Something other than a thirst for justice runs in her veins…
The past couple weeks have been rough for Pandora, even for a badass police detective on the fast track for promotion.
First, she’s forced to use her magic to save her grandmother from some goon looking to get on Lucifer’s good side. But is Grandma grateful? Nooo, all Pandora gets is a lecture about how she should keep her head down and act “normal”.
Next, she loses her best friend in a car accident from which Pandora herself walks away without a scratch. As if dealing with that load of guilt isn’t enough, she’s got a new partner, Atieno, who turns out to be hot guy she made out with the night before. Awkward.
As Pandora and Atieno investigate a string of bodies turning up without a mark on them—but definitely not dead of natural causes—she’s having trouble resisting the heat building between them. But when push comes to hellfire, she doesn’t hesitate to make a choice that will change everything…
Another great read, with lots of chemistry and hotness. This is a well written story and hooked me from the start. This is a quick hot read, with a interesting plot and fantastic characters, great emotion and Loads of steam!

This is the second book in the Siblings of the Underworld Series from Linzi Baxter. The story begins with Pandora and her grandmother being attacked by demons in her grandmother’s home. Her grandmother is yelling for her to run and Pandora nixes that while killing demons. The fight is both physical and magical. Grandmother manages to take many of them out but ends up being killed. What a bang for the first chapter huh? It gets better. One of Pandora’s ‘powers’ is bringing back the dead. If you’ve read enough books involving magic, you know there’s a price for everything, and Pandora knows this too. After bringing her grandmother back she knows someone close to her will die in the next couple of days. It sucks. While she recovers, her Grandmother makes her go shower and change. When she comes back downstairs there’s a man and a Pandacorn! It turns out that man is her father. Lucifer. She of course doesn’t believe in the devil and doesn’t believe he’s her father…Sighs.
All right, Pandora is a police officer in New Orleans. She never advertises her power, but the Chief saw her use it once and makes sure to get her on difficult cases. Her power isn’t just being able to bring back the dead, she can see the last twenty or so minutes of their lives and see what happened. It’s a handy skill sometimes. Right after she meets her good ole’ dad, she gets called in because there’s a new murder for her to look into. Lucifer insists on going with her, so you can imagine as I did the look on the Chief’s face when he finds out that Lucifer is her father. He he he. Anyway, he insists that he’s sending someone to help them with the case, an FBI agent that they’ve all heard of except her. Oh boy.
As I said in the beginning of this review, this is the second book in the series. The first book is Hell’s Key, where we meet Paldon and surprise, surprise, Lucifer is her father too! (Apparently Lucifer is kind of a manwhore, but maybe Ms. Baxter will dedicate a story to him.) The FBI agent is Atieno, half vampire and half Lion shifter. We met him briefly in the first book. Oh, Atieno is also the King of the shifters. Nice. So there are shifters and others missing or murdered, New Orleans is a tad stressed since the press is saying there’s a serial killer and Pandora’s found out that her mom isn’t her mom, she has a twin sister and Lucifer’s her father. All in all it’s been a helluva day. Atieno happens to be her mate, so besides all the twists and turns in this story, she’s dealing with the ‘Mate Pull’ and just doesn’t know what to do with it. So, I liked the story a lot. Ms. Baxter writes some great characters and a good story. I do, however, recommend reading Hell’s Key first so you have a better grasp on the universe and Lucifer too. My only minor issue with this book is that since it was an ARC that I read, it had some editing issues. Not tons, but a few that were annoying. I am so looking forward to reading Hell’s Vacation (Book Three) when it’s released in 2020.
Pandora was having tea with her Grandma Cloven in the living room when a portal opened and demons, trolls, and a gnome attacked! Grandma hurled her magic everywhere fighting them; Pandora’s magic was much tamer (useless in a fight) and she preferred her gun, which Grandma had not allowed in the house! A powerful burst of Grandma’s magic took down all the creatures in the room, as Grandma slumped in exhaustion – but more leaped through the portal! Grandma had switched to batting them with a broom until her magic “re-charged”. During the fighting, however, Grandma gets killed! Now Pandora’s magic becomes important since she can bring the dead back to life – but at a cost. Someone else will die in Grandma’s place. When Pandora goes off for a shower and returns, a man is in the room – he’s not just any man. This is her father, Lucifer! And the cleaning service was going to have a fit about the condition of the blood-covered living room!
As part of Pandora’s job as a detective, her supernatural powers came in handy. She was going to need all the help she could get with the bodies turning up all over the place. Her father sends an FBI agent to help her and she finds it difficult to keep her hands off her delicious new partner, Atieno Brone, half-lion, half-vampire, and the king of all shifters! Will they be able to work together to stop the killer? Will she suspect that he just might be her mate?
This was a wonderful book, absolutely hilarious and very fast-paced! The dialog is good, the hi-jinks will keep the reader laughing almost non-stop, and Grandma is amazing! Pandora gets lots of new information about her family members – apparently nothing she thought she knew was correct! She didn’t even have the correct date for her own birthday! And it looks like she’s not willing to acknowledge Lucifer as her father until he gets a DNA test! The mental images all the way through this book just keep the reader laughing! How can you not love this story??
Pandora's day just isn't starting out well at all. Out of the blue her beloved grandmother is attacked by insane demons and trolls. What the heck is going on? Lucky for her she is a detective with paranormal abilities. What she wasn't expecting is learning she's got a twin named Paldon... oh yes and Lucifer is her father?!?!? What in the world? Turns out the woman that raised her didn't give birth to her, and others had a clue about this already. Little time to ponder on the new info as supernaturals are getting kidnapped and murdered, and she's on the hunt for the perpetrator. Lucky for her daddy dearest sends along one hot, supernatural FBI guy to "help"....now if only she could get that super cute and cuddly pandacorn to come with?!? 🐼🐼🐼. Lots of supernatural hijinx, kick butt women with a fiery streak, and lots of fun and giggles along the way. This series is just so much fun to read! I for one can't wait for Lucy, Paldon, and Pandora to learn who their mother was/is and how they were taken from their parents. In book one we learned someone somehow managed to mess with Lucifers aka Lucy's memories...I get the impression this is top on his things to do list. This is one powerful, awesome, and often hysterical family. Enjoy!!
Hell’s Future by Linzi Baxter is the second book in the Siblings of the Underworld series. In this book, Pandora a homicide detective in New Orleans is visiting her grandmother when they are attacked by demons. The fight goes on until almost all the demons are dead when one kills her grandmother. Pandora refuses to let her grandmother die and uses her powers to bring her grandmother back from the dead even though she knows that someone else close to her will die to even fates scales. Almost immediately a man appears who her grandmother calls Lucifer. As Pandora tries to make a joke of who would name their child after the devil. Her grandmother says to her, he is the devil and since she used her powers he could feel it because he is her father. This is the beginning of an exciting book involving a woman coming to terms with her supernatural heritage and new family, while she’s dealing with the danger of demons being sent to kill her. I loved that the main character in this book is sassy and refuses to let her newfound family situation change her. This is definitely one of the best paranormal suspense filled romances I have read. Hell’s Future is a story full of danger, suspense, and romance.
You kind of never see it coming. I’ve not known Linzi to write such a serious, quirky and funny book at the same time. Hmmmm. Last we knew, Pandora has brought her grandmother back to life, but that will have consequences to someone close to her. Now, because she has used her magical powers in a big way, it summons her father, the “Devil”. He is handsome and wears a black suit and classy white shirt. I don’t think most of us envision him to look that way. He has quite the collection of children which he loves dearly seem to be mostly girls. Purple portals keep opening up where Pandora or her grandmother happen to be, where creepy creatures like bloodthirsty demons and trolls keep falling out and attacking them. Although Pandora works for the police department, she is informed the FBI will have an agent assist them. Atieno turns out to be the King of the Shifters. There are a lot of twists and turns, secrets and other interesting surprises. So, good luck keeping everyone straight! Very fun and entertaining, suspenseful, and loving packed into one package. Gotta read this one! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Hell's Future is the second book in the Siblings of the Underworld series and it is amazing. Wonderful characters, including Pandora, Atieno Brone (half-lion, half-vampire, and the king of all shifters), and Pandora's father, Lucifer - yes, that Lucifer.
The storyline is excellent, well written with fun, danger, secrets revealed, and some romance. This is a fast-paced book that captures your attention from the first and doesn't let up. I cannot wait for the next in this series.

I love this series so much! I thought book one was great but book two got even better!!! 🙌🏻The flow of the story and the chemistry romance with our new leads was amazing! I kept blushing and swooning!! Im really hoping Wrath gets her own story or at least a romantic lead.. that girl needs some loving!! cant wait to see the other siblings in action! I read this with my kindle unlimited 😘Pandora&Atieno❤️
Detective Pandora has a mess on her hands. Her first day off in two weeks and the Chief of Police calls her in. Her Lt. was murdered - in violent Technicolor. He's not the first or the last -and they are all shifters. Why? Power. Who? That's the hard part. And after Dad introduces himself, he sends help. Strong, gorgeous, hunk of help. Plus her sister, Wrath, you know, seven deadly sins. Pandora's a little flustered.
We have a little of each supernatural, with some suspense and more. Pandora Is having tea with her grandma when a portal opens and from there on nothing is going right. What will she do to protect? What will she do when she finds out the Truth? What’s this about who I am? Does she really have a mate?

Pandora is a cop. Someone is murdering shifters, her Lieutenant was killed, A family and her Grandmother. But she brought her back to life. Other supernaturals are missing, so help comes from the supernatural FBI. She meets Patient who is half vampire and lion shifter, and is King of the shifters. He is also her mate.
This book is seriously so freaking good. Pandora is just as interesting and had me laughing just as much as in Paldon in the first book. Atieno is sent to help her with a case and shes not quite sure how to handle him at first but knows she wants him. Such an inriguing and very enjoyable series!
This was a great paranormal book! It was really well written with great characters and a wonderful story line! I loved it and I would recommend it to others!

A great read and a book I greatly recommended. The characters gell well and the lead characters have great chemistry. I read this in one sitting and could not put it down. Check it out 😍
really enjoyed this installment of the hells key series, my only gripe is I wanted there to be some interaction between the sisters and the mum they lost and there was very little. Otherwise this story was fast-paced, with a slow burn romance and lots of action.
This book was difficult to read. Needed a proof reader for sure and it was full of useless swear words. I don't mind swearing but this was just for show. Some parts looked they were written by a twelve year old.
Lucifer sire is the fun dad in this series. I'm glad Pandora got her friend back but I think the worst is yet to come. I loved that Atieno finally got his happy ending. Wrath is hell on two legs, but she is my favorite character.
Pandora is certainly stubborn and in denial like her twin that’s for sure. I am so loving Paxdon the pandacorn, just so adorable. Wrath certainly make me laugh with her antics. She’s so funny. I so didn’t trust Jared and glad Wrath did what she did to him. Poor Sasha, my heart just broke for her and then I also had tears in my eyes when Fate did that for Sasha.
