Matthew continues to develop his powers with the stone. He finds new ways to use it to help others. He secretly works with the FBI to thwart a terrorist plot. See how he manages to save the day while keeping his identity a secret.
Bob Blanton has been an avid reader ever since his mother first took him to a library at age five. He has toyed with writing for years since college but was always too busy to start a novel. The "stone series" developed almost by itself as he was trying to sleep on long flights to Asia and Europe. He managed to write it and two follow-on novels while he was working, but never had the time to polish them. After he retired to the beach in Mexico, the only thing that competes with writing is the sound of the ocean and sunsets over the water. Now that he has published his series, he hopes you enjoy reading them as much as he has had writing them. Check back for other books as he continues to ply his new trade.
Now that he has published his series, he hopes you enjoy reading about Matthew and his developing powers as much as he has enjoyed writing about them.
I gave the previous book the benefit of the doubt, but this series really is just a spoilt, rich kid, soap opera. There were a few interesting bits connected to the portal and there was some excitement near the end of the book, this nearly saved the story for me, but I could really have done with less of the rich kid soap opera. If possible I would have given 2.5 stars.
As usual Bob Blanton does an outstanding job on all aspects of this story, incurring characters, plot and action. Do yourself a favor & read this book & this series, you’ll be glad you did! I’m really looking forward to reading book 3. I love this series!
Believable, great people that are real. The toddlers, teens, and grown ups all seem different and real. The possible hook up with government is interesting.
I enjoyed the way this is maturing. The fantasy about his abilities and how he's able to use them is building into a delightful story. All the various story lines about how rich people live make them seem a little more human. Spending the amount of money, they have on what most people would consider frivolous pleasures, while many others work day-to-day to keep their heads above water can be a little disturbing, but then where would the story be? Telling their story might be needed. Thank you.
Matthew and his friends are enjoying their activities and camaraderie until terrorists strike. How will Matthew and Emily escape? Matthew's practice with his portal comes in handy. I like the action, humor, and romance. It feels like I am part of the group when they interact. I look forward to the next book.
I liked the magical premise of a portal. This book is second one of a series. The young hero is experimenting and learning more about his powers. I have it 4 stars as it was an easy read and kept my interest throughout the book.
Not much action in the first book, just setting the stage. Well written, though. First part of the second book is also low action, bit the last chapters are great. Looking forward to the third book.
This series is not a fast action book. It does have really nice action scenes scattered throughout the book so it is not slow. What the book does extremely well is get you involved I’m the life of the characters and their adventures. Great series
Great action but no way that the secret will remain a secret. Too many people will be able will see enough dots and come looking (and kidnapping) for the full story. Too many relatives and friends for potential hostages.
The outline is a guy finds a seer stone of seeing. The great is the day to day life of some teenagers. From skiing, sailing, tennis, and so on and so on it’s a neat peak into the rich.
