"There are private auctions, held by the wealthy elite of this city. It may be your only option for a better life for you and your daughter. But I have to ask, are you still able to bear children?"
The chills run through my spine. But what other option do I have?
A single mom. A convicted, abusive ex-husband. A world that is crumbling.
What else can I ask for? I will keep my daughter safe, no matter the cost.
"OK", I said. "Sign me in."
Four days later, a letter shows up in my mailbox:
"Dear Mrs. Robson,
It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been purchased by Mr. George Armitage, Esq. Mr. Armitage is a pillar of the Chicago community, and is the CEO of Armitage pharmaceuticals. They are an extremely wealthy household, and I am sure you will settle in very nicely there.
As for what services you will be providing, Mr. Armitage is looking for..."
But I couldn't read anymore. Oh Lord...
What did I get myself into!?

Hi! I am Daniella and writing is my life. It was not until very recently that Fiffy and I finally got the courage to follow our dream and become full time authors.
Even though I am the only one writing, Fiffy is always here to assist me with inspiration.
My characters are like people inside my head that won’t leave me alone until I give them life on paper. I really enjoy writing fantasy romances and I’m thrilled to be doing it full time.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💋💋 Great story, interesting characters and backstory, very enjoyable plot . Expected it to be more raunchy and was pleasantly surprised. Sex written into a great story rather than story written around sex scenes. This made it much more readable.
I felt like this book had soo much potential to be absolutely a favorite. It could have been incredibly compelling. It had a good overall story line but I felt lacked details and complexity. It just had so much more room to be incredible.
So last night I wasn't ready to go to bed, but I had already read a pretty long book, so I went searching on KU to find something a little shorter. Moreover, I found this book. Where has Daniella been?
Okay so, I have read plenty of auctioned books before, they are one of my favorite troupes to read. However, this one is different. Not only is it not an ordinary sold book, but it is a reverse harem differently, too.
This book covers a variety of different troupes, reverse, harem, the world has changed, and billionaire alpha males. I loved it. Yes, this book may be strange in a "normal" set but damn it is good. I loved that it had a storyline and that the sex didn't overpower it like some of these different types of books do. I am a fan and will be devouring the other books of hers!
I wasn't sure how this book was gonna go at first but I gotta say I enjoyed reading it. As the world is doomed to exist Chicago takes matters into its own hands. The division between the wealthy and the poor are evident. When Emma is faced with the streets or doing something she's not necessarily comfortable with...she goes with the uncomfortable, as it's all for her daughter. She wants a better life for her and yeah herself as well...what she gets is something she never expected. This book isn't like most end of the world books so if those books aren't your cup of tea that's ok cuz this one is!!
This is a great book, it brings a little sci-fi in lives around the family. In this book, you are brought right into two different families and their crisis. Each of these family members has a moment of self-reflection and finding love, respect, and great sex partners.
The plot development and character development is smooth and quick. But with enough to keep the reader fully engaged in the advancement of the story. The sex scenes were good, not overly exotic or steamy but good honest romance kind of love. There is a little unorthodox lifestyle described in this book but nothing vulgar.

Emma and Poppy need a new lease on life and in the future that means being auctioned off to someone with money. Emma is going to be the nanny for Alfie. The Armitage family holds a lot of money and power. Soon three men are falling for Emma but can they protect her from her abusive ex. Fast-paced read with loads of drama and suspense. I really liked the characters and the story had a great flow. I liked this futuristic read.
This was bad. So bad. Sex with more than 2 people can be difficult to write but man this author didn’t seem to know what happened just 2 paragraphs before and had them in some crazy situations. 🤦🏻♀️
Also I found this under the sci-fi/fantasy list for KU but it’s not either. It’s erotica set in a dystopian world. 🙄
This was my first time reading author, Daniella Wright's work and I was really entertained with the plot and backstory of "Auctioned To the Armitage Brothers." #doomsdayvirus
I don't know what I expected, but certainly didn't get a good book with this one. Very boring, read 45% and couldn't finish. Author clubs you over the head with her political beliefs. Male characters unappealing.
I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review. I have said this before in other reviews, I always give honest reviews whether people appreciate them or not. To be honest with you, Dystopian stories are hit or miss for me. I have enjoyed some by other authors over the years and yet hated some by other authors. Now you know.
All right, the prologue begins with Mother Earth being tired, angry and bitter about how humans all over her world have been treating her. She’s spent years warning the stupid humans (that’s my comment) to stop trying to destroy her. She amps up the Global Warming which unfortunately also amps up corrupt governments. The Rich are generally safe, but the poor might as well be dead. In 2051, Mother Earth also releases the Doomsday Virus which destroys many people. Whoever it doesn’t kill ends up in places like bio-domes to ‘protect’ them. She also makes certain that humans have fertility issues, thus making reproduction almost impossible.
This story begins in 2061 with Emma hiding with her daughter Poppy from her abusive husband Greg. After Poppy’s birth Greg started drinking heavily and ended up losing his job. Since losing his job he became very abusive to Emma. At the same time, over in the Rich part of town, George Armitage is trying to convince his son Andrew to find someone to come and care for his grandson (Andrew’s son) Alfie. Andrew’s wife Louisa died and so Andrew along with his brother Freddie and his cousin Jason raise his son in their spare time. The Armitage’s are very prejudiced against those in the Poor areas of town. Emma’s husband gets caught, tried, convicted and exiled from the bio-dome for stealing and being inebriated. Poor Emma not only watches Greg’s trial and his exile, she then goes to work to find out she’s just been fired. Joy.
Emma goes to a company that says they can auction her (with Poppy) for a job. She jumps on the chance and things begin to turn for the better. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Andrew, his father has purchased Emma to be the nanny to Alfie. Oy. Her meeting with Andrew, Freddie and Jason was difficult. They were angry with George and they didn’t want some stranger there taking care of Alfie. All right, I have to say that this was a very difficult story to read. I completely disliked all the Armitage’s, Emma was okay, but except for Poppy I didn’t like any of the characters in this story. That said, from Chapter Eleven until Chapter Eighteen was actually good. The characters were developed well in those chapters and I actually thought I could finish the book.
I don’t know if Ms. Wright is using this as the first story of a series or not. If so, then I expect the following stories to be significantly better since she won’t be Universe building in those. All in all, the first half of the story wasn’t gripping or easy to read, but the second half was enjoyable and easy to get through. I have actually purchased other books by Ms. Wright and just because I found this one difficult does not mean I won’t purchase other books from her.
Truthfully, I have only read a few of Ms. Wright's releases and I hardly ever read futuristic reads, however, I couldn't put this book down. That right there should tell you that I found it fascinating. Just riveted all the way through this quick and beautifully crafted romance. As a parent, what wouldn't you do for your children? In this incredibly designed book, you're about to find out what Emma would do. Emma is protecting her young Daughter, Poppy, and when I tell you that this release is creative and out of my 'norm', I am not kidding. That being said, I AM SO GLAD THAT I READ IT. While I do try very hard never to give away any part of a storyline so that I do not ruin it for reader's, I find it difficult to do for this release... I just want to brag about the talent displayed and how amazing I found it.
This impeccable release is based in the future and does have relatable characters. As I've already stated, Emma is a Mother trying to protect her Daughter and it is with Poppy in mind that she follows the path she does. Working for the Armitage Family, who are rich as well as powerful is going to change the lives of many. I encourage all reader's to follow along to see just how this happens. Danger lurks and Emma's abusive Ex isn't done with her yet. Can these men keep them safe and grow their feelings/future? Dramatic and intriguing must read release.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Auctioned To The Armitage Brothers in exchange for my honest opinion and I highly recommend reading this book.
This is a really good and the first time I have read this author. The story begins with the world being wiped out by the Deadly doomsday virus in the year 2051.it took another decade 2061 a child had been born those who were not infected and those who survived were discovered to be infertile or of low fertility. The city of Chicago was made in to a biodomes to keep the surviving people alive and the virus out.The bio dome was split into Those who were wealthy or possessed strong genetics that would lead to successful fertility, were given special dispensations and were permitted to lead a harmonious life in the city’s most distinguished quarters, with the constant protection while the less fortunate fend for themselves. We meet Emma who is unfortunate who is abused by her husband and they have a five year old daughter named poppy.they live the Garden District which is the poor part of the biodome.Husband Greg was a drunken and got stealing and was sentenced to live his live outside the dome.Emma worked as a nurse got cut from her job.she went to city guides were a charitable organization who help people like Emma who becomes the nanny for the armpit age family. Further in the book you meet the Armitage brothers.Andrew,Fredrick and cousin Jason. Andrew is the one who has a son named Alfie who Emma is to look after. The story is really good I don’t want to give anymore away read the book.i will say this there is HEA.

This story takes place in the future after some kind of bacteria has wiped out a lot of the human population. Leaving the world segregated accordingly to class/income. Emma and her daughter Poppy have been living a hard life with Emma's husband and one day when he days something that gets him exile she knows that in order to make a better life for her daughter she has to find a way somehow. She learns of this auction and that if she is lucky the buyer will even buy her daughter as a package deal. Emma is surprised to learn that the both of them are going to the same buyer and that Emma is to be a nanny to a young child. Things start off rough for them in their new home as they have some adjustments. Just as it look like things may be looking up for them there's a threat coming that no one could expect. Will they be able to deal with the threat before its too late? Will Emma finally find a home for her and little Poppy?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. I loved how it started off with how everyone came to be where they were in the future. The chemistry between them all is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This book was truly terrible! I can’t even think up all I would need to say to give you an idea of how much this book sucked. But here goes.....
Looking at the cover and reading the book blurb you assume RH, then you read the prologue which puts you into Dystopian RH. So positive note, good premise for a short to medium length word porn book. So ends the positive notes, onto the negative notes.
*To much political *Long winded, more dialogue need rather than inner monologues *No grasp of how physical abuse victims would think and act *There’s no actually “auction”, when your auctioned, you don’t then get paid a salary. *To much on societal class levels *Excuse me Writer....Yes, Can I get some Storyline with my book please, that be great thanks! Hugs chunks missing that could be developed. *Unbelievable plot twist/ danger situation, seriously he got back into the dome!?! How!? 🙄 *Sex scenes 1.5..... MAJOR FAIL *Sex scenes: not passionate, no kink, hard to follow, BORING *If your going to spends pages and pages discussing foreplay, How the hero’s are good in bed, and about the heroine finally having an orgasm.....give her more than 2! Make it more realistic that them being back to back only minutes apart with the same guy!
I really could go on but I’m tired and depressed, which should never occur with word porn!
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. This book is the first book that I have read by this author. It's a little slow to start with and I struggled a little with this, but the further I got into the book the more I enjoyed it. I don't normally go in for dystopian book's, but as this was an ARC then I thought I'd give it a go. The characters are well written and believable in the circumstances that they live and the attitudes they have, especially the Armitage family, as they are wealthy. The servants attitude towards Emma to start with shocks me, as you would think that they are all on the same level?? Emma's husband Greg is a real piece of work, and to think that the only reason that Emma ends up at the Armitage house in the first place is because of him and his selfish ways. But also to think that in the future people can be sold at auction and it not be on the black market, is also a shock. There are also some hot steamy sex scenes, that will leave you hot under the collar.

This was a great book and right from the start and got better the more you read and now I’m sad that it ended. Emma thought she married the man of her dreams in Greg but when the Doomsday virus wiped out a lot of humans and made many of them infertile and so the world changed into the haves and the have nots and Emma has just found out she is pregnant and all is going well and there daughter is born until Greg looses his job and blames Emma and Poppy and starts to abuse her and there child in many of his drunken episodes Emma keeps her safe and away from him then he is caught stealing and exiled out of the bio dome and she looses her job as a nurse now how is Emma going to survive. She puts herself up for auction but her child must be included and she is quickly snapped up by the wealthy Mr Armitage for his grandson and life is looking up for them both. How does it all turn out read this amazing book to find out.

I enjoyed reading Auctioned To The Armitage Brothers. All about Emma Robson a young women in her twenties auctioned off as a nanny with her daughter Poppy who is five in tow and The Armitage Brothers, Andrew & his son Alfie who is five, Freddie his baby brother & Jason Anderson there cousin, but more like a brother. It’s the year 2061 and the earth has undergone a Doomsday Virus that over the last decade has killed more than half its human population. There are two classes of people Ultra Wealthy & Dirty poor. So because of this earth cleanse some people are fully fertile and others have low fertility! So in the last decade no new children were born. So the government has set up auctions, and sells fertile women to the wealthy. Read about Emma & Poppy and see how they fair being auctioned off to the Uber rich Armitage family as a Nanny! I enjoyed reading this story and finding out what life is like after a natural disaster shakes up the entire human population!!!
From the synopsis I thought this would be one of those books where the female is forced into sexual servitude, but I was pleasantly surprised.
First of all this is set in a future where birthrates are nearing zero. The rich are in charge (as usual) and if you are a male, you've got it made. Cities are under shields, and crimes are punished by exile from the shielded cities. Forget Justice and equal rights, that's a thing of the past and a luxury.
Our female protagonist is a wife and a mother to one of the last born. She is fertile and her husband is an abusive douche. Her husband is exiled, she needs a way to support herself and to make matters worst she is blacklisted from getting a normal job due to her association with said douche husband.
She finally lands a job that will permit her to keep her daughter with her and enters a relationship willingly with three men. The End.
For more details (which are worth reading) read the book.
P.S. It also features a virus, hence the need for shielded cities.
It is very good. Almost realistic in a post-apocalyptic virus wiping out human scenario. Abused wife & hospital ER nurse Emma Robson gets a string of bad luck until one of those bad situations turns out good for her and her 5-yr old daughter Poppy. Reduced to desperation, Emma agrees to be auctioned off to the wealthy as a servant. An alternative way of thinking of job boards. Losing her abusive husband to exile and in the same day losing her job, Emma seeks help with the City Guide to keep her & daughter off the street. A true mother will sacrifice anything for the survival of her children. Becoming a nanny to a spoiled brat, it tests Emma’s patience and anger. Eventually things calm down and Emma is finally able to relax until questions and curiosity happens and one fatal trip to the zoo occur. Emotions run high and thoughts are revealed. I laughed. I cried. I wanted to beat the axxhole out of a little shite. It was a fantastic story even with the prologue being the introduction of why the characters are were they are.
Auctioned to the Armitage Brothers. This was an interesting story of love and survival in a world crumbling around you. Emma's life was falling apart around her. Her and her daughter, Poppy, were on the verge of losing everything when George Armitage decided to buy her and her daughter and bring them into his home to care for his grandson. Little did she know how much influence she would have on the brothers that lived there also. Andrew, Freddie, and Jason fell in love with her and made it their mission to make Emma and Poppy feel a part of the family and enjoy the luxuries their family could offer them. Life became better for all. Good read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. Unique for me. A post-apocalyptic romance with some standout details, this takes place in Chicago some time in the future. Chicago is under a dome and much of the world fell to disease. The story starts with the h’s life before meeting the brothers. She’s still married to her abusive husband. His exile/presumed death sentence for stealing, and the loss of her job puts the h into abject poverty. She is “sold” to a wealthy family to serve as a nanny and has some trials and tribulations finding her way in the new household. The very masculine household. Reverse Harem Romance. In a world where fertile woman are a rare commodity and she’s a proven breeder. Overall this was a great story. There were a few moments where I felt it dragged, but it always picked back up and has some excellent twists.
This was a rather quick almost post apocalyptic romance. A huge virus whipped out a good portion of the human population and left the remainder with infertility issues (Mother nature’s payback😙) The world/setting descriptions were very in depth and imaginative. However, the characters lacked any real depth or chemistry. I was hoping to see our heroines relationship with little Alphie grow more but we just learn about it in passing. The three Heroes were pretty much interchangeable and lacked personality. Poppy was adorable but way to well behaved for any 5 year old. The story itself just left so many holes and questions.
The only sex scene towards the end just didn’t give me any feels and was pretty disappointing🙁
Wonderful dystopian story where on the brink of the end of the world, hope is found with Emma and the three men that have fallen in love with her. Emma finds herself in dire straits when her abusive husband is convicted of theft and public inebriation, therefore exiled outside the dome that protects people from being wiped out of existence. She then finds herself without a job and is lucky enough to find one with a rich family in need of a nanny. As they get closer the two brothers and their cousin fall for Emma and she seems to have developed the same feelings for all three of them. Great read that I just didn’t want to put down.

I didn't think it possible for a foursome to be so boring and vanilla. The plot of the story was a good, believable even. I admired the heroine and while the men were okay, I found them boring and bland. This isn't a steamy read at all, no sexual tension at all in fact. The writing is good and if you want a vanilla RH, then this one is a good one to read. Personally , I like my heroes to be more aggressive, take action sorts of men. My rating is more of a 2.5 because I was able to finish it, the writing and plot are worth it. The characters-bland. The sex-bland. If I must read about sex, I'd rather read about interesting sex. And this? I've had better sessions solo.
The prologue was promising and set up an interesting premise...and then the story fell flat after that for me. It had the potential to be really good, but the character development was lacking and the dialogue was dull - so I never became invested with any of the characters. The plot dragged in parts and felt rushed in others, which gave the story a choppy feel. Besides that, there was a lot of blatant political messages woven in. Not that there's anything wrong with that, and not that I didn't agree with them, but most readers of this genre aren't looking for that.
In order to provide for her daughter, Emma auctions herself to the wealthy. She arrives at the Armitage house, as the new nanny. She is greeted by Andrew, Freddie, and Jason, the men of the household. There are some challenges that she faces but she faces them head on, thinking only of her daughter’s future. A bond starts to form between Emma and the 3 men.
An interesting read of life in the future and the struggles that society goes through. There is a bit of romance and suspense. The tile is a bit misleading but it is worth reading..

This is an unusual and fascinating tale. It stems from a world in the future where a virus has destroyed most of the human population and the last child was born 5 years before. The story revolves a young woman, her 5 yr. old daughter, and the differences by caste between the poor and the wealthy. The story pulls you in and contrasts some of the attitudes of the poor and the wealthy. I really liked this story. This is a must read!

I like the premise of the story. It was relatable. It's about a time in the future where humans destroyed the environment and a virus killed of all but a fourth of the world population. The virus made most man and women infertile. And like you may have imagined there are those who we rich and very disconnected with the plight of the poor. I don't to spoil the plot, but I don't particularly like stories where there is too much description. It was boring a lot of the time, but I made it though. It was just ok.
Danielle Wright has written a great book that gives us a look at an alternative look at our future. I started the book expecting another menace story. I was wrong. The story line is well constructed, to the point that I could see this version of Chicago in my minds eye. The interaction between Emma and the three Armitage Men is very well written, to the point that I was unable to put it down. You need to read this book, but make sure you have a block of time set aside. I just couldn't stop reading it.
I took a chance reading this book as I don’t normally read romance but with the plot base, this book was intriguing to say the least. After finishing this story and with the changes occurring daily within our society the old saying, “Nothing really surprises me any more” just became a reality. Even with the adult content, nothing in this book could be termed improbable. I considered this a “Feel Good” read and highly recommend it for it’s storyline, insight, and fun.
