembling a computer game, where levels were increased by absorbing the nanorobots from other’s bodies.
Presumptuous mankind had destroyed itself, but it might still be reborn in a new form, with a new meaning, with the sole Sun, and with the new God – the Supreme Mind.

Above average story with some minor translation quirks. I'm fairly certain the skill "Jerk" should have been "Dash" or something, but I got the picture even if it was inelegantly done. The setting of following a zombie apocalypse from the eyes of a zombie was entertaining enough to keep me engaged the whole way through. Overall, a refreshing read.
It says this is book 1 in a series, but the other books have yet to be translated and this concluded in a \ satisfying enough manner to be considered a proper end.
I really enjoyed the first scene of this book, but it went downhill after that. It is very obviously a Russian translation and has a lot if problems common to similarly translated books. Other than grammar and syntax, the characters were very flat and hard to empathize with. The plot was confusing and often hard to follow what was important and why. I think this is a very cool concept, but it could have been executed better.
There is probably a good story here but the mediocre translation ruins it. There is an interesting premise, a solid leveling mechanism, and some new ideas. It also feels like it was written by Google translate.
I made it through the book but it was just not my cup of tea. I did enjoy the idea of the book but in the second half I just got bogged down. I believe it did suffer in translation.
